lexy2014:Oga, the same Jim Obazee is responsible for investigating the NNPCL too, according to this report. |
stormborn28:You never see anything😅! Come and run from your financial obligations let us see. Except you dispose the Sim card you used for the registration, in which case they'll call even your church pastor for their money. |
lexy2014:How did you miss this part of the report? You clearly didn't read through it. Go and read and avoid asking unnecessary questions this early in the day. |
Imagine Tinubu fighting corruption😂😂! We'll soon get proper understanding as to why one man is being tasked with the investigative responsibility of unravelling previous dealings of huge entities like the CBN and the NNPCL. Na Nigeria we dey! The grand plan is going to surely hit the spotlight in no distant time. |
If una like, change the name to Continental Championships of Heavenly Football, it won't change the fact that the NFF and the Nigerian League are as drab, mundane, uninspiring and unexciting as NTA's existence. Whatever the federal government of Nigeria manages ends up looking like relics from the stone ages. Like NFF, like NTA, like Refineries, like Nigerian roads. All stagnant and unproductive! |
iLoveYouToo:Where's the much touted e-naira? The Nigerian Police launched a similar App to this NERC nonsense, a handful of months ago, claiming it was their own digitisation efforts towards combating crimes as Nigerians could lay their complaints even down to reporting errant policemen. Not only have the Police been too overwhelmed with the increased crime occurrences, but the said App has been jettisoned and forgotten. Or should we talk about the 500 million naira Lai Muhammed appropriated for the digitisation and upgrade of the Nigerian Television Authority, which never saw the light of day? Only thing Lai did was to register NTA on twitter from whence they've been breaking news with their dull and annoying logo. This is not me being a pessimist. This is me being a Nigerian realist. This NERC nonsense is uncalled for, needless, totally inconsequential and an avenue to pillage the government coffers, by thieving NERC officials. |
iammo:This one is a brain-dead donkey! Who even told you the NERC needs an App to know the range of electricity distribution in the country? These thieves just found an avenue to mop up cash for their personal interests, in the name of creating a complaints resolution App. Abi you want make we investigate tell you the hundreds of millions that must have been buried into this dustbin initiative? |
iLoveYouToo:Are you people even serious? You want to take precautionary measures to dictate headache when the malaria is accumulating in the system? Is it not when you have adequately improved electricity generation and supply nationwide that you'll be in any place to create avenues for complaints reception and follow-up? No be who don first get light go complain about outage for the App..😂? How in God's name did we degenerate to this point where we consider it normal behaviour to put the cart before the horse?! |
benjazzy009:I don't know what you mean by this nonsense you wrote here. If progress to you is measured by creating Apps for irrelevant things when the actual power is still piss-poor, then it's your own mentality that ought to be questioned and scrutinised. Certain parts of Abuja metropolis had no electricity from Wednesday to Friday last week, that's three fvcking days of total blackout, and what the NERC and FG are more concerned about is the launching of an App to report outage. By all means, let them launch it so we can crash it with millions of complaints in the first one week! |
AngelicBeing:Nna, ozugo😂! The matter no reach to hang me for cross. Kwantar da hankali! |
donleo92:They resurface in the forms of new loan apps, move their database to the new platform, then resume harassing you to repay their suffocating loans. |
I fvcked up! Should have gotten that 50K loan from Joy Cash when they were literally begging me to take it. |
This moderator wey no dey sleep needs serious mending! Be putting Lalong's thieving face on the front page, this early in the day..😠 |
AngelicBeing:You have problem, gaskiya😂! It's Fura-de'nunu, please. |
Ekpekus:Shortages ke? When Americans are selling their homes at significant loss rates? |
Why you dey waka dey find public holiday, Oga? If you wan rest, just call in sick at work na. |
sharpwriter:I doubt the severe housing issues are in Canada. I know San Francisco in the US is experiencing an extreme case of what you just spelt out. |
sharpwriter:Oddly enough, folks you'll mostly find awake through the nights are either writers or internet fraudsters😂. |
Una no dey sleep for this nairaland ?Person go say make e come online come ease off hours of brain activity, only to find owls and bats lurking in the shadows. |
