Who else observed all the goal.com articles do not have comments and there is no observable allowance to comment. It's obviously not a big deal.

OAU has had at least 4.94 if I'm correct.

mr. Benjamin:
Thank you so much sir for helping me out, I do appreciate.
There is this other one that am yet to be cleared of; I called one professional Accountant whose number I came across in the cause of chatting like this and he told me that after my registration, the forms that I print out from the net couple with other document will have to be taken to Lagos for submission and processing. My question now is this, apart from Lagos is there no other place in Abuja that I can submit my forms and other document after registration?. My reason being that Lagos is too far from where I am doing my NYSC, but Abuja is nearer. Pls I need u to help me out.

It is likely ICAN has a liaison office in Jigawa, albeit small. However, if there is none there, surely you will find in one of the neighbouring states. Although you will need to pay a little amount of money.
Try to contact any chartered accountant or ICAN student where you are. He/she would likely know where the nearest office is.
And surely, you can submit it in Abuja.
Career / Re: Accountants In The House..help by bobbyL(m): 7:41am On Sep 04, 2013
Yes you can, and not from ATS. As a graduate, you can begin from foundation. Better still go to the ICAN website, www.icanig.org and try to gather as much info as you can.

Uyi Iredia:

That is for a valid reason. The logic is that emotional (even sexual) maturity must be attained before entering an environment like a university. My mum stressed this and I quite agree since to some extent this was my undoing in secondary school. 11 found me entering JSS3 with parebnts sad and quite used to having poor grades from my former usual 1st position in primary school. I simply didn't handle bullying as well as my mates who were quite older or my age and more experienced did. To be candid Nigerian universities have actually entertained youngsters in their early to late teens who were very bright but lost their way in the university since the couldn't handle all sorts of mindsets they encountered and since they were susceptible to peer pressure. We see this in child soldiers in Africa who are toughened up in an aspect at a young age some sho grow wayward and develop moral apathy. There is such a thing as emotional intelligence and if this kid doesn't have that balance, his genius will be for nothing.
I think you are right. Some of these child prodigies do not end up living up to societal expectations. I pray his case is different.
Also, it's good to note that being a prodigy aka whizkid does not necessarily mean ultimate mental superiority. Another chap who matures mentally at the normal rate, may end up smarter than a prodigy. E.g.,............., fill in the gap.

Haba, may God forgive them. Attacking defenseless people in that manner. To all the churches, fear not and be not dismayed. "In the world, ye shall have tribulation, but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world".

The churches should report to appropriate authorities, but please do not repay evil with evil, although it's difficult, try to show love. The Lord is your strength.

OROZONE:
I feel so honored to be the first
comment. All of my hard work and
dedication has paid off. Getting the
top comment has been a dream of
mine for many years, and I would like
to thank those who have helped me
along the way. First and foremost I
would like to thank god for giving me
this opportunity. Next I would like to
thank my parents. I would also like to
thank my pet tadpole for surviving
against all odds for over a week. Next
I would like to thank the squirrel that
lives in my backyard for climbing
trees because that gives me
inspiration that I need to get through
the day. This is a special moment in
my life and I would like to thank any
of my unmentioned friends and
family that have helped me along the
way. This moment will be a moment
that I will never forget. I just
remembered a few other people I
would like to thank; facebook, the fish
I caught in the third grade, my light in
my room because I wouldn’t be able
to see the keyboard without it, the
internet for letting me go on
facebook, my house because without
it I would be homeless, and last but
not least I would like to thank all the
people out there that actually took
time out of their day to read this. I
cannot stress how much of a big deal
to me this is. I have been trying to be
the first comment on a post for years,
but that has not been possible until
this amazing day. Hopefully my good
luck will continue, but this is
undoubtedly a rare occasion. If you
asked me how I did this, I would say,
you can achieve anything you set
your mind on. To all the kids out there
reading this, I would like to tell them
to follow their dreams. Being the top
comment is amazing, Thank You
Everyone!!!
Yours is just a very funny case. Did you actually expect people to wait for you to finish typing your vote of thanks before they comment?

Religion / Re: Rosary No More!! Why I Stopped Praying The Rosary!! by bobbyL(m): 1:21am On Aug 19, 2013
I think we can use some logic to refute this mother and only true church stuff.

(1) The RCC cannot be the mother of all churches. I believe the first church was in the upper room at Jerusalem. Persecution drove them out and farther into the Roman empire and also fulfilling the great commission of going into all the world made many to go out.
The RCC may be the oldest existing organised group of believers in Christ, but I believe there were many other groups of christians with little or no ties to the RCC.

(2) That the RCC "compiled" the bible, which is challenged in some quarters, is no conclusive proof she is forever right. Aaron was the high priest in Isreal, yet he led them into idolatry although he was influenced. Balaam, though God spoke to him and related to him, caused the Isrealites to sin and he eventually paid for it. Elijah passed on the mantle to Elisha, Gehazi messed up and missed it.
The RCC likely, in fact, I can say surely started well on the bases of apostolic teaching. However, subsequent generations began to dilute God's word and commands for selfish reasons. Teaching doctrines of men. They became lovers of pleasure more than lovers of God. She began to marry church and politics, Christian and pagan practices, just to avoid persecution and gain greater temporal and unfortunately temporary power. Whereas, the church before then has been a victim and almost had a tradition of persecution.
Unfortunately, protestant churches are making similar errors, telling people what they want to hear, teaching false doctrines, to satisfy the flesh/belly and not God. I guess that's why power of the Holy Spirit is missing in many churches today.

(3) Those who say the Holy Spirit is the guide of the RCC and so every action she takes and decision she makes is right, should reconsider their position.
Can the Holy Spirit be wrong?
Christ obviously can't be wrong either.

So, from where did the guidance for the following come.
-Burning of heretics at the stake and other punishments and executions.
-Infallibility of the pope, when even peter was corrected by paul.
-Opposition to the idea that the sun is at the centre of our universe, to the extent of branding proponents heretics.

These are just a few, others are highly likely to engender endless arguments.

Mistakes by the RCC should let you know she is not perfect. If she can go wrong on some counts, how sure are you she isn't wrong on many?
