malali:
What happened with KWAM 1 was the turning point. I said clearly that the President, Keyamo, and FAAN should take a firm stance, but the response was, “It’s KWAM 1,” and the matter was brushed aside.

[color=#990000]Then came the incident with the girl who was stripped naked. Again, nothing happened. No consequences. No message that airport rules apply to everyone.

Now we’re seeing jobless internet personalities like VDM and Jollof behaving recklessly in spaces that should command order. These are people with no personal discipline bringing chaos into an aircraft, one of the worst places for any kind of altercation.

I’ve been to every continent and more than 35 countries, and I have never witnessed a fight inside a plane. This breakdown of discipline is happening because the government under Bola Tinubu keeps letting infractions slide. If KWAM 1 had been given a 12-month flight ban, nobody today would dare cause trouble onboard an aircraft. Consequences deter chaos.

Nigeria is about to host thousands of foreign visitors for Detty December. Is this really the image we want them to take home? An airport is federal territory, treat it as such. Fighting inside a public aircraft is not only disgraceful but a serious safety threat to every other passenger.

Keyamo should be sacked, because this is the 3rd time in less than 6 months. He is not capable of maintaining airport security. There has to be consequences.
No accountability in this country. I also called for his punishment. Same thing now with this Yerima fellow, nothing has been done. Even the person who gave the illegal order is still relaxing somewhere. What that means is that we should expect similar incidents in the future. That is impunity for you. That is why no serious country operates this way.

If the Military High Command really wants to help that guy or if he too knows what's best for him, they should move him to some neutral ground on some Naval, Air Force Base or Army Cantonment somewhere far from Abuja.
He has stirred the hornets' nest and reactions must be expected that corruption will push back. Even though he was right, Wike and his ilk should not be expected to lie low. The entire Nigerian Police Force rank and file offers must privately be getting -erect!ons when they're imagining themselves catching and embarrassing him.
Let him take a step back from view for now for personal safety; he is no VDM!

The Army too has equally used him to prove a powerful point as per rule of law, politicians' need for following due process rather than taking laws into their own hands, acting stupidly and then reinterpreting laws to suit whatever idiotic narrative they want to sell to Gullible Voting Majority.
Yerima has been useful in that regard. Let them shield him a bit before Police will go and waste him and frame up false evidences to prove guilt that he doesn't have.
"The Army too has equally used him to prove a powerful point as per rule of law."

Do you know what the rule of law means? What is the constitutional role of the officer? Does he have the power to obstruct the FCT Minister from performing his functions? The rule of law was violated on that day by Yerima, who was acting on illegal orders of a retired fellow without title to land. Some of you just post things you don't understand. Even if the retired fellow who gave him that illegal order had title, what about building permit? He wouldn't have been permitted to put up that structure in contravention of the master plan of Abuja. You don't just erect structures anyhow in Abuja, there are green areas. This love you guys have for impunity is why the country is upside down. I don't know what they teach in school these days. You learnt these basic things in secondary school. The ignorance out there is alarming.

FarahAideed:
Well protection should be increased around the boy ...if anyone wants Wike or Tinubu out of office all they have to do is to kill the boy and that will be the end of Wike politically and even the end of Tinubu govt .... Mischievous politicians can take advantage of this so I advise Tinubu to send the boy on immediate Course at some Naval school in Turkey or Russia , let him cool off there till 2027
Protection should be increased for what? Why do we reward illegality in Nigeria? Same way some of you pamper bandits. No one is asking for anyone to be killed, but people die. His death cannot take Tinubu out of office, even though I am not praying for such. The tribal element in this is crystal clear. You people feel you are above the law. Misplaced priority, while terrorists keep raiding your areas.
PoliticsRe: No Assassination Attempt On Naval Officer In Face-off With Wike — Police by BondRiv: 1:08pm On Nov 17, 2025

A person who does not respect constituted authority. Is anyone surprised? I don't care who you are, if your plate number is covered and the police asks you to identify yourself, you must do so. This nonsense cannot happen in the U.S. He has been emboldened. Just like the Kwam1 incident, if this Yerima is not disciplined, this nonsense will continue. Even that retired Gambo has to be punished. Enough of this impunity from the military. Respect civil authorities.
PoliticsRe: Governors Revolt As Wike’s Expulsion Breaks PDP by BondRiv: 7:26pm On Nov 16, 2025
A decision made solely on impulse. No strategy behind it. It will surely cost the party defeats. At the end of the day, one of the goals of a political party is to win elections. Bode George with his ego has driven the party into extinction.
PoliticsRe: #IbadanConvention: PDP elects Turaki as new National Chairman, others by BondRiv: 10:00am On Nov 16, 2025
I doubt if our courts will uphold this joke of a convention. PDP is always in a hurry to self-destruct. They had no need to do this, but rather reconcile the party. Someone like Bode George who is feeding fat from the party, but has no electoral value is always the empty drum that makes the loudest noise. We shall see their performance in the election.
PoliticsRe: Olabode George Moved The Motion For The Expulsion Of Wike, Others (vid) by BondRiv: 9:47am On Nov 16, 2025
So this was the priority for the contemptuous so-called convention they were running all over the place to conduct? Bode George that has no electoral value doing too much. PDP is going nowhere in the next election. They have collapsed the party.

