DickDastardly: ![]() ... minister of FABU, Abeg Wetin FABU mean ![]() |
jaybee:some people just quote 48 laws anyhow they like without understanding the real meaning of some of those laws. |
ishiamu:no mind am |
maasoap:a wise person would avoid chaos and death in an already chaotic setting. |
braine:and who is the master. |
KAYNINI:hmm |
omenka:my only surprise is that the militants didn't tell us how efcc has not followed the rule of law, the should bring it up to have a Strong defense. but one thing am sure is tompolo wouldn't be jailed. |
babyfaceafrica:na wa o, don't allow hate affect ur judgement, this post is about tompolo and efcc, not Nnamdi and daura or dss. am sure u didn't read the post and forgot even the headline, chai. |
babyfaceafrica:actually they are asking buhari to beg efcc to follow the rule of law in their dealings. |
LoveMachine:those shows truly look nice, u won't even believe it's from aba. |
KAYNINI:ya basically they are asking buhari to tell efcc follow the rule of law in their dealings with tompolo, but its worrisome that the same person they are asking to beg efcc to follow the rule of law seems not to also follow the rule of law. |
WARRI — FORMER Niger Delta militants, weekend, urged President Muhammadu Buhari to prevail on the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, to leave ex-militant leader, Government Ekpemupolo, alias Tompolo, alone and follow the rule of law in its dealings with him. The erstwhile agitators, who met under the auspices of the transformed Niger Delta Ex-militants Forum, asserted that some persons, who were envious of Tompolo, wrote a petition against him to the EFCC, but advised that the commission in the discharge of its duties should respect the rule of law. In a communiqué signed by its national president, Meshach Bebenimibo and others, they said, “We appeal to the President as a matter of urgency to instruct the EFCC to follow due process within 1999 Constitution as amended.” At the meeting held in Warri were Prince Bebenimibo, Bayelsa , Edo, Cross River, Rivers, Akwa Ibom and Ondo coordinators of the group, Peter Ayeebide, Austin Peremobowei, Korebor Minama, Anthony Youbai, Oluwah Michael and Oloye Tamarayende. They said: “We want EFCC to leave Tompolo alone because the petitioners are acting out of jealousy to indict and incarcerate him, that is why they are lying to the whole world that Tompolo sold the land for the building of Nigerian Maritime University, NMU, Okerenkoko.” According to the communiqué, “The petitioners know the truth and the truth is that Tompolo only sold the International Diving Institute buildings at Kurutie community and the place was sand filled before he built the school. Among the structures are lecture halls, multipurpose pavilion, administrative block, vice- chancellor’s lodge and hostels for male and female students.” “The previous government brought valuers and did all necessary legal things and collected VAT money before paying him about 90 per cent as agreed. “We also urge EFCC to have a rethink and defreeze Mieka and GlobalWest accounts.” The group, however, commended President Buhari for his interest in the region, particularly the inclusion of fund for the Amnesty programme in the 2016 Budget presented to the National Assembly, http://www.vanguardngr.com/2015/12/ask-efcc-to-leave-tompolo-alone-ex-militants-beg-buhari/ |
Bollinger:I fear for this country's citizens, millions are literate but not educated, without proper education we are doomed in this country. |
very funny statistics, which automobile sector, that isn't even patronised by govt. |
that's the reason I said apc has destroyed any civil opposition politics on Nigeria, the criticize everything, even at the detriment of the country just to get power, the people I pity are the docile elaborate followers, who see the party as their saviour |
for 4 days, hmm no light in ore for 1 year up till now. |
shamack:this is the same person shouting one Nigeria, but still practising the pull them down syndrome against the same Nigerians. "everything from aba is fake" smh |
pls God help this aba guys. |
.. saraki the action man, indirectly telling apc that ike is going no where. |
only if we allow states control their resources, though it might not be a panacea to be one, bit we can experiment with that. since the days of john the Baptist Nigeria has never been one, the cultural differences is too glaring. this is what Milos Zeeman Czech president said about taking refugees, "I think that we would not have to accept any refugees from countries distant from us in terms of culture. It is quite different with accepting, let’s say, Ukrainians," Zeman said on Wednesday during a meeting with the community of the city of Jihlava. that's the situation with Nigeria, we are living with people whose culture is totally different from every other, especially the north. another way we can be one is if someone people eradicate from their mindset that power belongs to them, that has always led to the unhealthy political struggle leading to division. |
