Religion / Re: Who Should Be Held Responsible For The Collapsed Synagogue Church Building? by BobNeli(m): 9:40am On Sep 17, 2014
Sarassin: In the first instance, none of the people who lost their lives in the collapse should have been there were it not for the lure and promise of fake miracles and healings as promised by the reprehensible T.B. Joshua. No prophetic powers are required to deduce that a building will eventually collapse if not properly supported. In serious countries he would be facing murder charges right now, but in Nigeria......he gets a photo-op with the Governor, afterall it is religion, "touch not my....." and all that rubbish. We should spare a thought for those who lost their lives, and hope T.B. Joshua is held fully accountable. What a tragedy all in the name of charlatanry.
But it has not yet been established that the building foundations are not certified to carry it. We realy need little time atimes to arrive at our conclucsions. So many people in the past had been left to shit their words for such rash conclucsions. These things you see, called misfortunes, they are no respecter of persons. Sometimes, they come to test faiths. Somebody in your manner of judgement, would have spat in Job's face as things went sour for him. With the accusation that he was deceiving people whilst his beds were roses. Remember, he lost all his wealth. All his children died. His wives left him. Sickness all over his body. Lost his entire reputation. It was a test of faith. Slow down a litlle bit my brother. It may not be what you think after all.

NIGERIALOLoCOM:

@ OP, Do we have a business condemning Boko haram atrocities perpetrated in the name of their god? Let me put this way. @ OP, have you ever raised a voice against the calamitous acts of Boko haram jihadists?
My brother, what you have just cited as an example does not substitute for the issue on ground. Your idea here is synanimous with the Jews, who out of suspition, ploted against an innocent Jesus christ and maimed Him, in the name of defending their God. To butress my point. Them the Jews, placed themselves on the judgement seat and perpetrated their evil out of suspition, with unfounded allegations, and maimed an innocent man. Which a good population of them had to regrete after all. Such is the consequence of assuming a position above your status. Now, if you want to compare TB Joshua's case to that of boko haram, u'll find out that. His (TB Joshua) is a case of misfortune or unforseen circumstance that we as humanbeings have not the power to unravel. Therefore, left for God. But in the case of bokoharam, theirs is a facet of thesame problem as the Jews. Who out of ignoracy, perpetrate thesame evil they think they are against. Because, the God they are defending, is against the spilling of blood. That is why diabolic manipulation, has no status in law. But being caught in action, does. Anybody who will seat back to critize another for a misfortune, is only assuming the position of God, who is omniscience. But if a man is caught killing another for whatever reason, he is no longer under accusation nor suspition. Because, he has no right whatsoever, taking laws into his own hands. By the way, what power has anybody, Bokoharam as the case may be, to defend the supreme commander of the universe? Judging another for a misfortune, is like puting oneself in the very shoes of bokoharam who think they have the agility to defend the almighty. Decerning spirit is what we will all pray for. To know where our jurisdiction end. And where God's beggings.

He has tought me to love and care for those I am better than. Not by words buh by character. He has preached to me, the raw gospel of salvation unadultrated. I dnt want to start counting. No one is above life's challenges. Even men of God of old, shared theirs at their own time. Anyway, everybody shall surely die someday. Whether by building collapse or any other means. When once a soul is born, an additional grave is provided. Are u so much afraid of that? May be what u need is a little ammendment in ur ways bro.

Thanks for your correction Banana bender. Actually I may not be good at assay writting my dear. Just cared to drop my point and walk on. Its about time we freed our minds and come out of our emotional cocoons that bring us to hates. Which in turn project us to seizing every little opportunity at our disposal to vent our resentment, admist basking in joy for the misfortunes of those we have envied. Thats just what am against.

I have realized recently that the entire human race is made up of an upper percentage of judges who practically overstep their boundries to meddle in matters that are way beyound their jurisdictions. Those who only succeed in condemning themselves for same things they judge others. Or how can one explain the vituperations arrising from the illogicallities and immaturity of the minds of those who disobey God's instructions by condemning others in a bid to advocate for Him (God). The Bible admonitioned us in clear terms in 1cor.4:5 and I qoute. "Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord come, who both will bring to light , the hidden things of darkness and will make manifest the counsels of hearts and then shall every man have praise of God". If we indeed call ourselves children of God,why then do we ignore the instructions of our father and yet claim to love and walk with Him. And if perchance, we are not His children, of what business is it ours , trying to speak for Him whom we know not. Hence, whether we are christians or atheists, we have no busness condemning others. I'll not drop my pen here without reminding us that we are all mortals and therefore, liable to the same fate of human incapabilities. However, every Gold must yet undergo the fire test to come out clean gold. Abraham, our dear father of faith was never exempted from the challenges of faith. Job, a man in whom the almighty God prided, was not without his own share of faith challenges. John the baptist was behaded by a mere mortal. He could not save himself nor even foresee his death, yet, he prophesied the comming of Our Lord Jesus Christ. Even David, the one and first ever king appointed, anoited and defended by God, faced it also when it was due. Eli was a prophet of the most high God who lived in obidience and prophesied to others but was he able to know his end? Of cause not. He prophesied the comming of Sammuel, however, was unable to prophesy to his own sons that they were going to die at the war front.. It might be pertinent to recall to ourselves here that Prophets are mere instruments in the hands of God. They are not God themselves. Hence they only know what God wants them to know. Whereas, God in His infinite wisdom allow things to be the way are and no one can question His ability. It might be rudiculous to blame and condemn our fellow mortals for things beyound there control. If we are children of God, let us live by His instructions. For the wisdom of man shall fail him. Let's leave judgement to the one and only judge of the law, (God). We are all subjects and keepers, not judges.