PoliticsRe: Retired Police Officer Offers Yerima Part Of His Pension by BondRiv: 2:37pm On Nov 15, 2025
The insult was the illegal deployment of the officer to guard a land without valid title in defiance of civil authorities. I looked at your name, but let me not stereotype you. However, there seems to be a pattern with your people applauding and inviting anarchy, whether foreign or local. The desire for chaos in Nigeria because of feelings of marginalisation. That if they can't have what they crave, Nigeria should not exist. It is a pity. Like King Solomon and the two women in the bible.

SisterAnn:
It would seem that Wike has the tacit approval of Tinubu to grab people's land in Abuja. There's no way all the lands grabbed, that some won't be for Tinubu and his own cronies, his wife and her own cronies, the rest Wike would then keep for himself and his own cronies.

That's how the national cake is shared, while the masses continue to lament the hardship bitting harder.

Otherwise, What's the reason why the president has not as little as suspended or reprimanded Wike for the show of shame we all watched on video few days ago.

Till now, no word of reprimand from tinubu to his reckless appointee. They are birds of same feathers. You cannot shame the shameless.

Tinubu is notorious for cornering the juicest part of Lagos for himself and cronies, that's why he lacks even the smallest modicum of morals to chastise Wike.

An outright sack would have been more appropriate, but for the sake of saving face, a public reprimand or suspension from office would assuage the anger of Nigerians whose sensitivities were assaulted along with that of officer Yerima. That's if Tinubu is there for the masses.

Is Wike bigger than Tinubu?

A poster here wrote that Wike is untouchable because he holds tinubu by the blokos! And I was like hoooow nahhuhhuh.

Is it not election he rigged for him in River State? Did he kpai anyone for him? Is he the first person to rig elections for another?
This election favor has been paid in full! It's been two years of unbridled land grabbing and unprecedented corruption in the FCT ministry.
Enough already.

Tinubu should sack Wike now before Wike sacks him with his unbecoming irrational and crazed attitude.

No one appointee should be bigger than the president no matter the debt owed by the later.

It doesn't matter if Wike is Tinubu's long lost father from Iragbiji reincarnated!! Wike must be shown the way out before it's too late.

The APC guys don't even like him but barely tolerating him.
None of them has spoken in his defense since the show of shame with the young officer. Not even Fayose his ride or die stomach infrastructure chummy.

Not even Reno omokri the APC village town crier has found his voice in defense of his fellow.

Wike must go now!
He is not going anywhere. When people want to work for this country, some of you will do everything to frustrate them. Same thing is happening with terrorism. If someone like Wike was the President, perhaps we would have uncovered those preventing the fight against terrorism. It is the same playbook used in Yerima's case.

Incase you forgot, Tinubu is the Commander-in-Chief!
Oh, you have remembered now. Was he the one that sent Yerima to obstruct Wike? Since there are so many chefs in the kitchen now. I blame him though for not ordering an investigation into the incident, which if done properly, should lead to the punishment of that former CNS. How do you win a fight against terrorism with that level of disorganization? People deploying officers from their bedroom to carry handbags and guard empty land. What a country.

Obi's performance in Anambra does not qualify him to lead this country. Nairaland alone is riddled with the frustrations, disappointments and failures of his government in Anambra. Just because you are desperate for an Igbo president, doesn't mean Obi's incompetence should be overlooked. He may be the messiah desired by sycophants like you , but he is definitely not what Nigeria needs. He doesn't have what it takes to lead this country. Obi cannot fix Nigeria. As simple as that.
PoliticsRe: How Wike’s Security Aides Failed Him… by BondRiv: 12:25pm On Nov 15, 2025
They didn't fail him. The article contains examples which have nothing to do with the situation under examination.

The Minister received a distress call from his staff and arrived at the scene with heavy security. They knew what to expect. He didn't need shielding, he was there to confront illegality.