this is what a governor of a state where boko haram is bombing, is more concerned with, why he dumped one criminal looter for another criminal looter. this country smh. such statements should never be in the news, he is there to serve adamawa people not nyako or atiku. |
kayfra:the boundaries of almost all countries where drawn by man reflecting the cultural and various divergent differences of those Countries, in the case of Nigeria, it was done to reflect the desires of some powers. what are the rational secession process |
Nigerian police, more in the news for crimes they committed than crimes they solve. smh |
well if they can continue this game like this between themselves, the world would have more peace. ![]() |
cool |
give us full details on why people would go to jail for his crimes, these days the truth is so scarce. |
janellemonae:Good. next time don't be quick to condemn and conclude, even though I detest the approach of the ipob abi kanu, that doesn't mean that I should turn blind eyes to evil being perpetrated towards his people, the topic was about the Akanu ibiam airport but because of ur hate for a tribe, u concluded that it was an ipob agenda and term everyone who shares the view of the author of that article, as ipob. buhari doesn't need to hold a press conference he is doing it with his military gangs. am glad u said "u personally" the problem is not you allowing people to go, the problem is the criminals in power who always use their soldiers to try to suppress the self determination probably to cause a conflict. no one wants a conflict before leaving, but ur oga at the top thinks differently, despite that it's a gradual process which would some day be achieved. |
janellemonae:ur argument is ignoratio elenchi, read well before u quote, so the Jan coup was successful, ok. states controlling what they have is the only way for unity (that's if it is possible) is what I wrote, since u guys are saying Nigeria must be one, that's the condition for being one, but some parasites have always refused, your fellow one Nigeria colleagues said to me that Nigeria must be one at all cost, so that was the condition given, "are we not leaving the zoo anymore" the question should be why are u guys preventing people from leaving the zoo. since the argument has always been that those people tarnish the image of the zoo. why not let them go. as long as u and ur one Nigeria colleagues continue to suppress the rights of people to leave this man made entity, u would continue to get conditions like the "each state must control its resources ".. |
janellemonae:a strong centre in the 60s, the coup wasn't successful so it never happened, azikiwe preached it, but it never happened. those guys including ironsi were trying to see if that could bring unity to this country, but unfortunately their efforts were rubbished because some people felt they own Nigeria. we are in the 21st century now, state controlling what they have is the only way for unity (if its ever possible), in this country. I still don't know why that also is difficult. some people are just comfortable surviving from what isn't theirs. I think that's the reason for this preaching of one Nigeria. |
obailala:so why the opposition, which powerful nations are planning to merge, hope u aren't thinking e.u. the situation in Nigeria is the same with what the Czech president said about accepting refugees into his country. according to Milos Zeeman " "I think that we would not have to accept any refugees from countries distant from us in terms of culture. It is quite different with accepting, let’s say, Ukrainians," Zeman said on Wednesday during a meeting with the community of the city of Jihlava... that's the situation in Nigeria, the cultural difference is even more than what u see, but because some people (foreign and locals) benefit from the divided unity, we must remain one. Nigeria can only remain one if all states control what they have and not hoping on a centre controlled by parasites and unintelligent leaders. when this happens u will find out that those saying we must be one would be the ones screaming for disintegration. |
obailala:ok, since u brought balkanization, why is the north and west afraid of balkanization of this man-made entity called Nigeria. |
