SLIDEwaxie:Slidewax Well, for ur information, the command and control approach of ur mentor does not work in an integrated hetrogeneous society with a democratic system of govt. like ours. Your dullard president has shown to be the most ureasonable and uneducatable person in the history of human existence. What he is doing now is exactely thesame activities that ousted him from office in 1985, yet no lessons learnt. A fool they say, is one who strikes his foot against a stone twice. He has no qualities to be a democratic leader, therefore, has no business remaining in that office. Things will only get worse with his kind of approach to issues, because in a democratic dispensation, you have rules and regulations that must be obeyed by all and sundry. Be you president, governor or king upon your throne. If you can not obey the democratic principles that elected you into office, then you are a hypocrite and have no business with leadership in a democratic society. Wear your thinking cap. |

Politics / Buhari's Budget Speech And Leadership Qualities by BobNeli(m): 9:19am On May 07, 2016 |
Lastly, the much awaited 2016 fiscal year budget has received the aproval and signature of mr president, General Muhammadu Buhari. With a speech that seek to rubbish the contributions of his predecessor, and I quote. "I ALLOCATED N200 BILLION TO ROADS REHABILITATION AS AGAINST THE PALTRY N18 BILLION ALLOCATED BY GOODLUCK JONATHAN." by this comment, he meant to convince Nigerians that his predecessor, former president Goodluck Jonathan was not capital-project oriented. However, the eyes have had it of all the roads and infractstructural inputes of the Goodluck led administration. Both in rail and what have you, even with the paltry sum, as him, the present leader has acknowledged. Hence, it is left for us now to see how much input this huge allocation to roads rehabilition and general infractstructral development of the president Mohammadu Buhari led administration budget can acheive. And lets hope there will not be any more excuses or blame game to trail the implementaion and propper management of this hudge budget. Progress Nigeria. |

We are living in a country where policies destroy economy, hospitals destroys health, schools destroy education and main stream media destroys information. Where lies the hope of a Nation in which its media lacks intelectual report of events. Or could it be that the so called media is under the pockets of the leadership? Or how can someone explain the meaning of this caption "PRESIDENCY RUBBISHES OBY EZEKWESILI'S ECONOMIC VIEWS OF PRESIDENT BUHARI," to mean what it actually sought to explain. Well, I went through what the media termed 'Rubishing' and saw no single point from the statement purported to come from the Vice president (Osibanjo) himself, that rubished the cogent points raised by the renowned economist. 1 Like |

