Hi Guys, Need to get one of these for my ..., which do y'all think is more fashionable, would make a nice gift... You know an everyday bag. Just like or comment on the one you prefer, thanks. |
WebSurfer:Da Fuq,mehn... i don't even know how to being to respond to this. How did Amaechi confess his sin, who saved him Was any amount refunded, has a verdict being given to all his corrupt cases.I ain't partisan, i don't support any party (for now), just anxiously waiting for Nigeria to get better. But it irritates me when individuals talk like this, and it further irritates me that some individuals liked the post. In politics, there's no repent, and your sins have been forgiven, defecting to another party DOES NOT IN ANYWAY CLEANSE YOU OF ANY SIN, CORRUPT CASE OR ATROCITIES YOU MIGHT HAVE COMMITTED IN YOUR PREVIOUS PARTY. SO ROTIMI AMEACHI DOESN'T BECOME A SAINT BY SIMPLE DEFECTING TO APC, OR BY SIMPLY PLAYING AN INSTRUMENTAL ROLE IN THE PAST ELECTION. i aint against the dude, i dont even know if hes corrupt (until he is convicted) but i just had to respond to that your annoying post. ![]() |
abiolaoladipupo:What is your problem?? So not having a husband is a useless life... Gosh... U need CHANGE ... |
asuustrike2009:I beg to disagree, so long as Apple continues to target the rich class, it will continue to thrive. Rich folks all around the world, Nigeria inclusive, buy Apple products not for their features but because its a 'class thing'. Secondly do you know that alot of companies in the us use Apple products as the official brand. Employee are given iphones for work lines, macbook and imac for office systems and even in most of their universities to study programs like Engineering and audio visuals you must have a macbook. |
lordizak:You said it all, Apples major market is the US. The US is the 3rd most populous, has a population of over 300million... Once you have this market, your business is secure, secure the US and your sale will skyrocket. Recall blackberry, when it had the US market it was the largest seller of phones, once it lost it, they tried to focus on African and developing chimes, which didnt work and they eventually sold out. American industries , schools, institutes and the overall population patronize Apple, this keeps them on float. Techno is trying to acheive same with Africa, might work... |
Ray360:You are just the best, your choice of words reflects intelligence and your message is on point.... are you a psychologist... or you'be had personal experience on the topic. |

Hi guys, Just receive this email, identified it was fraudulent, and decided to broadcast. This is one of the new modes of 419, a mail is sent with a format akin to banks, the message either saying your atm card will soon be suspended or your BVN number is urgently needed. A link is provided and it opens a page quiet similar to your banking site usually asking you to input your online banking I.D and password. Please guys help rebroadcast many Nigerians particularly the elderly folk might fall prey. Tips to identify fraudulent bank emails: 1) the sender's email address doesn't follow the usual convention, verified bank emails should come from an email with the domain name of the bank. E.g @zenithbank.com; @fidelitybankplc.com; @accessbankplc.com; @gtbank.com. Anything short of this usually fraud. (See pic attached) 2) when you click on the link sent, though the interface of the website might resemble that of your bank, the web address is usually not linked to or related in any form to that of your bank. Rather than see accessbankplc.com/.../... you see something like http://oh.vl/pwql. Hope this helps...

