Atiku has diminished his chances further with the choice of Okowa.
This is an average-poor performing governor with no strategic pull to win votes for him in the SEast nor South South.
Okowa cannot pull electorates with a mind of their own to vote PDP in the SEast and doesn't have the governors in the SSouth to release funds and do their usual vote buying and voting by intimidation in the SSouth,so of what electoral value is he?

With all due respect Wike brought all this on himself. He picked unnecessary fight with governors from the South and middle blet, including Obaseki, Ortom, Umahi etc. He banged on Peter Obi head , who did nothing to him. I am sure if he could have pulled more sympathy votes from the South.
