Each time I go through that road, I ask myself same question: whose building is this? Till date, i am yet to find an answer to that! I guess we will never know....it is a lawless milieu where accountability is alien! |
Yes. I do. |
There has been some problems in the filling of the online forms for the recruitment going on in the Nigeria Immigration Service. Now the most challenging issue is the accredited banks. All of them are turning down customers request of paying for the e-recruitment as directed by the CPFIPD. Any update to help candidates, please Thanks. |
In actual fact, i was to have left the house for one of the Federal Ministries at the Secretariat this morning to pick up a letter, then I decided to call first only to be informed of this 'ugly' development! Do u then wonder why things aint working right? |
Ah! A lot is wrong wt this dressing....look at her big nipples....struggling to burst out of the dress! God have mercy! And to think someone? /somebody is in charge of her wardrobe/dressing? This is certainly bad! Shaking my head! |
I am a woman and i feel strongly dt women are their own worst enemies. When a man takes a fancy on u, even when u know such a man is married, for whatever justification, u still ahead and agree to tango, why then will men not continue to play d game? But, if u had said no to d advances, the game wd sure hv ended there! So, whichever way u look at it, women are to blame! |
49 Lawyers? Make una sofly, sofly trek am o! me i no dey for story telling o! A word is enough for the wise. |
Nairaland is a very good innovation and is more of 'naija thing' however, it needs to do more in order to favourably compete with Facebook. Facebook membership is all embracing and more accommodating. In other words, the membership is matured and their language is controlled. It is an all-comers thing yet one can comfortably fit in and gradually get to meet people of like minds and orientation. I have, however, observed that in Nairaland, in as much as one would want to 'catch fun' as it is called on it, it is regretful that some immature members often seize this to pass uncomplimentary remarks on their fellow members. I, for so long a time, stopped 'visiting' Niaraland just for this singular factor. I will advise that members should be mindful of the fact that it is an open forum for rubbing of minds and exchanging of ideas between young and old and therefore be matured in our posts and comments. |
Love is also wicked when it is not reciprocated. It should be a two-way thing but sometimes you find out that one party loves than the other and this hurts terribly. |
I am still on the look out for my birthmate o! Mine is 7th September |
It is quite possible. It only requires discipline on both sides. In fact, I don't want to use the word 'discipline' because the objective of friendship is not self gratification but compatibility which has nothing to do with opposite attraction. In fact, it is a friendship that has not gender definition, i.e. genderless. |
, it has taught me never to trust anybody. Not even myself! |
My money is on Barack Obama. |
I am really getting jittery over the US Election. Today's poll is frightning. Mccain is sure gaining more grounds. What are the democrats doing wrong? I am getting scared! really! |
Look, I am still at sea as to what your point really is. What do you want from her? Honestly, I think you really need to see a Doctor, no offence meant, my dear. Scenario 1- You met and spoke with her with the intention of hooking up. Scenario 2: She gave you the green light. Now, where lies the problem? You are just being hypocritical! What do you want us to tell you? To tell you that she is cheap? My God! you are the cheap and incorrigible one. Excuse me! Am out of here! |
Yes. For reasons beyond my control. So painful and no matter how you try make up for it, it can never, ever be the same. |
The tendency to cheat is inherent in every human being. And, when i say cheat, I mean in all ramifications, i.e. in every aspect of human endeavour or relation. Therefore, we should be addressing those factors that are precursors to cheating; we identify, isolate, group, and address them. In our peculiar environment here, these factors are not far fetched. In categorizing them, we talk about the economic, social, political, cultural, and most importantly the religous factors. Are you surprised I say religious? Dont be. By the time each and everyone of us start reflecting on these factors you will clearly get the picture of what I am talking about. Look at the larger picture. In as much as I do not encourage immoral acts, I also is realistic enough to know that our environment encourages and nurtures this act of immorality. We need to pause for a while and ask questions. |
Hmmm I have been away for a very lonnnnnnnnnnng time from the Forum. Coming back and faced with this poser "24 Hours Without Record of Sin: What would You do?" I love to go on, pour out all those things I have been resisting the temptation to do but, on a second thought, I would rather continue to be sinless if it is possible. After 24 hours, what happens? Dont let us deceive ourselves. As human as we all are, we'd just continue committing these sins, indulging ourselves in the atrocities and thinking respite will surely come in form of forgiveness of sins! How convenient! |
I love meeting people and thus chatting is one of the ways of getting to know people more. So, this is mine bol.jul@yahoo.com thanks. |
yester night. When was the last time you bought a gift for him/her? |
Love is entirely giving ur all without reservation and without the anticipation of a return. It is being selfless. I'l marry one who I love more than he loves me. |
Babybee u hv been a good friend but u don't know this. Let's get to chat one of these days. My email is akb1@yahoo.com |
A friend is that person who stays with you through thick or thing in spite of your shortcomings. A friend takes you for who you are and complements you. A friend makes you whole.[Not every acquintance is a friend] |
There is a Yoruba saying which goes like this - it is interesting to watch a mad man but no one prays to have one as a child. This is the truth of the matter. |
I do not see any big deal in doing chores like these. Washing my partners clothes only goes to show the level of love and respect that i hv for him. we shd do this more often. |
Mine is 7th September! Do I hv a match in the house? Please get to me at akb1@yahoo.com. Thanks. |
Alhamdulilai I am a muslim. There is no need to enter into argument about our respected religion of Islam. Islam is a complete religion. If one is lucky to be born a muslim or converted to Islam, then one has achieved a great thing. May we not be misled by Satan after we have accepted Islam, amin. May we die as muslims. Allah is protecting His religion and propagating it, inspite of unrelenting war being waged by the Western world. Allahu Akbar! |
What can I say! I just love it all! This is a gud thread and a sweet write-up too. I cannot but agree with my sister about the temptation we women usually fall into all in the name of love? lust! i dare say. We should try to respect ourselves and most importantly, this body that God has entrusted into our care. It is when we do this that the male folks will begin to see us in another light and begin to respect us too. Carry on the gud work sister. Cheers! Happy New Year all.[what is life? life is what you make of it, simple!] |
