My neighbours.
Wife stood outside and was repeatedly calling "Baby!" at the top of her voice, apparently asking her husband (who was inside the house) to come outside.

Sounded awkward to me.

Nah! Results could be obtained same day bro. i just posted it some posts above. . . .validate tomorrow and come confirm

cheers cool

Yeah, thanks for the correction. One can actually get the results on the same day.

The issuance and settlement processes are actually what take place on Thursday.

But the fact remains that the entire exercise of auction; issuance of letters & settlements are done across two days (Wednesday, Thursday).
And that explains why you see some people 'randomly' quoting the dates for Wednesdays or Thursdays.

Please note, kristien4.

kristien4:

I thought it was 5th November? ?

You're partially right.

The auction holds today (4th Nov. 2015) but the conclusive report wouldn't be out (usually) until tomorrow (5th Nov. 2015).

So, tentatively, we can put that the next bidding would hold between Wed. 18th Nov.2015 and Thur. 19th Nov.2015. But to get in, you table your bid request latest by Tuesday 17th Nov.2015.

Interesting. Having a blog where you can post class notes will help. This thread can afford you that opportunity too.
Just seeing you & bloglover typing all those symbols up there is intimidating enough. grin

Mayflower SSH...we used them so well then...listening to radio & playing music...and over night 'jacking' (gboru) grin

Then, at a time, the hostel authority thought they were a source of distraction, hence, started confiscating them.

The only ones that were spared were the types with just light & no other functionality.

Has anyone ever mistakenly pushed the wrong switch, setting off the siren at midnight before? grin

Thanks...but how do i locate there after getting to Wyse?

Regards.

When you get to Wyse, especially during the lecture hours on weekends, just ask anybody for direction to MacEbony bookshop. I don't think it would be that difficult to locate.

Thanks alot. I really appreciate. I visited most of the book stores at Ojuelegba/Yaba but none seemed to have any.

Pls, kindly recommend a book store(s) where i can get it.

Regards.

It's a great pleasure.

You can check MacEbony bookshop at Maryland. That's about the most popular bookshop serving the students at Wyse.

Education / Re: How I Graduated With A Cumulative GPA Of 4.02. My Mistakes, My Lessons. by Boblanre: 4:31pm On Jan 04, 2015
Engrtemmy:
I can never forget the first question I asked Nonso, "Guy, how una tey dey do am?" "Na the same thing we dey read na"

Nonso replied, "Bros na God o". I wasn't satisfied with the response so I probed harder.

Nonso told me about a particular course whereby he answered just four questions out of 5. He had an A. I answered all the five questions correctly and I had a B.

That was my first lesson.

It is not just enough to read, it's more important to read the right things and it's not just enough to answer all questions in the exam hall, it's more important to answer the ones you do perfectly well

Secondly, I noticed Nonso had no girlfriend. That was my second lesson.

Whether you'll like to hear this or not, to come out in flying colours in school, you need to forget about girls and vice-versa

Thirdly, I discovered Nonso read a whole lot. I felt I read in my 400L only for Nonso to tell me how hard he read. That was my third lesson

There's no short cut to success. That dude who always has the best result in class does no magic. He simply reads and spends lots of hours burning midnight candles[

Armed with those three lessons, I was on a mission to ensure I graduate with a 2.1 only for me to bump into a discussion where some guys were talking about scholarships for masters.

According to them, It's much more easier getting those scholarship when one graduates with a CGPA of 4.0 and above.

I went home and like fans of the super eagles, I started punching my calculator. cheesy I wanted to see if it was mathematically possible for me to still make a 4.0. After my calculations, I discovered I needed a 4.67 in my final year to make it. cheesy

At first, it looked quite impossible. Afterall, I had only managed to make a 2.1 once which was even low. How on earth do I intend having a GPA of 4.67?

I vowed to try everything within my might to make it against all odds.

Truly, there can be no paean without pain.
One has to make sacrifices to get up there.

And the joy of victory far outweighs the stress of achieving it.

Good one op.

AULD LANG SYNE

Should auld acquaintance be forgot,
And never brought to mind?
Should auld acquaintance be forgot,
And days of auld lang syne?

For auld lang syne, my dear,
For auld lang syne,
We'll take a cup o' kindness yet,
For auld lang syne.

1.
I shall pass through this world but once,
Any good thing I can do,
Any kindness I can show,
To any woman or man alive,
Let me do it now.

Chorus:
Let me do it now,
Let me not defer,
Clet me not defer ooo)
Let me not neglect it...
For I shall never ever,
For I shall never ever,
For I shall never pass this way again.

2.
I shall wade though life's seas but once,
Any valiant thing to dare,
Any sacrifice to make,
To prove my worth to humanity,
Let me do it now.

(Chorus)

3.
I have just
This chance for the contest,
Never again will it come back,
This is the chance no turning back,
To show my grit and win the laurel,
Let me do it now.

(Chorus)