abduljabbar4:That's one of the icons of the zombies. But before u think u are in any way reasonable, read this. "Since the begining of the 2016 budget process, it is clear that the national assembly has suffered all manners of falsehood, deliberate distortion of facts and outright blackmail. Deliberatly aimed at poisining the minds of the people against the institution of the National assembly. Even when the original submision of the budget was surreptitiously swapped and we ended up having two versions of of the budget that was almost incomprehensible and heavily parded in a manner that shows incompetence and lack of coordination." those were the words of senator Aliyu Sabi Abdulahi. The chairman senate committee on media and public affairs. Who was he refering to? Me, The previous administration that had always been pointed accusing fingers on or the president of the federal republic of Nigeria whose duty it is to tender the budget for a fiscal year? ......... We are talking about, after 10 good months of assuming office, the national budget upon which the faith of the Nation lies, just like all the elections having been conducted under this present administration has suffere inconclusiveness. But am not amazed because those are the aftermaths of inconclussive WAEC certificate holder, being your leader. Well, in my opinion, I think wailers are a group of visionable and librated minds, yearning for rational, purposefull and progressive leadership. Because I can recall vividly, the name# associated with one of the wold's greatest freedom fighter of all times, 'BOB MARLEY AND THE WAILLERS'. It's obvious that this man through his numerous musical wailling, changed mentalities of several world governments and brought about positive change, thereby changing the face of the world to a commendable extent. That is what the voice of wailling can achieve. However, the other group called 'ZOMBIES,' by definition, refers to a person or group of persons who seems only partially alive without any understanding of what is happening around him/her. It is synanymous to 'a dead body being made alive again by magic, which remains passive and have no intrest in the activities of the living'..............But that's just not my point, lets butress the facts. (1) one of the most adroit and true maxims of the sooth sayers have it that 'A fool is not one whom you can deceive once, but an one you can deceive as many times as you want'........ During the campaign era, I remember one of the quotes of the previous president who said..... 'that Nigerians have a choice to make between moving on from here with a progressive transformation, and going back to the visions of the 1980s.' And what did we choose? We choosed old and used-up brains, against young and inovative mind. We choosed myopic-sight against fore-sight. We choosed two birds in the bush against one worthwile at hand. We choosed lies against vissible truths. We choosed a dullard without a proven certificate of educational qualification against a Phd holder. We all joined the bandwagon and like zombies, shouted a pregant change without recours to reason, what it might give birth to........ Well, if as a matter of fact, we have been scammed by a bunch of power intoxicated group who had no plans on ground before promising a change. And whose ineptitude as a result of their umpreparedness has plunged the Nation into the most critical condition ever witnessed in the history of our existence. Isn't it better we dropped our ego and face the reality........ Indeed we know it is very dificult to convince a man who had earlier adopted a notion as true, against such notion. Not because we have no enough facts to convince him, but for his pride and sense of importance, even if we shoot his arguements full of holes and prove it beyond any reasonable doubt. His ego and pride remain his driving force, we can not defeat........ As it stands now, Nigerians know that they have been scamed but the population of the change mantra, bereft of facts to defend their beliefs, now resort to name calling.... Like 'waillers' to discredit those with facts about the failure of their mentor. While the vissionable waillers, like BOB Marley became forced to beleive that this other group are nothing but dead bodies walking, and without reasoning faculties. Therefore refer to them as 'ZOMBIES'........ So it's left for anyone, which group to belong to. Waillers or Zombies'. As for me and my family we stand for vission and progress. I'd better be visionable wailer than a zombie. 6 Likes |
Politics / Re: Buhari Agenda On National Grazing Reserve Bill. SS, NC, SE Should Wake Up by BobNeli(m): 11:10am On Apr 11, 2016 |
If care is not taking, Buhari might subject this hetrogeneous entity into war with his tribalistic rulership style. You are barning importation of certain items into the country when its obvious we can not produce such items here in Nigeria on our own. Simply because it so easy for to do knowing that Igbo business men are the ones afected. However, now you want to give your tribe's business culture every opportunity to thrive even at the expence of other people's rights of inheritance. Why should there be any such Bill as giving the Fulanis a compulsory grazing accomodation in a 21st century economy, when anyone intending for any business must on his own, provide facilities to establish his investiment upon? The Fulanis must acquire lands under the land act law and establish them as ranches for their business. Otherwise there will be rampage 1 Like |

divinehand2003:Wel, fellow compatriot, you are entitled to your opinion of who makes ur true leader. So I may not have the right to stand here and overide your humble and sincere opinion if you aint in any way sentimentally influenced. However, I do not base my opinions on speculations rather than facts and figures. Thank God you made mention of Him making promises he could not fulfil due to negetive conditions. My question for you here is ' were those promises made just as a means for grabingpower?' What's the essense of making promises you do not have the resources to meet? You made the whole Nation believe that someone who was capable and was actually doing something, was not doing anything. Under the pretence of bogus promises which you knew were unachievable. What excuse have you then to redeem your image as a man of his words? But in any case, I want to categorically let you know that the unfavourable conditions you are pointimg acusing fingers on, are not the reasons this inconsequential administration failed. They failed because they grew big teeth without coresponding big lips to cover them. They failed because empty vesels make the most noise. They failed because they lack the requisite ability to pilot the affairs of a complex and hetrogenious enclave like Nigeria. And most importantly, they failed becuase Buhari himself, even as a young general in 1984 lacked the charisima to govern talkless of now that he almost a body parabulating this unbounded continium with depreciated brains synonymous with old age. Need I tell you that he is more confused than his cattles which might have been asking why on earth would this man who was unable to take adequate care of us as a shephered ever dream of taking a bigger responsibility like managing the afairs of a population of over 200milion people. My brother get it straight that Buhari has grounded this economy by his actions and inactions. Not becuase oil price drop. Nigeria is not the only Nation affected. Why are we the most disadvantaged? When a president desided to run an economy as big as Nigeria's for good 6months without a single minister, what were you expecting? When he started implementing policies he did not draft and therefore could not understand the under lying principles.... Like the treasury single account, what did you expect? When he refused to be reasonable, rather gave inernational investors reasons to pull out of the economy, what were you expecting? Nigeria will only live to appreciate Goodluck Jonathan sooner or later |

