Elliespotify: I'm not sure what you mean, sorry. pay no attention to him, he is just pulling your legs, he is trying to find out if you're truly a caucasian. That's the motive behind his question, you seem like a nice person, and your Boyfriend also seems like a nice person, try to meet with the parents before they travel, if you don't you're going to lose your man, he won't go against them, you have to fight for him, meet with the parents and show them you can be a good African wife. White women usually control their husbands, and it's something that is frowned upon in Africa, show them you can be submissive, show them you won't divorce their son few years after you marry him. I wish you the best, you seem like a nice white lady. |
Politics › Re: A friend's experience with PDP/APC top politicians - CramJones by bolaino(m): 10:19am On Oct 25, 2014 |
cramjones: Last night I was with a mixed group of politicians in Asokoro, Abuja. Among these people were members of APC and PDP, all talking money. I heard one say "My real estate in Dubai is generating $xxxx annually," another say, "Dubai market is not the best, Cayman islands is better, I make $Bleep annually from those investments." As I looked closely in the room, there were self-professed muslims, christians and maybe traditional worshipers or aethists. These men forgot about their ethnic, religious and political identities, what bonded them together was the proverbial Nigeria's national cake.
As I walked around the room, and shook some of my friends, sipping my glass of wine, I thought so hard about the Nigerian electorate that were preparing themselves for a new election process in 2015. I thought about those who come to Facebook, Nairaland, Twitter, and mainstream medial raining down vitriols on those who do not belong to their ethnic group, religion or self-professed geo-political identities. I thought about those who kill each other for these men that literarilly share the "national cake." While I was introverted in those thoughts, I found tears rolling down my ears. As the tears rolled down my feeble eyes, the wife of a prominent politician in Nassarawa state, noticed my watered eyes, drawing close to me, she tapped me on the shoulder and said, "sir, are you okay?" I looked at her as if I was recovering from some sort of hypnosis, and answered "Madam I just returned from London where I had a reunion with my old high school classmates, and so I am really tired". She insisted to know what was wrong. I then said, "madam our country is finished and half of the people in this room need to be in Jail." She said "xxxx I know you pain, and hopefully with the right leadership, we will get it right"
I am pained and in tears that Nigerians are continually deceived, and their wealth carted away by those whose IQ are not even close to those that are deceived. It is high time we bring in someone that would stamp out the number one problem in Nigeria - corruption. We have the power to act, and vote in someone that would truly and honestly reduce corruption in our country. Our country is finished, and we must salvage it. I truly and honestly believe that General Mohammadu Buhari is more than capable of cleaning this mess. Do not waste your vote, vote the right man to power come 2015! I don't hate President Jonathan, I just know that he has taken corruption to another level, and honestly do not have what it takes to lead Nigeria to where we all want it to be.
-CramJones Mr cramjones, Nothing lasts forever, just because it's here today, It could be gone tomorrow, Nothing kills faster than Greed and Selfishness. Life is Fleeting, it's all a Mirage, Everything we're fighting for is Nothing, the only thing we have is our Legacy, when you die, what do you want to be remembered for my Good mann. |

Seun, Seun, Seun, all jokes aside, Deep down in your heart, I believe you know that President Jonathan's Re-emergence as Nigeria's President come 2015 will have Dire consequences on our collective Unity, both Christians and Muslims. And if president Jonathan wins the elections, (which we know he will, because of PDP) It would be a miracle if the country is not plunged into another civil war come 2015. We should all preach Unity, For all our sakes. |

