smh , very funny poll.. right now Nigeria is witnessing its longest fuek scarcity, to travel abroad these days is something else as ur budget can be rendered useless the next day when dollar increases, to find dollar is something else, to use ATM cards for foreign transactions is now a problem. Nigeria imports virtually everything, yet the govt is trying to blackout the dollar.

these guys better look for a job to do, this poll is crap.

Lol.. the nation is currently in a major recession as the reserves of forex we have is dwindling rapidly and we dont have enough inflow of forex due to oil price crash. If measures are not taken to curb the outflow of forex, in just a matter of months, there would be no forex to buy essential commodities such as food and the nation would be plunged into a major humanitarian crises with people standing on 2-days long queues to get a bowl of rice to feed their families. The CBN and FG is struggling to manage and prevent this situation from happening and you think they are the "most ruthless, wicked, parochial and self centered govt in Nigeria's history" all because you want to buy choice goods?

I suggest you save your money and stock your barns with enough food because 'winter is coming,' in fact, winter is already here.
. an intelligent govt would encourage and support production, before implementing all this harsh policies. all this policies of govt is totally useless as long as Nigeria imports everything. what do we even produce in this country, producers themselves are finding it hard in this country, if u aren't a dangote or otedola to get a loan from banks is totally impossible, with their ridiculous repayment plans. those are the things a responsible govt ought to address before implementing such policies.

BusinessRe: International Spend Restriction On Naira Card: What Is The Implication Of This? by bonechamberlain(m): 1:26pm On Dec 20, 2015
we are in trouble in this country.. so I can't spend my money in buying my choice of goods because its price tag is in dollar. this is the most ruthless, wicked, parochial and self centered govt in Nigeria's history.

the buhari led govt is lamenting that the last govt looted Nigeria that's why we are In this suffering state. yet only $2.1 billion is what this govt is still pursuing out of the whole money generated or looted by the past govt for 6 years. according to Apc the looted $2.1 billion is the cause if our present economic woes. money that is not up to a budget of a state. we no longer hear of $10 bill, $20 bill cause such money weren't missing, just like the chibok scam. what apc have been able to figure out is $2.1bill which is still a case in court.

this govt should accept that it is clueless on running the Nigerian economy. only buhari and apc knows their intention for seizing power, cause I strongly believe it's not for the interest of Nigeria. until they achieve whatever mission the wish to achieve, Nigerians should prepare for a very big farmine

All in a bid to perfect the plan, dont ask me what plan because you already know. In an election where you have one candidate clearly sweeping the poll suddenly from no where one local government now produces a result that rubbishes all other polls conducted one must ask how come.
. if INEC cannot conduct an election for a local govt in a small state like bayelsa, within few weeks then we are in trouble in this country.

rigging that election In bayelsa is a call for violence.

PoliticsIjaw, Itsekiri Leaders Vow To Shut Down Shell Operations by bonechamberlain(op): 11:39am On Dec 17, 2015
WARRI—SCORES of embittered Ijaw and Itsekiri
ethnic groups in Delta State have threatened to
shut down all Shell Petroleum Development
Company, SPDC, operations in their land, if the
Anglo-Dutch oil company fails to comply with the
agreement reached with them some time ago.

Addressing newsmen, yesterday in Warri, the
people, under the aegis of their Forum also
indicted Shell for allegedly instigating crisis
among the host communities with its divide and
rule antics.

Mr Moses Eduogha and Fregene Emiko, who
jointly signed a statement, argued that they were
mostly annoyed that Shell refused to honour a
peace meeting summoned by Governor Ifeayi
Okowa and the host communities on December
15, 2015.

“We see SPDC’s action as a big slap on both the
governor’s face and ours. We decided to tell the
whole world that Shell is definitely looking for
trouble. Our people are already agitated and we
will give them fire for fire.

“Host communities have been impoverished. You
can imagine a situation where our contractors are
made to renew their contract papers on yearly
basis with nothing to show for it,” the forum
leaders said.

They said that neither Ijaw nor Itsekiri is directly
involved in any contract, rather the company staff
engages their cronies to do the job local
contractors are supposed to do.

“Activities of Shell were capable of causing crisis
among the host communities. Nigeria’s local
content law is not working in Shell as the workers
have turned contractors,” they said.

According to them, aggrieved youths are already
beating war drums, adding that Shell should
immediately respect the agreement reached, “else
they will be flushed out from our land.
“Shell’s action is an open invitation to crisis,” they
added.

Give details why Gil shouldn't have won. It's my Senatorial district and I'm interested in the outcome. I don't think that Nnamani is a good alternative though.
the only achievement of Gil since being in the Senate is building a wonderful edifice for himself, pls be sincere to yourself, nnamani I believe should also quit politics but looking at the other alternative, nnamani is far better.

everyone knows there was no election in Nike, agbakpa, and its environ.
