It is the will of God for us to increase and multiply upon the face of the earth. Hence, overpopulation is not a problem with God. *****
What seemingly seems to be unpalatable experience may be God's plan for us to give us 'a future and a hope' *****
God answers pertinent and heart-felt prayers for example Hannah, he surely answers those who diligently seek him. *****
False prophets will certainly be punished by God. |

- Jesus Christ indeed rose from the dead. An angel with angelic messages, the women, the 11 disciples and the watchers of the tomb(soldiers) are all witnesses. The unbelieving Jews could only come up with a conspiracy theory to invalidate the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ rose from the dead! it is not debatable. *****
Dirty politics have been existing even during the time of Jesus so it isn't really a big deal or something to go emotional about. ***** All power in heaven and earth has been given to Jesus. ***** The mandate that was given Matthew 28:19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: 28:20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen. |

Repentance averts the consequences of sin, for example, Jonah and the people of Nineveh.
'death and life are in the power of the tongue' Jeremiah helped himself by using his tongue alright and without compromising God's standard and he was spared. God gave him a wisdom and a mouth Luke 21:15 For I will give you a mouth and wisdom, which all your adversaries shall not be able to gainsay nor resist. Abigail's mouth and wisdom saved the life of her husband(at least for awhile) |

God's praises should be from morn till even 'from the rising of the sun till its setting' Praise him always, praise him all the time for his greatness, for his mercies and for his marvelous and miraculous deeds. Omuha: You may pray against the success of his evil works, but not against the man himself. Rather you pray that the Father of light may touch him & lead him aright & you show him as much love as you possibly can that from your own deeds he may appreciate what it is to love all. Yea, correct! |
Romance › Re: EXPOSED: Reason For Increasing No Of Single Ladies In Nigeria & The Solution by bodee(m): 11:22pm On Sep 28, 2015 |
naijacutee: I think that nobody male or female should be pressured into a lifetime commitment because of age, peers or poverty. Marriage remains a choice, not an obligation. People are free to marry and not to marry and even the Bible supports this. These ideals put out by people are purely cultural and there should be no shame in being single out of choice, for the rest of one's life. Life is too short to make lifetime commitments to please people who will not be there during the tough times. hmmn, quite true, but the bible says it is better to marry than to burn(sexual feeling). Please how will you justify these assertions? Thanks. |

The "no job" story was a decoy he used to deceive ppl he carried in keke who were marvelled at his English accent. He told them that to cover up so they won't know what he was up to.

Hope my summary helped u. Now say thank u Yea, especially that part that he did not collect money from his passengers. #winks funkiebully: [s][/s]

Pls don't join the emotionally laden bad wagoners. Also, I am not of the view that he became a napep rider because he gave out his hotel and became poor. I am actually against his show-glass life and pride talks #his Oxford accent, #peoples admiration and sympathy for him# What's he feeling like? deanoffaculty: @OP......do you have any Job waiting for you after your Msc? I will just advice you to grab the opportunity at hand and it will eventually open up better opportunities for you and exposure. Most companies these days are looking for your work experience and not always the certificate you have. What if you have your Msc and no work experience. Start with the 60k job offer and don't despise the days of little beginning. 60k is a just a start up salary, the company can increase it later and you can apply for study leave later in the company......depending on the type of company and what they do. Also consider your age, the competition to get job opportunity these days and where you are going in life. Even the Msc you are going for......do you have any sponsor? if yes, you can go for it: if no, think twice and plan your life very well cos responsibilities will soon be knocking at your door . Work, earn and have experience. Hundreds of MSC holders are roaming about the street too. You can still plan for your Msc next year....it's never too late and DEM NO DEY CATCH LATE COMER! It all depends on your choice. Ultimately, pray and ask God for direction and don't see Msc as a safe Haven for you to get Job. I pray that every step you take shall lead you greater heights IJN. Cheers!!! Amen and me too. I am the 10th person that liked your post, |

We need to give thanks because 1. He is good 2. His mercies endure forever. In troubles, shame, failures, hunger, thirst, sorrow, pain, disease, fear and poverty, we need to cry unto God and he will certainly deliver us. Even the righteous ones face the ill nature of life ' for many are the afflictions of the righteous but the Lord will deliver him out of them all, he keeps his bones that not one of them is broken' because 'his mercies endures forever' Crying out into God brings deliverance. **** Although disobedience and sin can be the cause of afflictions and distresses. If you allow transgressions/iniquities to keep you down, then you are a Fool. ***** Emotional cries unto God brings God mercies. Never give up irrespective of the circumstances even at your 'wit end' for his mercies certainly endure. ***** We need to praise God and declare his good works. Also, in the congregation of his people. Our testimonies must be based on God's mighty power and mercies and not on our intelligence/skills. |
Education › Re: At What Point Can We Say That One Is Educated? by bodee(m): 6:56pm On Sep 25, 2015 |
wunderkiind: Not every graduate is actually educated in the real sense...
And a high school cert holder might be qualified enough to be referred to as a very educated fellow, it all depends on the way you look at it...
Nowadays that it is very possible to get degrees without even being in a classroom, I.e online, the world is Changing but people don't wanna change with it.
The truth is, you may decide to go to a tertiary institution for 4 or more years after which you get a certificate, and someone else on the other hand, studies the same thing as you, all the books, theory, practicals, etc and even more for the same number of years as you, outside the four walls of a classroom, only doesn't get a certificate, would you then say you are more educated than such a fellow? Obviously not. It wouldn'f be right at all to say such. Not everyone without a 'degree' is uneducated, and vice versa!
So, to answer the question at hand, you have to first of all understand that education in itself is an unending process, i.e a continium, so anyone without the ability to learn, unlearn, and relearn can not be truly educated. Therefore, when one has acquired the fundamental learning skills, a good appetite for true knowledge, information and, understanding, the ability to inspire and impart information to help others effectively, and to use one's education to improve oneself and others, then at this point it can then be rightly said that one is educated. well said! |

HaneefahRN: Lolz, all this funny 'most difficult courses' and all. I blive difficulty of a course is relative, what is difficult for some1 can be a walk in the pack for others. Ever course can be difficult or ese, depends on ur approach, read well, be focused and ask questions and u will be better. And besides u av to go through that course to know whether it's actually difficult 'for u' or not. From my own POV, I would say Engineering courses, physics, biochemistry, pharmacy are harder than medicine. That's my own POV. Abstract courses tend to be harder than practical ones. please what's the meaning of POV |