nora544: Sorry I watch the video 3 times and the aircraft has nothing to do.

Than in the city i live we must have this every month because sometime the plains have to fly over my city and some big planes go down that you feel they will just hit the next house.

What i see in this video, that shows that something with the building was not okay perhaps they didnot use much steel for the buttless so with the time the building will collaps.

He want that his followers and all nigerian believ this fake story from him.

Every engineer know that without steel you cannot build a house like this. Also when they didnot use much cement and less steel it could happen.
. And were you told then that steel was not used my revered engineer? The premesis are all under thr construction of reputable companies that know better than u want to explain my dear. But why haven't you tried answering the question. Why is it just after the plane hover, that the colapse took place.................? Wear your thinking cap.

Haven't you seen a dibia/babalawo making people rich yet stay in abject penury?

Can you question the dibia/babalawo?
. TB Joshoua is only an instrument in the hands of God. He is not God himself. He only know what God wishes him to know. He does not conjure propheses. If we are christians, we must have also come across the case of Eli under whom Samuel was raised. Same Eli that told Hanna to go home that the Good Lord has answered her prayers. Same Eli who fore-saw the birth of Samuel but was unable to foresee His own children's calamity. Prophets are not gods, they are merely instruments in the hands of the almighty, in whose infinit wisdom, dispatches visions to his own descretion. We must not also forget that subject to thesame fate of human nature, we are all liable to challenges of life. No one is exempted. Job faced it at his own time. Our dear father David did. And so do other men of God world wide over. Term your toungue.

Always try as mush as you can irrespective of what ever grudges you might harbour for your fellow humans, to apply love. None of us according to the scripture has been made a judge unto others. I have seen this man of God, wisely rescued people who were at the brink of beeing lynched by their haters for acusations of things like witch, and integrate them back into the society and made acceptable by those minds that would av only succeded in lynching them just in the manner our Lord Jesus thought us with the case of the sameritan woman. If this person you've become so much convinced in critisizing had found you in his shoes today, he will only love and pray for you instead. Moreover, remember that no one irrespective of level of spirituality is above life's challenges. Even Job, a man after God's heart faced it sometime in his life. David did and so do many other men of God. Eli was a prohet of God recorded in the Bible. But when he was challenged through his sons, he couldnt change things himself. We are all instruments in the hands of God. He uses us just the way he pleases. TB Joshua himself is not God. He only knows what God wants him to know. If He God did not dim it fit to forewarn him concerning the building colapse, it is to the best wisdom of our almighty creator. When Jesus aproached Lazrus' grave and everyone was crying, He only said that "This happened so that the name of God will be glorified". Who knows, lets get to know the mind and intent of God for letting such happen my dear, but dont be a judge

I really do not like meddling into religious dialogues. It kinda makes you say things you do not want to say. Is better we live it that way
. If there's a true man of God in this part of our world, it is prohet TB Joshua. The Bible made it clear that we should know everyone by their fruits. The manner and conduct of the said man of God is undisputably in accordance with what is espected of a true servant of God. However, we must always be abreast of the fact that no one irrespective of our level of sprituality, is above life's challenges. Job, who was a man after God's heart faced his at his own time. David the anointed king of Isreal had to write psalm 51 at the face of his own challenges when they came. As far as we are yet operating in human capacity, no one is excluded from life's challenges. Even him Prophet TB Joshua used to say that God has not promised us a life free of challenges, but He has promised to see us through them all. So lets not rush into conclucsions. We will see and know hw God will clear His servants face. Amen!

