Further extensions till the general election. Fubara has not learnt his lesson.
Politics › Re: Video: Tinubu Is Nothing Without Me Wike Boasts by BondRiv: 9:53am On Apr 20, 2025
ObosiLandlord:
Nonsense talk. Wike just tagged along with the winning team. Tinubu made himself the president.
There was no winning team. People coalesced around Tinubu to help him win, including the G5.

shortgun:
It's obvious you didn't watch the video
You didn't understand what you watched. It is about delivering votes for Tinubu.

Politics › Re: PDP Needs Miracle, Southerner Won’t Be President After Tinubu – Fayose by BondRiv: 9:05pm On Apr 19, 2025
360degreess:
..Guy I am telling you the reality on ground.Tinubu will be betrayed by some of his close Northern allies, mark my words.Remember what happened to Jonathan in 2015.Also majority of the northern Islamic scholars who helped to promote the Muslim Muslim ticket are presently against the person of Tinubu himself due to his bad policies and we all know how the northerners respect and obey the opinions of their scholars
Story. At the end of the day, the biggest narrative is that of rotation of power between the North and South. No region is born to rule over others. The North, through Buhari, did 8 years. This slot belongs to the South. The only alternative is a formidable Southerner. Any Northerner given a presidential ticket in 2027 will lose.

saintokwuluora:
Which means Tinubu and Wike are executing unrestrained looting of Rivers.
Calling others looters but Fubara is a saint to you. Just recently the whole country was made aware of his unappropriated illegal gift to the NBA. Your small brain can't comprehend complex things.
Politics › Re: Rep Solomon demands return of N300m hosting rights to Rivers, criticises NBA by BondRiv: 11:54am On Apr 18, 2025
This leadership has brought shame to the association. Return that money. That's why you guys struggle to get elected.
Politics › Re: Sole Administrator Should Not Rule Beyond 6 Months, Fubara Must Return - Sani by BondRiv: 11:48am On Apr 18, 2025
Are there no problems in Kaduna State? The president will extend the tenure of the sole administrator, if it deems it fit and there's nothing you can do. Meddlesome interloper.
Politics › Re: Rivers: I Cannot Take Orders From A Sole Administrator - Ex-Magistrate George by BondRiv: 11:44am On Apr 18, 2025
You were compulsory retired for Judicial misconduct. Even if it weren't so, Fubara was violating the constitution on a constant basis. Political ex magistrate. Corrupt thing.
Politics › Re: Falana Seeks Immediate Sack Of Ibok-Ete Ibas Over Breach Of Presidential Order by BondRiv: 8:34am On Apr 18, 2025
Go to court and lose as usual. Tell NBA to refund the N300m.

DSS1335:
Before making a hasty conclusion about anyone on this faceless forum, don't be too lazy to do "background check" on such person by going through the person's post and comment on nairaland. I am a full blooded Ikwerre man and top ranking officer in the public service. Wike is someone I have had the privilege of knowing since his time as the council chairman of ObioAkpor. There is nothing I do not know about my kins man. Even some of his classified dealings that the press can not report, I have commented about numerous of them here
The only people supporting Wike today are those political urchins who are directly dependent on him for financial survival, these categories of subhuman can never see good in whatever Fubara is doing in Rivers state as far as they are no longer benefiting from the corrupt system
You can't say that. You asked someone not to make hasty conclusions but you are doing the same callous and irresponsible thing. Don't go about crashing through life with such a flawed mindset.
Politics › Re: Fubara Not Worried, All Ibas Appointees Are Going With Him - Ugochinyere by BondRiv: 9:51pm On Apr 17, 2025
Meddlesome interloper. Still in the business of leading the neophyte astray. Pity.
Politics › Re: ₦300m gift: Go To Court, We'll Meet There, NBA Will Not Refund - Okutepa To Ibas by BondRiv: 9:47pm On Apr 17, 2025
Xannadu:
At the end of the day, you lawyers are no different from the corrupt administration you claim to be against. Your entire argument here is that the government is not legitimate, but the money that comes from it's accounts is legitimate. Then there's the "if Nigerians wants us to refund the money, then they should donate another money to us instead." Show me a better illustration of criminality.

If you guys really have integrity like you seem to delude yourselves, wouldn't it be a better statement of your stand against corruption to not have anything to do with the government funds in order to maintain that facade of independence and autonomy? Are you people trying to say that all the lawyers in Nigeria cannot contribute money towards hosting a single conference?
Not all lawyers are in support of this, so don't generalise. This is a decision taken by the leadership. Which is why they are being asked to return the money for the image of the association.
Politics › Re: ₦300m gift: Go To Court, We'll Meet There, NBA Will Not Refund - Okutepa To Ibas by BondRiv: 9:43pm On Apr 17, 2025
Climax11:
You're a very daft human! I wonder the kind of brain with which you read the news article. Where did you see this in the article "if Nigerians wants us to refund the money, then they should donate another money to us instead?" There are so many other blunders inherent in your comment, such as, where you erroneously belived that it was the Sole Administrator who donated the money, Fubara Sim did, EWU Gambia. I don't even know if you will see this but if you do, just know that you don't have sense.
The money doesn't belong to Fubara, but the state. It should be returned and not subjected to this much argument. The leadership of the NBA is ridiculing the association.
Politics › Re: ₦300m gift: Go To Court, We'll Meet There, NBA Will Not Refund - Okutepa To Ibas by BondRiv: 9:40pm On Apr 17, 2025
Return Rivers State's money and stop disgracing the association. Simple.
Politics › Re: Rivers NBA Chairmen criticise Sole Administrator, allege constitutional breaches by BondRiv: 9:36pm On Apr 17, 2025
Sanctimonious nonsense.

What was your share in the N300m? You have lost the right to criticism until you return that money. Stop deceiving yourselves. You are not different from what you are attacking. This is the unfortunate situation the leadership has put the association.

And the Association of thieves still insist that they won't return the money
It is not an association of thieves. Not all members are in support of this hypocritical position of the leadership of the NBA.
Politics › Re: N2.6bn Gone: Rivers Businesses Count Losses As NBA Pulls Out Over Political Cris by BondRiv: 9:29pm On Apr 17, 2025
NBA benefitted from Fubara's lawlessness by accepting that unappropriated sum. Shame! Return it.

..."Fubara May have to appear before Ibas to give account of his stewardship ". This is the greatest joke I've ever heard since Independence.
Fubara still enjoys immunity, and Ibas as sole administrator is unknown in our constitutional laws!
This is like Ibas is the Rivers State House of Assembly.
Get well soon.
It is always funny to see Fubara's supporters talking about the constitution he desecrated. You guys are not serious.

Politics › Re: Rivers Under Scrutiny As Reps Invite Sole Administrator Ibok-Ete Ibas by BondRiv: 9:28pm On Apr 16, 2025
Unnecessary distraction for someone just settling into his role. This should have been done in June. Considering the recent N300m revelation, Fubara may have to appear before Ibas to give account of his stewardship, then Ibas will have a comprehensive report for the Reps. This is premature.