bolaino: The late Legendary Afro beat Maestro, Fela, once sang about this in one of his songs, Nigerians, suffering and smiling, just the other day I read on Nairaland where a nairalander was saying Nigeria was better than the west because we had inconsistent power supply and that without corruption we would be unable to cater for our families, That's bull crap, We are suffering in this country because the opposition has not given the ruling party space to perform, we should be honest with ourselves, the opposition party is filled with People of very low moral standing, people who defect from one party to another, and defect back, all to further their selfish political ambitions, take Atiku for example, a former prominent pdp founding member is now vying for the post of president, under The APC platform, I personally wonder, who in his or her right frame of mind would vote for a person like Atiku, our elder states man Baba shege thinks Atiku is very corrupt, I won't disagree with him, given that Atiku served under him, I don't think anyone in his or her right frame of Mind would want to consciously, vote for Atiku? But Like Ajebuter 22 once sang. "You're never winning Atiku". I would vote for Jonathan, I think we should all be truthful to ourselves, Nigeria can be better, we should stop suffering and smiling, we should elect responsible leaders, we should make the right choices, let's vote wisely come 2015, I am not ashamed to support President Goodluck jonathan come 2015. Long Live The Federal Republic Of Nigeria. |

Politics › The Emergence Of The Political "Boko Haram" by bolaino(op): 3:07pm On Oct 22, 2014 |
Only in climes like these do we see the trend the boko haram insurgency has taken, it seems Boko haram, a once vicious terrorist sect has now become a political group that wants the "best" for Nigeria with the group having secretaries, permanent secretaries, treasurers, and I believe that very soon the group would be given amnesty, with it's members flown abroad to Dubai, Qatar, Abu dhabi and other Arab league countries, for training in different fields. Meanwhile families of Nigerian Graduates who lost their lives and sustained injuries in the last immigration recruitment exercise have not been compensated, but boko haram members who have caused so much pain to Nigerians, are being allowed to call their colleagues and plan attacks under our nose killing innocent Nigerians and Still come out to deny it, we are sitting on a mighty keg of Gunpowder mixed with C4 and it will definitely go off come 2015, This Administration is very irresponsible, One of the most Irresponsible administrations in the history of Nigeria as a country, 2015 is barely two months away, let us see how The federal Government will run away from Nemesis, This country is threading very dangerous grounds, the country has never been this insecure. The president has failed woefully in providing security for Nigerians in the North Eastern part of this country, and the president should be held accountable for all the innocent lives that have been lost so far in this insurgency, his poor handling of the insurgency is what our Nigerian Brothers in the north are suffering from. The president's inability to arrest and prosecute the boko haram sponsors in his Government will inadvertently lead to the collapse of this country if care is not taken, when we see problems ahead and come to warn Nigerians we are termed merchants of doom and perdition. But I sincerely hope the Government ceases to negotiate with boko haram and captures the supposed boko haram negotiators. If not the repercussions of these negotiations would be too great to come out from. Long Live The Federal Republic Of Nigeria. |

We live in the white man's world, no matter how hard we might try to improve on ourselves as black people, The white man will make sure we Retrogress in order for him to control the world, see beyond the mirage, The white man fears the day that the black man will be emancipated both physically and mentally, Sadly, The white man still controls this world and the minds of our children, the white man has succeeded in making our children hate or dislike our African cultures and traditions, the white man feels in his heart that he is a superior being, the white man feels that the black man is nothing more than an advanced animal, hence the white man's quest to control the black man, should the black man be blamed for the challenges and problems he faces in his everyday life? Should the black man be blamed for not doing more for his society and family? Probably not, black people all over the world behave in a self destructive way because the black man has drummed it incessantly in his ears that he is too dumb to make any difference in his life and society, Our African communities of old lived lives without corruption and greed, they lived in communal harmony and love, But ever since the white man came to Africa, things have never remained the same, they have beguiled us with diseases and wars, they have taught our leaders corruption, and now they are corrupting our youths with practices ranging from Homosexuality to crime, and immorality of the highest order, the white man is Godless, thus he acts the way he does, I envision a world where the black man will be in control of world affairs, I envision a world where the black man would be truly free. To all the black youths trying to be like white people, trying to imitate their live style, and trying to change your skin color, desist from these actions as nothing but pain and death awaits you, emulate your parents and ancestors, follow the African way of Integrity, Honor and Love for the community, do not be deceived by the white man, as the white man is only filled with Lies and deceit, remember there was once a time where every black man referred to the white man as "MASSA" do not be fooled into thinking things have changed, the black man is still not free, it's the same old trick, just a different Day, Emancipate yourselves my black brothers and sisters, free yourselves from thinking you can not do it without the white man, we can build Africa, You and I, let's Love ourselves more, let's stick together more, and God willing our childrens children will reap the benefits of our concerted efforts, Open your eyes and see beyond the facade. |