Bigkoko:The fickle-mindedness of certain Nigerian youths leaves much to be desired. This was how they propagated presumptuous narratives of Buhari's competence and integrity, even vowing that his inability to produce a verifiable ordinary WAEC result was not a criterion for administrative proficiency. 8years down the line and we all know where the daura failure deposited the ruins of the country. Now we're back to the same cesspool of prioritising tribal interests over competence and moral decency. We make leadership choices as youths and citizens of other countries size us with utter bemusement and awe, as if stupidity flows in our blood cells. Because nothing else can excuse the level of idiocy being displayed by supporters of this man and his party. |
The International convention center in Awka has a sitting capacity of 7000 people, 5000 of which sit below while the rest occupy the elevated grounds, with an estimated parking space for about 3500 vehicles and a restaurant. It is only the biggest in terms of crowd carrying capacity, followed closely by the Calabar International convention center with a 5000 crowd capacity, though boasting almost four times the ground space of the Awka center at about 7000 square meters, the CICC sits on a sprawling 35,000square meters of land, fitted with an ultramodern golf course, lounges, massive parking spaces, malls, etc. But in terms of technological sophistication and modern day luxury standards, Eko convention center is number one in Nigeria, though it sits about a 3000 capacity crowd. |
Are you people mad in this country? Why do we just keep majoring in trifles? What is the essence of a power outage reporting App when the power itself is largely non-existent? Does NERC and the FG require daily reports from citizens to know that Nigerians are lacking electricity? This is the only country where the slightest indication of rainfall amounts to total blackout, for reasons they have never bothered to explain to the populace. It's currently raining in Gwarimpa Abuja, and the power has been out for over 2hours now. By the time the rain fades, it's going to take another two days for AEDC to dry high tension cables and transformers .Instead of prioritising electricity improvement, una dey launch App to report unavailability of light. E be like na Ogun wan kill una papa! O ti ya werey ni..😡?! |
helinues:But is Nigeria actually progressing? Have you seen the inflation numbers for the month of August? Have you not realised that hundreds of children have had to drop out of schools in the last two months? What is your purchasing power in the open markets? When you take a 50K for foodstuff shopping, what are you now able to afford with that amount? These are all very glaring simple realities and we all can't keep glossing over them while playing silly politics. |
This is hilarious! Here I am wondering who he's going to blame for the gender anomaly in his purported certificate during today's court hearing. What's more depressing is seeing struggling Nigerian youths tearing their shirts in relentless defence of this man and his bag of crimes, even when they themselves can never be considered for any decent jobs in Nigeria if they were to present certificates with half of Tinubu's red flags, in any establishment. How low can a people stoop in defence of tribal and religious interests ?! |
haybhi1:Leave him alone! NwaNimo1 appeals to us just the way he is. |
Chinachriss:Okay na..😂! Make una vote finish, then we'll rearrange the votes properly by 4pm on Sunday. Na mumu dey waste time vote. Over here, we just mess with the database and rearrange votes to keep our faves going. |
IconicR:Sarcasm ke? You really do underestimate my capabilities o .CeeC is going to be evicted come Sunday. She and Alex. I'm even amazed as to how long Alex has been able to last in this house. She's long overdue for a return trip back home. But Lamborghini still has drama that the real voting audience still wants to watch, so she'll be saved..😊 |
gabby18:Alex should come and be going. Had just about enough of her uninspiring drama. CeeC will follow her cause I want CeeC returning back to Abuja. ![]() |
IconicR:I need her to come back home. I have unfinished business with her..😊. Let me send some emails and make certain her votes are watered down. |
Next should be Local Government autonomy. |
Betwixt the trio of Kebbi, Ekiti and Ebonyi States, there's a very spirited contest as to who's to come out tops in the poverty rating statistics. |
seunmsg:Seun, NURTW does not generate up to a billion naira nationwide on a daily basis. Please flush that very messed up statistic down your loo. Transportation is unarguably one of Nigeria's major internal revenue source, outside Oil and gas. And I haven't in any way suggested that the sector be abandoned or their Associations be disbanded. I'm personally expressing my blunt disappointment in the fact that I held you in a very high esteem considering your supposed learned opinions on issues, until I realised your relentless propaganda in support of Tinubu and the APC roundly stemmed from the fact you're a direct beneficiary of the toutish system that is the Lagos State NURTW. |