Politics / True Leaders Are Known By Keeping Their Words by BobNeli(m): 5:11pm On Apr 09, 2016 |
I can remember vividly, the words of Martin Luther King which formed a master piece of public speech. 'I HAVE A DREAM'. Those were the words of a true leader who stood for what he believed in and by deligence, brought the American racial differences to a considerable hult. Another true leader emerged from Nigeria who once said 'MY AMBITIONS ARE NOT WORTH THE BLOOD OF ANY NIGERIAN'. Did he stand for it? Yes! He did. And by his ouster from the presidential race. He has been more than appreciated because his successor who thought quotes are for pleasure, has on all fronts failed his allies, even in his infamous qoute. 'I AM NOT FOR ANYBODY, I AM FOR EVERYBODY'. Today all we see is witchunting of opposition party members, Silence on panamapaper leak. Compensation of allies like Amechi and Fashola, by the merger of ministries already yearning for adequate attension into one thereby creating impossibilities for such adequate management of such ministries, only in a bid to compensate some groups of individuals at the expence of the rest 200million population. Today what do we have on the table? No electricity, no infractstructural developement, no petroleum, no favourable financial policies to aid our course, selective persecution, rading of the enemy camp. None fruitful and undesirable travels. Over inflated budget with a deficit of morethan N2trillion to be borrowed. No direction, no vission. The only thing we can boast of the present administration is, Denial of campaign promises and blame game. Goodluck Jonathan is yet to be remebered. |

Politics / The Numerous Achievements Of President Buhari So Far by BobNeli(m): 1:03pm On Apr 04, 2016 |
Nigerians are a bunch of ungrateful humans. Whilst mr president strives as much as no president ever in the history of world leadership, to better the lots of 95% as against 5% which is the largest qouta of a population ever to have been targeted by a leader. Nigerians fail to appreciate. (2) This is the one and only president to have brought Nigeria to the Guiness book of records. 'The longest quee at filling stations for petroleum products.' At least, Nigerians can now be proud of entering into the guiness book of records. (3) Mr president, by his apt economic managerial prowess, tried, at least he tried running the country under sole administratorship for 6 good months. Although for whatever reason, I dont know, but I think it was in the intrest of the 95%, to curtail administrative wages per say. Since one can not come out bodly and say that such period was a period of massive looting. In a ny case, I am not intrested in what happened then, I am only here to enumerate on the cheer dividends of such actions as have been indulged by mr president since assuming office. Hence, its obivious that that single act was enouf to accomplish the overiding manifesto of the APC led govt. 'CHANGE' the ultimate change mr president and his party promised was accomplished, in that the Nigerian economy was grounded and the usual way of doing things changed. The importation of toot-pick was abolished to make way for the importation of grasses. The price dollar was pegged and sanctions placed in other to remove exchange business from the official market to black market. The subsidy scam was removed in the face of the high cost of dollar. Making it almost impossible for importers to go to market, thereby creating the amount of scarcity that only those who wander in deserts in search of water can best imagine than explain. However, the Consequential achievement in this is that it also threw the market for petroleum products to the black market where the operators can decide the price without recourse to reason. A liter of fuel now can sale as high as N500.00 These things are good for Nigeri. Are they not? (4) another prominent achievement of our stan looking president is that he has successfully converted the govement house to an air fleet. So that hovering above in the skies, he will be able to see all the corruption going on under his height. To mention but a few. Pls, lets support our president with all our mights. He has a good vission to fly this ship as aircraft eventhough without wings. The only thing we need be weary of is cratching. |
