Ugomba:
'Who is Minister of State for Petroleum, is he not Igbo? Who's Gov of Central Bank? Is he not Igbo? Who's Minister of Labour, Science and technology?
''What do the Igbos want?"

Now This question from Buhari has hit hard on those who think that they can use we Aniomas as a "willing tool" to drive their Anti- Igbo agenda.
- One of them is on Nairaland, his wish is to wipe out Igbo identity in South South because they thought that these SS geopolitical region was created as a "thank you"gift for their betraying prowess in the Old Rivers State.
- How can a man who come from a tribe that is know historically as "Boat Settlers" and swamp dwellers have the guts to write about who is Igbo or not in the SS and about the Igbo land..
I read his past posts and saw where he was dragging Ndoki history, now he want to cross into Anioma land and cause division in our Anioma family.
They should keep their rubbish in Rivers state and do not dare bring it to our Anioma Land or Delta state.
Our Igboid connection is why Aniomas have been holding lucrative positions in the Federal Government.
We are NOT a minority group.
We are an Igboid Group and Proudly Delta Igbos who will continue to unite ourselves.

I guess you didn't see the part where it is written that "some are there because the judge decides that they are too dangerous". While the others are there because they cannot afford bail. In the case of Dasuki, and Kanu, the judge didn't see them as too dangerous to the society therefore granting them bail.
Or is Buhari now a judge ?
no mind am, some people find it difficult to assimilate written words.

it doesn't matter if Gistmo is in US territory. A US court has order for their release by the US government refused because they feel they are too much of a security risk. Those detainees are covered by US laws because they are been detain by the US govt
no matter how you see it, the u.s knows it can't hold them for long inside the united States, thereby building a detention camp in an isolated island.

The allegation is, she's passing the drug to her daughter during breastfeeding which has been going on for sometime with the baby receiving treatment in Dubai. So why is Davido the one to get tested? Or the Momodus know there's truth to the allegation, and their daughter can't pass drug test? Shouldn't the mother of the baby coming out to offer to take drug test to clear the air of "an unfit mother" that's over her if she's clean?
they both should go for drug test, if u read the write up, the baby mama agreed for a test, which davido's dad ignored.

to show u the level of irrationality with most Nigerians, they were already siding with davido, even after dele momodu's epistle.

davido and his family wanted to use wealth to intimidate the baby mama, thank God for dele momudu, its just exactly the experience average Nigerians face in the hands of the wealthy.

davido should do the test as requested by momodu to know who fed the daughter marijuana.

The U.S has the world's LARGEST MILLITARY in terms of millitary equipment, the WORLD'S MOST MORDERN MILITARY in terms of most modern war machines,

The U.S has the world's SECOND LARGEST MILLITARY in terms of man power (close to 2MILLION personnel) CHINA being the first due to higher population U.S HAS THE WORLD'S MOST SOPHISTICATED MILLITARY HAVING MILLITARY BASES ON ALMOST EVERY CONTINENT

80% OF RUSSIA'S MILLITARY HARDWARE COMES FROM THE OLD SOVIET ERA

THE ENTIRE RUSSIAN MILLITARY SIZE IS LIKE 1/10 OF U.S MILLITARY
THE ENTIRE RUSSIAN ECONOMIC SIZE IS 1/40 OF U.S AS WORLD'S LARGEST ECONOMY

THE ONLY THREAT AND LEVERAGE RUSSIA HAS IS NUCLEAR WARHEADS,

RUSSIA JUST DON'T WANT TO ADMIT THE LOST THE COLD WAR, AS MOST FORMER MEMBER COUNTRIES OF THE SOVIET UNION ARE NOW U.S ALLIES

ALWAYS LOOKING FOR EVERY OPPORTUNITY TO COMPETE WITH AMERICA

NO MATTER THE NUMBER OF INNOCENT LIVES LOST IN A CONFLICT.

THIS IS SHEER WICKEDNESS. prove me wrong.
all this is what you hear and see in the western dominated news media.

unlike the u.s the Russians advertise less their strength but does that with action, just like they are doing in Syria surprising even the u.s and the world. let the u.s continue showing off, even a u.s official has said that Russia is more prepared in any case of a nuclear war than the u.s and NATO. but u don't know how they are more prepared because they don't use media propaganda.

there was a pact with the russians which the u.s and NATO broke, not coming close to Russian borders.

but all we see is the US using NATO to try and encircle Russia, I think where the u.s crossed the read line was Ukraine. any responsible govt would react the way Russia did to protect its territorial sovereignty and national interest, unlike a foolish leader in Nigeria who dashed out his countries territory to another country in this 21st century.