Christianity Etc › Re: Are You Guilty Of Practising Mysticism? by bolaino(m): 7:11am On Oct 19, 2014 |
WinsomeX: WHAT IS MYSTICISM?
Mysticism may be defined as the pursuit of a deeper or higher subjective religious experience. It is the belief that spiritual reality is perceived apart from the human intellect and natural senses. It looks for truth internally, weighing feelings, intuition, and other internal sensations more heavily than objective, observable, external data. Mysticism ultimately derives its authority from a self-actualized, self authenticated light arising from within. This irrational and anti- intellectual approach is the antithesis of Christian theology [John MacArthur NT Commentary: Colossians, 120].
How many of us are guilty of practicing mysticism, while calling it spirituality? why should one feel guilt in practicing mysticism? |

I can only be grateful to God for the grace to believe without questions. Oniah u should believe too . God was the Creator that wasn't created. that's why he's God. He created light and air and every thing yo imagination can grasp was at the beginning. He is actually the beginning hallelujah!! so, simply put, you'll pay tithe today. |

MymothersKeeper: Last night i was listening to deborah fraser and slept off, normally I am the type that do not care if someone is gay or not but I saw a vision last night and have now changed my mind. The dream was so real I thought it was live until i woke up sweating.
I saw a terrorist group attacking the public of Nigeria, during the attack 169 people died and 183 were badly injured some had to be killed like the woman that was shattered from toes to waist with her head opened, she had to be buried with some cement like stuff. Pre-planted Bombs going off up and down the city all over the country, it was so horrifying. It was a total chaos, after the massacre, I started crying and could not believe the most fatal terrorist attack was happening in my home country. Suddenly, I found myself in a hall, one elderly man said I should stop crying and handed me an examination paper to do, he gave me a book to read to answer the questions. The question and answer were below:
1. Why is there chaos in the land Answer: Due to hands that shed blood and Homosexuality like in the days of Sodom and Gomorrah 2. What are the advantages and disadvantages Answer: The mankind will learn their lessons after being smitten with the rod of anger Disadvantages: I couldn't remember this 3. What should you do personally to prevent chaos Answer: Always be vigilant and never let your guards down at anytime
I went to the front to submit my test and on my right I saw a cage of foul eating corn, I said Master, please don't smite the people with the rod of anger they do not know the reason for it. I promise you they don't. See those foul over there? I feed them with corn and water daily but they still make noise and misbehave. I don't smack them because I do not know how they feel until I become a foul and join them in the cage to live as them that is when I truly understand how they feel, so please.
The masters reply: I once lived with you to truly understand how you feel, it is possible to not kill and practice homosexuality. You see that apartment over there? their parent are idolaters and what will become of their children? Go and take those children and put them in the light. That's when I WOKE UP!!!!! I was so scared! Just to add, when I was a child around age 8 i used to dream of all these boko haram activity and all those Jos terror before boko haram. But Nigeria was very peaceful so it dint make sense at all until it happened 15 years later. I would see a man holding a quaran and a gun, ordering soldiers to bomb and shoot etc etc. Thanks for listening to my dream and do not support gay please, it is unacceptable and I dont believe the Americans are making all effort to make it seem normal. well, I hope you are wrong for all our sakes, The world is going nuts, Evil is being called Good, na only God go fit save us. |
