There are no VILLAGES in the city of Abuja.

You must be referring to illegal settlements outside the city.
Lol.

Is this supposed to be a joke?

⚡The Russian Foreign Ministry told RIA Novosti that during contacts in Moscow with Hamas, the immediate release of foreign hostages in the Gaza Strip was discussed

Israel considers inviting the Hamas delegation to Moscow an “undignified step” and demands that the Russian Federation immediately expel them, says a statement by the Israeli Foreign Ministry.
Israel be feeling like that last born child who's adored by both parents..😂. Be making demands of Russia.

The nerve!

They are not talking of importation here. Meanwhile Abuja doesn't have a seaport like Lagos to make that easier. There are other ways to raise the IGR of Abuja.

You're talking nonsense. Do you know how many young Nigerians die from extra judicial killings perpetuated by Security Agencies?
Politics › Re: IGR Growth: "Abuja can beat Lagos", Senate says by BoldBrainz(m): 5:10pm On Oct 25, 2023
It's quite possible. Abuja has very huge untapped commercial potentials.

Imagine turning the entire Apo mechanic village to a world class spare parts hub. It will be the biggest in Nigeria and rake in billions in monthly revenues.

Kelvin30286063:
Yeah we have. I actually think it's a good idea. While leaders of NDDC continue to steal your wealth, South West states will make an exit. Since you all have been major oil producers, there's nothing tangible you've done with your lives so we are happy to not be a part of that corrupt body.
But the honest truth is, in the interest of togetherness, this statement should never have been made. Ofcourse this is where we are now, everyone looking for a way out of Nigeria.
This is one sole reason I'll never lay flowers on the memories of Aguyi Ironsi. His idiocy led to the abolishing of regionalism and foisting this stupendous and poisonous "One Nigeria" disease.

You wouldn't be finding the audacity to preach this nonsense to me today, if that had not happened.

Omo...Your hate for Yoruba runs deep in your veins

I read all the comments and all the Igbos here keep attacking edwin clarke straight up for his comments, some even went ahead to attack his beloved Ijaw tribe but u ignored all to respond to a guy who only replied to a dumb post ahead of him

You arent as neutral as u claim...Hypocrisy lies down in your belly cheesy cheesy cheesy
All of this your rambling is inconsequential. I have always maintained that Nigeria has no business being one country and that's a stand I'm not willing to change irrespective of the circumstances.

If that makes you think I'm a hypocrite or a Yoruba hater, it's your absolute business.

Kelvin30286063:
But you want Cross River to be part of NDDC just because it's in the same geographic area even though it's a barren state too. How stupid do you should now?
South West are barren states but recognized as oil producing state right?
I thought we all agreed that we've gotten to the point where everyone minds his business and region? Why are you now salivating everywhere in a desperate effort to be an appendage?

This news has been massively altered just for the purpose of misinformation and shouldn't be gracing the nairaland front page.

The release of the documents is still slated for October 30th. What this judge denied granting was Aaron's demand for an accelerated release before the initially stated date.

Please stop misinforming people in the name of politics!

Young man, a public figure at any level has NO privacy! He is the property of the governed masses and can be laid bare for all to see, by anyone who sees the need to do so. It is our constitutional right to know everything about Bola Tinubu at this very point, down to what he had for breakfast today.

Stop displaying ignorance in public!

Oga how far about una Refinery that you promised will work by October?

Nigerians forget so quick. So now una don forget the Refinery and focus on student Loan. January will come and go and no student loan.

This one self will come and go and nothing will happen.

Nigerians very docile people.

Thank God for my life
Some nairalander was intensely arguing with me here sometime in August about the feasibility of the Port Harcourt refinery commencing operations in October. He was so vested in the argument that he threw in some slurs in the process even.

I told him something very simple: The Port Harcourt refinery cannot and will not commence operations in October. I've been there myself and seen the work in progress. Even if by some stroke of miracle that place is ready by November, it won't get crude to refine until January. There are certain crude oil obligations Buhari and Mele Kyari got entangled in that saw them getting loans in exchange for months of crude that hasn't even been extracted from the ground. Tinubu's government has no choice but to honour those obligations and supply crude to those creditors until at least the end of October.

Dangote just might begin refining by the end of November, but you see that Port Harcourt refinery? Not a single drop of refined products is going to come out of it until next year.

Can you be slightly reasonable for one sodding moment?!

Your government has a laid-down three-year plan to borrow trillions just to service (not pay off) previous loans, with very little attention planned for societal development, and your primary concern is what region gets a shot at the Presidency or not?

Are you nairaland youths even thinking about these things at all?!
