Can't the government of Anambra State install a strong fire prevention and fire fighting strategy in this market? For how long will this continue to happen? Its only in Nigeria that terrible losses continue to happen yet nothing put in place to prevent future occurrence. Very painful!

Some Governors are very terrible in Nigeria.

As far as the mace stealer did not win, I'm okay. Note that LP has done most of their other primaries except Presidential before Obi came to the party. Its very likely with Obi's presence now, LP will have more stronger candidates in future elections.

This is the best decision....the governor is trying to manipulate the result in order to force a rerun. It's better for INEC to compare the results being collated with what they have on their server or Irev.

Why didn't they do this comparison during Presidential election. God will handle them.

Facts! Those that know, know that Obi had the highest votes in that election but the powers that rule decided that it was Tinubu's turn. Due to BVAS votes numbers cannot be manufactured so the powers that be shut down the server and then swapped the votes. I have seen some of the empirical evidence.

For me, I lost the interest to go out and vote not because Tinubu won.
No, he was the second candidate who I preferred after Atiku and I somehow believed he will win.

The election across the federation was full of tension, the rivalry was interesting and the results shows that oppositions fought well and Tinubu's victory wouldn't have made me lost interest but then it was Rivers state results that demoralized me.
Everyone here in Rivers State knows that the state is a battle ground for PDP and LP but that isn't what happened.
Infact if not for Rivers state results, the presidential election won't look like it was rigged and we would have had hope in our electoral system but Rivers state was just a hope killer.

Absolutely correct, everywhere is like grave yard. INEC killed democracy in Nigeria on 25th February 2023 when they rigged the election. My polling unit on 25th February had 269 accredited voters and 233 voted for Peter Obi. Today, I'm not sure that polling unit will have upto 50 persons. Though I just voted but nobody is here. People are not interested anymore. Only polling unit agents are everywhere and the thuggery roaming the street is too much. If you don't have a strong heart, you can't come out to vote. It's very shameful what Nigeria has become. Simple election is now war. Peter Obi needs to come to reset this country. Its a total mess.