PoliticsMilitary Coup : On This Day 31st December 1983, Buhari Installed by bonechamberlain(op): 12:14pm On Dec 31, 2015
On the 31st of December 1983, a military coup was staged, ousting a democratically elected president shehu shagari and installing a military general, major general Muhammad buhari. whose tenure was cut short in less than two years, by another military junta, for "almost similar" reasons playing out in this day 31st december 2015.

in this day 2015 he was elected democratically, but still shows signs of a military head of state.

the past always has a way of returning. Those who don't learn, or can't remember it, are doomed to repeat it. ...

may God save this country from repetition of negative history.

buari dullaard is an unrepentant dictator. See he's media chat. D dullard keeps talking about 1984, as if he was not d same ruler dat was booted out with songs of joy on d streets.
for the fact that people still support such a man, shows you that Nigeria can never develop, especially when a large majority of the citizens are irrational thinkers. the extremist buhari would keep talking of 1984 because he hasn't realized that this is the 21st century.

how does political appointees touch the lives of the people?

see how David Mark can't win an election in his district after 16years

The issue is FG presence in the region not appointment
if u think there would be any fg presence in the south east under any hausa Fulani leader, better wake up, its a deliberate attempt to make the south east economically unviable. only under an igbo president or a rational thinking Yoruba leader would that be achieved.

am not concerned about the letter of kanu, the man lacked decorum and wisdom, what am more concerned about is the disgraceful utterances of buhari in that interview, he has now become the prosecutor and the judge, we are going back to dictatorship under buhari. this buhari led govt would continue to divide the unity of this country until it gets to the place of no return.
PoliticsRe: Igbos Should Explain How They Are Being Marginalized – Buhari by bonechamberlain(m): 8:06am On Dec 31, 2015
Teddeebear:
buhari made a huge blunder in his response to the question?

it is saddening to hear the buhari say that by giving political offices to individuals the district which the individual hails is well treated.

How does giving political offices to selfish politicians benefit the common man, how many of these politicians reach out to their people expect during another election period.

Buhari should be listing possible FG projects that he wants to embark on in the region that will touch their lives.

Moreover, the people have nothing much to show in terms of FG presence in their region for 100years and about 55yrs independence, they also have the right to decide not to be a part of Nigeria.

He should rather call for a conference, where our existence as a country should be negotiated, if after 100yrs, some people call themselves igbos, Yorubas and hausas with their own agenda, one claiming to be superior to another, then Nigeria is a joke.

These ethnic issues and tribalism should be handled seriously else our problems will persist.
the man buhari is a stain to any form of unity in, Nigeria, so to him appointing people to offices based on constitutional requirements means they are not being marginalized. let me stop here, for now and cool my head, angry

And i hope you have a boundry definition of what you call Niger Delta. The oil politics that divided igboland will soon be over and the boundry between igboland and your Niger delta(mainly ijaws) will be drawn.

I thank God my people has always been proud of their igboness despite being in Rivers state. The future holds good for us as igbos with the help of our naturally endowed "survival instincts/spirit"

we are developing.
We are expanding.
We are progressing.

Lest i forget. Obigbo is the satelite town of porthacourt. We are doing Good Infrastructurally and otherwise.
What does the future hold for polluted ijaw land?

Wasnt igboland producing palm oil?

Dont igboland have a seaport at porthacourt?

Somalia has the longest coastline in africa but where are they?

Doesnt igboland have more gas reserves and solid minerals than ijaw land?

Dont we have the human resource?

You once said that igbos lack bargaining chips, so what will be your peoples bargaining chips when pure water is more costly than toxic crude?

We are majorities, we can never loose in this game just like the yorubas and hausas though we have our political differences with them. Minority will always remain minority, they will continue to be pawns in the cheese board of Nigeria

You know what? Eurobomber was right!
well-done, oil made the n.Delta lazy and loose focus, their problem is that they have no precise stand, hence they are being used by all tribes, though the igbos have tried to teach them sense but the have refused to learn.

I pray they wake up now, and see the hand writing that has been written for long on the walls.

Have you heard of Pegged Exchange Rate ??
It's a type of Exchange Rate regime where a currency's value is fixed against either the value of another single currency.
In a fixed exchange-rate system, a country’s central bank typically uses an open market mechanism and is committed at all times to buy and/or sell its currency at a fixed price in order to maintain its pegged ratio and, hence, the stable value of its currency in relation to the reference to which it is pegged. The central bank provides the assets and/or the foreign currency or currencies which are needed in order to finance any payments imbalances.
The last large economy to use a fixed exchange rate system was the People's Republic of China which, in July 2005, adopted a slightly more flexible exchange rate system called a managed exchange rate. The European Exchange Rate Mechanism is also used on a temporary basis to establish a final conversion rate against the Euro (€) from the local currencies of countries joining the Eurozone.
Jamaica, United kingdom and the United States of America also used the method.

I wish i can see you face to face so i can seize your degree and send your ass back to primary school
the policy might be good, but the first thing a responsible govt should do is to support production, ensure. steady power supply, create an alternative for does abroad on how they can use their money, Nigeria is not in a good shape for this kind of policy, buhari wants to climb a 15 steps ladder by skipping 13 steps.

am sure this can never make naira strong against the dollar as long as we export almost nothing only oil.

Not true. Successful countries like USA, Russia, China, India and Brazil do not represent homogeneous cultures. People just got out of their primitive state of minds and learned to live together.

Let the people that represent you in a government ask for a referendum. Your fight should be convincing them or getting them out of office.