ihatesycophant:Common sense should also tell you that as a contractor i provide my account for payment, i don't have to confirm the source of payment. If i want to run an advert on AIT, the account number is there for me to pay, once i make payment i take the teller and follow the process. It hasn't been disclosed how the payment was made, if it was a bank transfer, was the amount transferred from the official NSA account, or from Dasuki personal account (as per the allegation). let me orient you about political parties, in preparation for any election funds are raised and distributed amongparty members for electioneering. Has it occurred to you that the recipients might have been oblivious to the fact that the money was appropriated by the finance minister for BH. Dude, the brain is for thinking, no just to fill the space in your head. |
Nuezha:Please are you an agent ![]() |
Can i get an email address to correspond with? |
yimikaa:When Nigerians like you talk. I am marvelled.. There is no politician in the history of Nigeria that EFCC cannot find a case on. Even we average Nigerians in our various work life might have at one time performed an act of corruption (note that corruption entails beyond embezzlement of funds). So now you expect people to be quiet for fear of probe. No politician in Nigeria is clean... Intimidation should not keep you quiet, only a coward does that. I am not encouraging corruption, while I applaud the arms scandal persecution, I hope this administration can also probe its party members. We don't need a slope sided anti graft agency. |
...He is absolutely right.... Changing political party doesn't cleanse you of all your previous atrocities or transform you to a saint... Nigerian politicians decamp to political parties not based on ideologies but based on which party holds the federal power. Alao Akala is a classic example, why decamp to APC after elections if not for 2019.. Saraki's sister decamped immediately election results were announced. The list is endlesss. I blame the recipient political party though, and I am glad Nigerians are becoming more politically conscious. |
. Please do we have lawyers in the house. Let's assume peradventure the people mentioned collected the sum, are they really guilty of any crime. For any election people raise money, so if money is distributed to various party chairmen for campaign, are they now expected to ask for the source of the money? To me the only guilty person here is the government official that diverted the funds (if true) and not the beneficiary. Because if I am an imam / pastor at Dasuko mosque or church (as the case might be) and he drops a magnanimous offering (hypothetically), would EFCC summon me too? These people collected the money to perform a job, just like we give a bricklayer money to build a house, does he ask the source or rather proceed to construction. So all this glamour by forumites for their prosecutiom to me carries no water... This is my 2cents, house what do you think.... |

raumdeuter:I don't quite agree with you, a wise man once said "a lizard in Nigeria is a lizard in America", while i agree that the US might offer more opportunities with a more enabling environment, with determination and tact you can achieve a lot in Nigeria. If we all heed your advice and migrate there will be no Nigeria, so please lets stay here and work together to make Nigeria our own America. Thanks all for your advice, tips and encouragement, ppreciate it… Hopefully more Nigerian institutions would migrate to electronic system of data management. @DonTim1 your comment was wow, thanks for taking the time to elaborate on what’s obtainable in the Nigerian environment. @SylarsMcQuins I quite understand what you mean, some comments just have no correlation. Well I guess they still took out time to comment (regardless of how irrelevant), so I’ll still thank them for that. @Creatrixity – You are probably right, it’s the same reason most SMEs couple the administrative and human resources department together, to save cost on personnel and stuff. I guess they’re doing same with software developers. annnnnd thanks mods for moving this to FP ![]() |
Hi guys, Its common knowledge that the IT sector in Nigeria is expanding; but it seems, in terms of the job market, there are more vacancies for software developers than for database administrators. Please guys working in an IT firm/sector should enlighten us, are companies not using MYSQL or SQL server ? Thanks. |
I also have an Xperia z, it's pretty nice and was very affordable. I ordered mine from Amazon as it was too expensive in Nigeria. Pros: camera, keyboard, waterproof, sexy color (purple), and mega slim. It's one of the slimmest smartphones. Cons: price in Nigeria, lack of accessories in Nigeria, I was unable to get any accessories for this phone except the charger in Nigeria. Had to resort to Amazon again. To me the main reason Sony phones don't thrive in Nigeria is due to lack of awareness. I only got to know about the phone because I am a gadget geek. They don't advertise and stuff. What people don't know they cannot buy. The latest Sony phone Xperia Z5 (my dream phone) 23mp camera, waterproof, Octa core processor... I am loving it. |

