In the army, a General is more luxurious than a private. I guess in every other sector, General means suffering and private is synonymous to luxury. |

Christianity Etc › Re: The Difference Btwn Religiosity And Spirituality! Christ Is More Than Mere Talk! by boolet: 12:27pm On Apr 21, 2015 |
kay1one2: Religions thrive on the collective effort of the human will! Everybody has had an experience with resolutions that eventually get broken. That is a clear cut example that the human will or resolve has limits. Religions try to use the human will/resolve to achieve a state of righteousness/sinlessness while still trying to attain productivity. That has been proven impossible over the ages. Now human will has its place. But without the empowerment gotten through faith in Christ and the in filling of the Holy Spirit, it's impossible to live a sin-free life. Even Judaism, the religion given to the Jews by God Himself could not give man righteousness. That is why Christ still had to come in the form of human flesh to the same Jews who claimed to already know God, to die and hence by that sacrifice open up a way to God the Father for all mankind. This concept is something even the religious Jews of today find hard to phantom.
No one can make it through life alone. Accept Jesus today and become empowered for victorious living through the power in the Holy Spirit! You did not make any point clear. Why did Jesus have to come? |
