The joke of the century will be to say that Fubara is innocent of something. He must be arrested.

Fubara should be arrested immediately. He must answer for orchestrating the bombing of the House of Assembly building with the wanted felon Edison Ehie. All Rivers State funds squandered must be accounted for. There is no way Fubara should return to that seat if Tinubu knows what he is doing. Unfortunately you do not seem to know that the Minister is only in his role as a minister, or an administrative head. The FCT is not like the states of Nigeria, which are headed by elected Governors. It is administered by the Federal Capital Territory Administration, headed by the minister, in this case Wike, who is appointed by the President. It has only one elected Senator, in the name of Mrs. Ireti Kingibe of the Labour Party. If you do not know this very basic, I do not know how to help. There is a difference between an appointees and an elected person. Tinubu can choose to fire Wike any moment, but he cannot firmer Ireti Kingibe, neither can he fire Diri.

The Minister is the "governor" of the FCT, not the president. If we were to follow Diri's precedent, then Wike can also bar him. However, this is just playing around. Diri has no power to stop Wike or anyone from entering Bayelsa. The governor of any state in Nigeria is not Louis XIV.
