The answer is, because there's nothing to show except MOUs, oshiomhole built a five star benin central hospital which was commissioned by buhari during obaseki's campaign, what did obaseki do to the hospital on resumption, he locked the hospital for good three years for no reason and when he eventually opened it he handed it over to private investors, as we speak a common edolite can't access medical healthcare in the benin central hospital, the benin water storm project is a 30 billion naira project initiated by the oshiomhole adm to check the incessant flooding in Benin which was the biggest state govt project in the whole of Nigeria during his tenure, obaseki came and discontinued that project and today flooding is something else in Benin, new buildings were erected by the oshiomholes adm at the new era girls college in place of the dilapidated buildings in the school but obaseki came in and locked all the new buildings for no reason just because they were built by oshiomhole and those innocent pupils still learn under leaking roofs, oshiomhole transformed EDO state, if not for oshiomhole Benin city would have been an eye sore, oshiomhole transformed benin to a city in a local context and it has been like that since he left without obaseki doing nothing to improve on what he met on ground, oshiomhole worked in the whole of the three senatorial districts, if you've been to Auchi or any part of EDO north you will see oshiomholes signatory projects scattered everywhere, oshiomhole is the best thing that has ever happened to EDO state in terms of governance, when other state were bickering on paying the then new minimum wage of 18,000 naira, oshiomhole was the only state governor in Nigeria paying 25,000 naira minimum wage, I am from EDO and I don't kNow were you get the drift that edolites are supporting obaseki, what obaseki does is to pay social media influncers and praise singers to call him beautiful names and nothing more, apart from the 55mw ossiomo power project which is even a ppa partly owed by the Chinese, there's nothing obaseki has done in EDO state worthy of mentioning, the few roads he built were substandard and was washed away by flood, don't be deceived edolites are with him, his ondo state counterpart said he's ready for a direct primary because he's sure he's popular and would win but why is obaseki scared of a direct primary if he's popular and loved by edolites? Baba forget story, obaseki is worse off than yahaya Bello, Benin is gradually degrading to how it was pre-oshiomhole because of obaseki's incompetence, maybe you hate oshiomhole because of his looks but truth be told oshiomhole is a blessing to EDO state, before oshiomhole edolites who has never travelled out of EDO state never knew what a walk way was but he came with a standard that makes every major road he constructed came with a walkway, since the inception of obaseki's government the only thing that can be attributed to his name is fight, he fight everybody, he introduced the use of explosives in bombing opponent's buildings, he destroys hotels, homes, business places of opponents, seizes c of o of oppositions, even seized the c of o of James iboris house in GRA Benin because the man didn't allow his backyard entrance into PDP, wouldn't a popular over decamp to another party to fly the ticket but obaseki, no, he knows he's nothing without APC in EDO, he's loved by his people but he lost his ward and unit to opposition during the last general elections, have you heard a sitting governor been represented in the house of reps and senate by opposition in Nigeria? But obaseki is being represented by PDP in house of reps and senate, that's how bad he is in EDO.

We Edo people are behind Obaseki. U don't like him cos he's fighting your best governor so far. He became the enemy because he refused to share the wealth of edo state to some greedy politicians..

Believe it or not Edo people are against Oshomole because he is fighting so hard to become the very thing he fought against. If you are close to the common man in the street you would have realized by now that obaseki is only gaining more sympathetic votes. I hope you still remember the billboard at king square that read
