sparko1:Sit down and be playing! Some of you just wake up everyday, open nairaland for the banter and limited information when there's a litany of legit information sources out there. You'll be on nairaland enjoying the ridiculousness of tribal rants while they sell the country with you in it. |
Alamkir:Between Iran and Nigeria, whose President should even have the gall to put blunt words to issues? Who should summon the audacity to call the fuckery of Western nations for what it is? Tinubu mounted the podium to ramble like a drunk about how "foreign firms and individuals" are exploiting the resources of African nations and fomenting chaos, when even the blind know that it's government entities of those countries who are responsible for the aforementioned problems. Is it firms and individuals who turned Libya to the death field it is today? Is it foreign firms and individuals who are responsible for the poverty and current crisis in Niger republic? Be supporting nonsense! |
Tinubu is unapologetically foolish! |
Johnnyessence:Kindly mention two areas OBJ performed abysmally when compared to every other President we have had. |
Corrinthians:Hundeyin should not be put in the same comparative sentence with Omokri. Hundeyin doesn't attack tribes. Hundeyin digs for facts on issues of pressing concerns and puts out same for all to see and counter. Omokri is a shameless political sycophant who panders to the drum beats of the highest bidder. He cements his loyalty to political figures willing to put food on his table. He once called himself an "an author of a best-selling book" that we never saw or read. Then he labeled himself a pastor when that was convenient enough to pay his bills. Then he danced surugede for GEJ until the man realised Omokri's unstable personality was hurting his public image and cut him off. Then he shifted focus to managing Peter Obi's social media profiles until his repulsive character cost him that source of daily bread. Upon which he slithered to Atiku's table just in an effort to stay afloat. We all know where that ended. Now he is rolling on the floor for the same Bola Tinubu he once spent time castigating and ridiculing. Such a person is an existential nuisance and unworthy of any sort of recognition. A man without character and integrity is considered worse than an infidel. |
Omooba77:Because he is surrounded by louts, criminals and sycophants who whisper sweet nonsense into his ears, making him believe all is well. |
Johnnyessence:The man who cleared your entire national debts and efficiently made sure you can own a phone to access the internet today, is the cause of your problems today? |
And the petrol subsidy that shameless BAT crudely removed with his first official statement, plunging millions of Nigerians into intense and instant hardship, which was supported by his minions and was trumpeted by "nairalanda1" on this platform, has been clandestinely restored. When we tell them propaganda doesn't run an economy, they'll call us names. Tinubu clearly knows nothing about governance. All the policies he instituted upon resumption have collapsed like a pack of cards in the winds. In August I predicted that the Nigerian economy was going to be on its knees in six months going by the trajectory then. I was clearly being too lenient with the estimation even. A handful of Agbadeux misfits quoted me in challenge. This is just the second month. I'll unearth those mentions and shame the lot of you. |
LZAA:GEJ swept SE and SS in 2015? I don't even have the strength for uninformed political arguments this morning. |
GeneralPula:While you're busy pandering to political correctness and blind loyalty, this is to inform you that petrol subsidy has returned and that "logical reasoning" you Tinubu supporters have always attributed to yourselves, has now been laid bare for what it is: Utter and complete folly! |
Zionmdde:You must be unfortunate in this life to quote me and exhibit your generational idiocy! |
Kukutente23:No, there's something else afoot! NNPCL never accessed the Afrexim Bank loan which was predicated on crude swap terms. It is on record that that loan arrangement hit the walls because other contributory financiers lost confidence in the terms after NNPCL went public with it and questions were being raised from different quarters. However, Dangote Refinery has just confirmed that the NNPCL will be unable to supply them crude to enable them begin petrol refining from October because the company "already has prior crude oil swap commitments" to meet up. That means the NNPCL has probably taken other loans or undertaken other international financing commitments on behalf of the FG, which they have to settle with crude proceeds from the months of September and October. The question now is, what kind of arrangement did the NNPCL have behind the curtains on behalf of the FG, and with who? Why are Nigerians not aware? So these people have been clandestinely mortgaging SS resources for monies they have neither accounted for nor even seen fit to bring to the notice of all Nigerians. They have stolen the country dry, to the point they're already stealing crude oil that is still in the ground. And we're all here just making noise while some youths are comfortably singing their praises with no reasonable means of livelihoods. |