As two able bodied fierce-looking men on arms approached him and demanded for his driver's license. The driver just broke into tears. Confused as they were, one of the police men in a harsh voice commanded him to alight from the car and tender his license. But instead, the guy let more tears roll down his cheecks. At this point, one of the almost boilling police men, unable to suppress his anger any longer said. "mr man! Come down from that car or I will be forced to force u out. Now the guy raised his face and told the police men. "I am a patriotic citizen and I love my father land". "And so what" asked the police men. The driver said. " I dont want to spread it." U dont want to spread what?" asked the police men. "Please dont touch me, I have Ebola virus." before he looke up again, the police men were on their heels. The gentle man smiled and drove away

Her father being a very rich man, was coming home one day and met a strange situation in his house. The wife and the chief warden were having their time together and all of a sudden, as the man entered, they were stack naked. Well, the wife employed her woman power to convince her husband that the chief wardden was trying to rape her. Out of rage, the man mercilessly dealth with and threw the warden to the streets without a single pin from his many years of meritorious services to the house hold. And now, the warden being utterly frustrated without a granteed future, since he has wasted his youthful years in vein-services, decided to joing a kidnap syndicate, only with a view to cut his own pound of flesh from the family that has used and dumped him. His sole target being to kidnap the one and only hire-apparent to the family wealth, the princess. He succeeded. And after two weeks of the princess in the custody of the kidnapers, the rich man payed N20 million for her release. But the criminals having collected their ransome, decided to eliminate the princess in other to cover up their identities, since she has been with them for two whole weeks. But there was a twist of fortune. One of the criminals who has fallen in love with the princess was saddled with the responsibility of carying out the task. And instead of killing her now, he helped her escape, while reporting to the group for a successful job done. The princess has equally fallen in love with this criminal but the problem now is. 1; A special one is a bundle of talents with a price tag. U can't get him at anything less than 13 million pounds a year. But a chosen one is just there to fill the gap. U know, when the possibility is not available; the availability becomes possible. So u can afford him as sheap as the cost of two sparows. 2; a special one is inteligent and tactcally minded but a chosen one is mindless. He can play a stricker in the mid-field and vice versa. All he makes sure, is to prosecute the match. Loose or win. 3; it's hard for a special one to conceed three straight loose but a chosen one can take even 4-5 without minding. 4; a special one, atleast tries to maintain an unbeaten home record but u can go to a chosen one's back yard and pick as many points as u like. Even 9 points in 3 games. The list is inexhaustible but pls, this is morning, and I have some house chores to attend to. So pls, see u guys later in the day for proper discusion of the topic so that u'll know who to sign when next u are saddled with the responsibility of filling an important managerial gap. Thank u.

It is easier to match ur benefactor in time of need, strength for strenght after gainining ur fredom than to appreciate and accord him the necessary honour because u now think that u have no need of him any longer. It is easier to look down on someone whom u looked up to for help while in the pit and as he stretched his helping hands, u quickely accepted than appreciate him whilst out ur distress because u dnt want to c him as ur superior. However, it takes only the wise to realize never to bite the finger that fed them because the future is pregnant. If South Africans can acknowledge the fact that Nigeria accepted, nutured and gave them back one of their illustrous sons and leading presdents in Mbeki. What else is there to do for an ungrateful generation. Well, what I can make out of this whole dramer is the mental slavery of a people who are just but phisically emancipated. It has been said that if you can look at something and see just what every one else sees, you're so much a product of your culture that you are equally a victim of it. If the Notherners, irrespective of position or social status cannot come out of this mental slavery they are beeing subjected to by their so called religion. Then, they can never be better than the victims of it. A principle that naturally deprive women the right to education. A principle that hate western education and yet uses western technology to fight its course. A principle that encourages alms-begging and mandates one man to 4 wifes even if he is not able to take adequate care of one. A principle that deprives children right to parental cares and proper up bringing. Well, but the truth remains that their elites, like the writter properly mentioned, seeing an opportunity to hold their subjects at ransom, decided to keep mute and blind eyes to all the retrogressive consequences these anti-social practices potend to the entire land scape of the North. One can draw infrences from the fact that despite that Nigeria has been governed mainly by the North in the last fifty years. Pumping more money and resources into that region. The south- easterners, left detitute after the war have still progressed morethan them. Am concerned about this because the activities and regious fanatism in the North is really taking our great nation backwards. Time to wake up.
Politics / Re: Ribadu, Sanusi, El-rufai And Northern Muslims Under Fire. by BobNeli(m): 12:00pm On Dec 09, 2013
Immancipation from mental slavery, religious bigotry and cultural victimization is the major development the North needs now. Infracstructural and other developments should follow later. Because, I do not see any need wasting the scarce resources on a people that are anti-civilization and development. The writter is quite on point because it takes a great mind to bring about a change. If Nelson Mandella could librate the whole nation os South Africa from slavery and aparthy. How much more the collective efforts of the afore mentioned? Total greatness is not in following other's legacies. It is rather in creating a lagacy for others to follow. Sanusi has not been the only governor of Central bank and when He passes on, will be forgoten like his predecessors. I do not think Nelson Mandella will be so forgoten. But it depends on what the individual wants to achieve for himself any way.
