SportsSenior Super Eagles Stars In Major Fallout With Captain Ahmed Musa Over Matbonus by Bobbyjay001(op):
As first reported by SCORENigeria, a major pay row is boiling in the Super Eagles camp at the 2023 AFCON after outstanding bonuses and allowances of the team have yet to be paid despite a Government approval to clear these monies.

It can now be reported that the cash crisis in the Super Eagles has taken a new dimension after several senior players fell out with captain Ahmed Musa for “not fighting” for the team.

SCORENigeria learnt that the senior players accused Ahmed Musa of taking sides with the NFF leadership as it concerns payments for them.

One of the senior players who recently captained the team in the absence of Ahmed Musa had a personal confrontation with the captain on this vexed issue.

It was alleged that Ahmed Musa has failed to carry the rest of the team on discussions concerning their welfare.

“There is a serious issue of trust between Ahmed Musa and the other players when it comes to pursuing their entilements,” one of the players told SCORENigeria

“They believe he has not represented their interests.”

Some of the players have already warned they will go “above and beyond” their captain and take the matter to a higher level soon.

“How do you expect Ahmed Musa to take on the NFF to get the entitlements of the team when they did him a very big favour by getting him on the AFCON squad?” another source rhetorically asked SCORENigeria.

Me: NFF have lost every iota of shame so nothing about them will surprise me anymore.

My own is they shouldn't use their two left legs to distract these hardworking, passionate and committed youngsters, I mean Friday is just two days away!!!

On Musa, I've been very vocal about my impression of him and those who have read from me consistently knows where I stand.

Musa has NEVER spoken up for player's welfare before so I wonder what the definition of Leadership is when some people stray to defend what is indefensible.

SportsWhen Patriotism Takes Over Selfishness: Life Time o Great Legend Samuel Okwaraju by Bobbyjay001(op):
REMEMBERING AN ICON ON HIS BIRTHDAY

THE UNTOLD STORY
(He Slumped And Never Got Up...)

Fatherless at age 5, mother still saved up to send him to Italy to study because of his exceptional brilliance.

By 23 he had both BSc and MSc in Law and at 25 he was going for his Doctorate in law...Something happened!

Outside his love for education, he loved football and decided to play professionally.

He started his career in Ukraine at age 21 before going on to play for 3 other clubs.

In 1988 he was called to play for the Nigerian National Team...

That's Where the Problem Started.

His Club were not in support of him traveling to play Nigeria and he had this to say...

"I am a lawyer you know and you signed me to play football for certain conditions but i don't think it included reselling my service to my country. You or your club cannot stop me from
playing for my country. Let me tell you, I am going to represent my country whether you like it or not."

He continued representing Nigeria against the wishes of his club.

He flew himself to and fro matches for Nigeria and refused match bonuses because he felt it was an honor His Club still didn't like it but he still persisted.

On the 12th of August 1989...
"Nigeria vs Angola" in Lagos...It happened!

On the 77th minute, "He Slumped And Never Got Up" and by the time he got to the hospital, he was dead!

Autopsy showed he had a heart defect.

Now The Problem Proper...

In Europe he had life insurance of over "4 BILLION DOLLARS" but there was a stipulation. He has to die in Europe to get the insurance.

His family lost that money because he died playing for Nigeria in Lagos and what did Nigeria do for his family.

• 10,000 NAIRA Health Insurance.

• Abandoned National Stadium was named after him.

• The then Imo State Governor named a stadium after him. The stadium is an eye sore.

• The National Assembly in 2017 promised to take care of his family but till date....Nothing!

He has an 81year old mother that saved everything she had to train him but lost him to Nigeria.

The National Anthem says..."The Labour Of Our Heroes Past Shall NEVER Be In Vain..."

It looks like his would be in vain as the promises the president made 58years ago has not been met.

His Name Is SAMUEL SOCHUKWUMA OKWARAJI

He was born today 19th May 1964 and he died of "Cardiac Arrest" (Expect A Thread On That..) playing for Nigeria.

He is a HERO
He was a NATIONAL AMBASSADOR

And I just hope and pray our leaders do the RIGHT thing.

Keep Resting In Peace.

SportsRe: Osimhen Taken In For Random Dope Test After Cameroun Game by Bobbyjay001(m): 3:11am On Jan 29, 2024
cyrusmillz:
As much as I love Osimhen and I believe he's a good player now doubt. But I still don't get the hype TBH.

To me ,he hasn't been on par with previous Africa's best. The likes of Salah, Mane and Yaya... He maybe he's the best the continent has to offer for now (based on his Napoli form) but they should just tone down on the hype. Even his performance so far at this AFCON is pretty poor if we are being honest with ourselves.

Can't wait to see you at Chelsea next season (with a new coach )
being African best doesn't mean he must score goals. His movement and tactics alone on and off ball speak alot.

Tohsynetita1:
nvestment in Farming is good but I will advise you not to partner with anyone. Do it by yourself. If you don't know how to go about it, go and learn it. look for farmers in your areas and learn from them. Also, so as not to lose money if something goes wrong, do something you can use like 200k to get million in months, there are several crops that could give you that. Crops like watermelon, ginger, castor, sunflower, jathropha. An acre of ginger will cost around 300k to grow and an acre can give five tonnes. A tonnes was sold in Kano by a friend at 4m last month. that's around 20m within 6 months. So, my advice for you is to do a Farming that won't really gulp your money. At most 10 percent of your money is okay. Also, don't do too long to mature crops. At most, 6 months crops is okay. Other crops listed are very costly recently. But I just cited that of ginger.
can ginger watermelon be Successfully grown in the southwest?