This country has to be divided. We all clearly have no business being an entity. The hate and toxicity is precipitating to very dangerous levels. It's time we called for a Niger Delta Colloquium so we can decide on how best to push for the dissolution of this unholy matrimony. Make everybody go their way. Whether Yoruba, Igbo, Hausa, Fulani, make all man go him way. Whoever consciously decides to belong in another region can do so. |
Imagine how lowly we have degenerated as humans! This one created a thread to gauge people's reactions to the killings of security agents in different regions of the country, as if those victims are just mere statistics to be bandied for conversational relevance. Those are humans with families and loved ones! People like you! Giving their lives to secure your stupid coconut head! And your major concern is regional and tribal feelers and reactions in the face of this ugliness! Don't you people have shame?! |
onumadu:There's nowhere in that entire write-up where the young man threatened to go and kill innocent Igbo villagers. Stop twisting people's words for the thrill of media sensationalism. |
pendragonbladgo:You people who promote this school of thought are a funny lot. Is it that you don't know what an asset forfeiture entails or do you just comfortably peddle this storyline out of mischief?! Tomorrow, Atiku Bagudu will come out to contest for the Presidency and Northerners will argue strongly in his defense that he was never convicted, then we'll see how some of you will have the audacity to say otherwise. |
WrriterNig:It's the balls on this man for me! Not like one African President who simply went there to extol the virtues of his handlers and slyly beg for more aids and considerations. |
But Bola Tinubu was rewarded with the highest political seat in the land, with Femi Gbajabiamila being his right hand man, while Godswill Akpabio became the number three man and Abdullahi Ganduje sits in a palatial office enjoying the benefits of our commonwealth. Laws in Nigeria are solely meant to herd the masses into compliance. |
Something is fundamentally wrong with this country. |
Internal party wranglings.. ![]() |
garfield1:I asked you a simple question Garfield, do you have law courts in your country? Take the question out of the political context so you don't have to drag Obi and Atiku into the discourse. |
It's very distasteful how some people expect Nigeria to stand still because a Yoruba musician died in questionable circumstances, despite the fact that relevant authorities are already working to unravel the cause(s) of his demise. Mohbad was not even in a place to be considered having an image worth emulating. He sang nonsense that appealed to the wild streets while doing his own share of drugs. But for some reason, his enthusiasts are keen on dragging everyone into the mess that occasioned his death. Instead of you people to address the menace of drug abuse, cultism, hooliganism and sexual perversion that has saturated your societal space, you're busy disturbing the peace of other Nigerians to lend voices to one nonsense movement. You comfortably glorify musicians with no morals when they sing and exhibit all manner of societal vices, then disturb other Nigerians when repercussions come calling. Mtscheew! |
garfield1:Do you have law courts in Nigeria? |
seunmsg:Several times I have called your attention to issues of unwholesome behaviours involving persons of interest to you on this platform and you have always conspicuously gone missing, chief amongst them being the recent carnage your fellow NURTW touts perpetuated in Abuja over your union leadership tussle. But somehow you found the convenience to jump on my mention this morning to exhibit your overzealous loyalty to a criminal in the corridors of power. You seem to have an uncanny likeness for criminalism and questionable characters, very reason you always gravitate towards lending support for anomalies. Because nothing excuses the fact that a young man will find role models in the likes of MC Oluomo, Muhammadu Buhari and Bola Tinubu, yet always immeasurably quiet when and where injustice is glaringly noticed by everyone else. That said, I don't fancy being perceived in the same environment with youths who lose their self worth and have no regards for the sanctity of humanism. Since you believe the Judge who ordered CSU to authenticate said certificates under oath was too stupid to know that CSU would have certified same in their capacity before release, the onus is on you to feel like you know better than everyone else including a US court judge, simply because of your penchant to attune to criminalism. Going forward, kindly refrain from intruding in my conversations with other users, until you decide to put your academic intelligence to good and honest use. My dear mother didn't raise me to glorify criminals and nairaland characters won't be the reasons I do otherwise. |
AllBlack:No pregnancy scan is detailed enough to show you anomalies in toes and fingers even at 36 weeks, so this your analogy is wishful thinking at the very best. |
garfield1:Please don't lie to people. Not only did the court order CSU to release Tinubu's certificates to Atiku within two days, it ordered the University to authenticate them under oath. |
Melancholy:Who told you he put those questions together? That nigga is the king of plagiarism aka copy and paste. |
Is it Yahaya Bello's Kogi State or another one😂😂? Same Kogi Bello is governing from his Wuse apartments in Abuja? Same Kogi that has her entire account(s) balance in Bello's individual accounts and that of his wives? You people play too much in this country! |