Those military officers couldn't have dared to do otherwise. There were guns everywhere. You guys act like soldiers are not flesh and blood. People don't understand leadership involves courage. Now this incident has sparked a reform in the senate.

Sometimes, a leader has to go the battlefront. It is unfortunate that the former CNS created that battle scene by deploying naval officers, while terrorists are vacationing in the same country.
PoliticsRe: Nigeria Competes Well In Sending Many Delegates To Events - Obi 'mocks' FG by BondRiv: 11:45am On Nov 15, 2025
You want to be the President of Nigeria, what was your performance in Anambra State? Charlatans everywhere. All the political parties you joined have been engulfed in crisis, not one did you solve. Fleeing from little problems in political parties, but you want to lead Nigeria? Are you kidding me? Obi is a joke. The records are there.

All these incompetent and biased journalists. I don't see any humiliation, rather the Minister stood up for the rule of law.

The leadership and courage showed by the Minister is already leading to reform in the military by the senate.

Wike was right to have gone to the scene and not sit in his office, while soldiers beat up his staff and directors. You keep hearing three star this or that in a civilian government.

Do you know what it takes to become a director in the civil service? This military people must also respect civil authorities.

Hoelujohn:
Wike spoke with CDS and CNS. They both advised him not to go there. He should have even called the minister of Defence too but because he sees himself as the super minister, he felt how can he be calling his ‘junior minister’ .
If the military should even make attempt to discipline Yerima, under 2 months, the military discipline will collapse.
My question is what is even a lawful order? When Wike used policemen to snatch ballot boxes, were those lawful orders?
Facts do not care about your feelings. Wike is a super minister in this administration. If you want to be a super minister, do the work. Even your comment has indicted the other people you mentioned. If they had done their jobs, that incident would have been averted. However, they chose their normal habit of sitting on their hands, instead of working. No wonder terrorism is crippling the country.

Bros, no be myth.
Resignation of CDS? Where have you ever seen that one happen?
It seems you have been reading a lot of newspapers printed in Washington DC, Oga wake up na naija you dey.
I understand that you are a bloody civilian so you will not understand, infact go and ask any acquaintance you have in the military or just stop a soldier and ask him.

Let me ask you, is it Tinubu that makes someone a General or Vice Admiral?
The current CDS who was appointed a month ago, was it Tinubu that made him a General?
Do you know how many Generals were available to be appointed CDS?
Do you know that all Generals from 36R to 40R are currently out of service because Tinubu appointed their junior the CDS?
You misunderstand military issues, the CDS has the power to order them out of there but only following the chain of command, this is what is drilled into your skull when you attend the academy.
The CDS is a military man and he knows that he will be ridiculing the office of the CDS by giving a direct order to Yerima to leave that land because according to military law, that order from the CDS is illegal and unlawful, I repeat according to military law.
I repeat again, the chain of command is for the CDS to pass the order to the CNS, the CNS to Yerima commanding officer and then to Yerima.
Anything breaching this chain of command is illegal according to military law.
Tinubu can only appoint service chiefs, CDS, CNS and CAS, that is as far as Tinubu can go, Tinubu is not a military man, he is the CIC yes but he has never attended a military academy.
Even the current CDS that Tinubu recently appointed was a General since during Buhari 1st term, don't forget we have 3 types of Generals, Major, Brigadier and Lieutenant Generals.
Know this and know peace, Tinubu can not give a direct order to a General, he must pass through the CDS, Tinubu cannot punish or sack a General, he must pass through the CDS.
I am not the one that made it that way, that's the way it is.

Now to the matter on ground, if Wike who has never bled for this nation can use his pen to allocate lands to his friends and children, then a General who has served for over 30 years, bled for Nigeria and lost colleagues and subordinates along the way can also use soldiers to allocate land to himself.
I think it's fair play, a fish starts rotting from the head and not the tail and disease wey dey catch coffee dey catch cocoa too.
We did not hear all this noise safe for Sowore when Wike grabbed lands, so what's this whole noise all about?
Or is it because Wike has unfinished vendettta from Rivers state with Admiral Gambo?

A time will come very soon when Judge Omotosho and Liman ( from Wike’s justice supermarket) will give an order in this same country and soldiers or Policemen will tell Wike to his face to go and bring the judge to come and enforce the order.

Peace.
You are ignorant of the law. The epistle you wrote is worthless.

It's just that we as Nigerians are mostly blind to constructive criticism, General Irabor mentioned and recognized that Wike is in charge of Land matters, so when the person who is in charge comes to check the land he is in charge of, a uniform will then be used to illegally stopped his constitutional work?
