disciplined girls look for guys with prospects. Don't always approach a relationship based on how much a guy can spend on you. TravelRe: Plane Touches Down At Akwa Ibom For 1st Time! (video) by bonnez(m): 10:15am On Oct 30, 2009
FlamingGun:
Many who have made negative comments about the airport miss the point. About 80% of Calabar airport patronage is from Akwa Ibom State. The Uyo airport will give them a fair alternative to going to Calabar on a terrible federal road (yes, federal. It is Abuja's responsibility to fix that road - and it takes three to four hours to travel the 80 odd kilometers to get to Calabar, depending on weather conditions, not counting the threat of armed robbery). I am writing from experience. Building the airport is one of the more forward-thinking things that the past and current administration in the state have done. Moreover, as someone rightly pointed out, it hosts an MRO facility which, hopefully, will help Nigeria(ns) save some money and acquire technical skills.

Are the people right to be happy? Who is to judge? If happiness is seeing an aircraft land and takeoff for the first time and being able to tell the story to one's folk, why not? Perhaps most of those present may never fly, but that does not prevent them from sharing the moment. You need not walk on the moon to be happy it shines!
God Bless you. i don't know why people cannot just read a post and move on if they have nothing reasonable to say. must we always express negativity? most peolpe who have commented on this post are doing so out of sheer ignorance. I hail and reside in Akwa Ibom so i know what i'm saying.

WHY DO YOU HAVE TO BE ENSLAVED TO A LIFESTYLE THAT LEAVES YOU WITH CONSEQUENCES YOU CANNOT HANDLE?? i aint against alcohol consumption in totality but learn to consume what your system can handle. there's no point drinking to impress your friends when you suffer severe consequences of such. EducationRe: Philosophy As A Course? Mainly For Philosophy Student by bonnez(m): 1:34pm On Sep 28, 2009
@ post
I'm currently studying Philosophy in University of Uyo. just like you, i had some misconceptions about the course b4 i started but now, I'm glad its what i went for. what you are feeling could be described by Francis Bacon as "idols" - misconceptions that distort knowledge. so open up your mind and embrace the course with open arms.
note: philosophy, just like any other course on campus is not difficult, neither is it easy. it all depends on your level of seriousness as a student
RomanceRe: God Save These Girls by bonnez(m): 1:59pm On Sep 24, 2009
so whats the news?? are those journalists that patronised those girls not encouraging it? besides why has it got to be calabar of all places?? this happens all over nigeria.
besides, we should stop castigating all these girls afterall it is the men that patronise them. my view is that if we men stop patronising them, they'll eventually run outta business and change.

so sound it aloud to all men to stop patronizing "these girls". shame on the men who do

RomanceRe: I Wanted To Leave My Girlfriend For This Girl by bonnez(m): 11:00am On Apr 15, 2009
you never realise the value of what you have until you loose it
see what Angel you thought you found has turned into??
my advice is this: LEAVE THIS GIRL ALONE, GO BACK TO YOUR GIRLFRIEND AND LEARN TO LOVE HER AS SHE IS AND HELP HER TO CHANGE
love's not about findind the perfect person but loving the imperfect person perfectly. love is a challenge. if you ever loved your girlfriend, take the challenge cos the true test of love is in times of problems.
that other girl does not love you cos if she does, she wouldn't do things to hurt you.

i don't use the past to judge people. what she may have done b4 meeting me doesn't matter so long as she does it no more since she met me and there's no health risk.

No one's perfect. sometimes we guys loose some good girls due to our pride
always learn to give a second chance.
Jobs/VacanciesRe: Why Wouldn't I Want To Work For First Bank? by bonnez(m): 2:57pm On Apr 09, 2009
sorry guys you actually may not like my reply

First Bank is the last Bank I would run an Account with. That would only happen only if every other bank in Naija folds up remaining them alone (which will never be.)

Yes it may be the strongest bank and all of that but a 21st century bank that has no regards for customer service has a long way to go. why would i spend hours in a banking hall just to cash a simple cheque of less than a million?? go to banks such as Bank PHB, Skye Bank, etc and cash your money within minutes.

First Bank is just too archaic for my liking. same thing goes for Union Bank.

this is my opinion and i have a right to it.
you may differ, i really do not care.
RomanceRe: How Do I Carry On? I Can't Cope Anymore! by bonnez(m): 12:54pm On Apr 07, 2009
@poster
sorry man. you refused to disvirgin her cos u loved her but did she reciprocate? HELL NO instead she gave it to someone else.

lesson no. 1: women do not like gentlemen instead, every woman feels an uncontrollable attraction for the man that can bring out the beast (i mean sexual beast) in her. you do not need to be a gentleman to achieve this. i'm saying it from experience.

JUST LET HER GO. she does not feel attraction for you anymore simply cos u aint man enough for her. she's found other people who can do the job better.

hope u've learnt some lessons.
FamilyIf You Were Born In May by bonnez(op): 6:48pm On Mar 31, 2009
Hi Nairalanders!

i just realized that the wonderful month of May is here again so i decided to start this thread to celebrate May people because there's something unique about them.
so if you were born in May, reach out to your fellow birth-month-mates.
I was born on the 4th of May, it was a friday night. i'm a kind of quiet fellow maybe i'll gather few friends for a drink or something. i really do not know yet.
looking back, i realise how far I've gone. God is faithful isn't HE??
so May people share your birthdays and how you wish to celebrate it here.

waiting . . . . . cheesy smiley smiley wink cheesy cheesy