Hmm... I dislike questions like this. Mr. Man, if we respond by staying 'there's no hope', Will that really stop you or the person with a 3rd class from applying for jobs. Its common sense, a 3rd class is not impressive, it gives an immediate impression to everyone; what you can do is tactically avoid it, by not including it on your CV, just state your degree and omit the grade. Also personal development is important, get additional qualifications or certifications if you cannot yet obtain a masters degree. My 2 cents. |
jaid23:Have you tried Windows 10 battery saver mode, it limits background activity and push notification(this really consumes battery power especially when synced with your email accounts). |
JigsawKillah:Yea it's possible, so long as your system meets other hardware and software requirements. |
Hi guys, Now, i am a computer geek ; and i just got my hands on the new windows 10 OS... Mehn O Mehn, do i just love this. Like many others, i wasn't too pleased with windows 8 or 8.1 as it was a drastic change from the simplistic windows 7 and added a lot of bloatware (pre-installed software) that needed regular update and stuff... I just didn't really like it, though it was still more user friendly than the Mac OS (Gosh who uses this, so so annoying). Back to windows 10... 1) Redesigned User interface - The interface is just wow, its like a sync of windows 7 (the start menu and stuff) and windows 8 (the icon feature, a plus particularly when using a touchscreen). The action center not only shows you new notifications, it enables you access quick settings like bluetooth, power, wifi, and other settings. It has a more sophisticated look, from the icons, to the file explorer, basically everything looks different. 2) Cortana - the clever personal assistant (might not be like Siri, but its still cool). It makes computer use more interactive. And as most computer geeks are introverts, its a lovely automated friend. 3) Shutting down made easy - I cannot begin to count how many people have asked me how to restart, log off or shut down their system using windows 8 OS. Most had no clue about the charms bar, often resorted to the "hard" power off, by holding the PC power button until the systems shuts down. With Windows 10, its very similar to windows 7. 4) The return of the Taskbar: Its for this reason i call windows 10 the new windows 7. The taskbar makes using a system more functional, it now also has a search bar and eases access to major settings. Thank God no more charms bar, all former charms functions are now contained in a new notification panel called the Action Center. It is now easily launched from the notification area of the taskbar. 5) Onedrive: Onedrive is now more accessible, right from the taskbar. This is my online flash drive, aids accessing files from multiple systems. Now Onedrive is incorporated in File explorer (btw file explorer is also revamped, showing only files you access frequently, not the boring deterministic nature before). 6) Task view: for those of you like me that use Alt+Tab or Windows+Tab to switch between active windows applications without having to use the mouse, now windows 10 introduces a task view which has a permanent icon on the taskbar. It does the same function as the windows+tab, enables you cycle through your desktop and apps. It basically displays an app overview, what is even cooler about the Task view is that you can now cycle through multiple desktops. 7) Tablet mode: It for this reason i cannot wait for black friday to get my Toshiba Satellite Radius 14 (i love that 2 in 1), with Windows 10 when windows senses you are not using a keyboard or mouse it launches Tablet mode, and all apps automatically appear full screen. The feature is called Continuum. Now i am getting tired ; there are many many many more cool features of Windows 10, but mehn, i got other things to do, so take your time and upgrade to windows 10 (ITS FREE) and begin to enjoy what i am enjoying.Peace out....

No offence intended, but from your post you seem to have fallen for him. Or maybe you are just fond of him. The truth is that the more time you spend with someone of the opposite sex, the more the laws of attraction take place. I would recommend you keep your distance, find another tutor. It is never ideal to get too close to a married man, the brain works funny, soon you will get emotionally attached (if you aren't already). In other news @DrFinn pls are you married, if no... Hmmm that would be interesting... ![]() |
Hmm... Truth be told, it's actually an awkward feeling, you try to totally ignore it, hoping the person does same. I think apologizing would make such situation worse off. |
Hmm... Definitely a man that wouldn't cheat (b), not that they don't exist, they are just damn hard to find. Surprisingly the ones that you can trust you don't really love. Life, all an irony. |
This is really creative... I so love this... Pls lalasticlala this deserves front page... |
macminista:Dude do your research, NIBSS via Oisservices are currently registering customers regardless of bank in America- Washington, Atlanta, (though yet to start in New York), South Africa, China, Australia, Malaysia and Italy. Representatives I believe would should start in New York. |
