@gazzuz. My Corrolla 04's AC no longer chills as it used to.I repaired the compressor less than 5months ago and changed the air filter too.Also refilled the gas. What could cause the AC to have stopped chilling so soon? |
for etv problem and possible solution ..check this link on the proper thread https://www.nairaland.com/712408/free-air-satellite-tv-general/635#27380601 Pls direct all further questions on satellite signals to that page Cheers!!! |
This is a post for those who may be having issues locking down the 'feed transponder'that hosts etv on SES5@5E. pls take to heart the following points and you may find yourself not complaining about this same problem over and over again 1: The symbol rate of that transponder ( ranging between 04420 - 04430 ) gives some decoders problems,particulary earlier versions of strong decoders,they just cant decode the signal.Some popular china HD decoders also have this problem. 2: Even when the feed channel is active,the signal isnt very strong,so before you complain,ensure you have well above 80% on 12015 on that same bird. 3:As most people here know, the feed channel may not be active as @your time of scanning,so be patient after you have made sure of (2)above, wait till tuesday (maybe 2hours before matchtime) and then blindscan . 4: The conclusion of the matter is this ; after you have made sure of (2) and (3) above and u still dont have any of the feed channels ( assuming its active elsewhere), pls try and get another reciever and scan with it. SRT 4922 hasnt failed on this channel since i have been using it, other HD boxes i have used with it have had slight issues with it @ one point or the other,and by the way,this feed channels are ordinary MPEG2 compression, yet it gives some recievers issues Hope this helps to reduce the number of etv complaints littering everywhere. Cheers!!!! |
@George Nice work up there,my good friend. Am sure your monster can even begin uplink services of events in your compound to a satellite like AMOS( GEORGE TV)..keep up the good work! @I hacked In as much as I respect your enthusiasm about digital satfinders and their usefulness,,I still think you have blown your lecture out of proportion!. Let the satellite engineer decide the best method for him to use in tracking a bird.As long he does the job for himself or his client in record time,the rest story should be left for another day..Cast no aspertions on the intelligence or pocket of any member.it sounds disrespectful from my own point of view. Have a great week ahead ! |
odilibe: www.lyngsat.com/Yahsat-1A.htmlFrom that lyngsat chart,that satellite looks juicy especially with the hd channels. Let the man who brought the notice here give us update as to whether he has hit green on that bird and with what dish size. |
To my good friends,George,sammu,olason and others who have been frontiers of the satellite industry for a long time,i say welldone.its been a while but i have taken my time to be up to speed with this thread. Many new and good developments has taken place since i last visited here.It is however sad to see a certain 'Mr i hacked' post obscene and offensive pictures all in the name of promoting a new box. I don't know you or what you do, but i feel you are going against the rules of this noble forum. I hope seun and twinstaiye haven't abandoned this forum to rot away to the extent that obcene pictures are now being posted freely with impunity. In between,i wish to say i have also missed this thread and all you good people. I greet you all!!! |
The real disease affecting this thread is'the indecisiveness of the moderators'.i think they are more interested in creating traffic on nairaland rather than the monitoring the integrity of the site how many times do people need to be warned about posting or advertising illegal stuffs here before you rip them off the forum? We all have our own personal opinions on paytv hacking,but once it comes to a set of rules governing a forum(where you 'voluntary signed up'),there can be no two way about it.its either you comply or just stay away,goto somewhere else where you can discuss your illegal stuffs.To be sincere,nothing new has been happening in the fta world for sometime now,so there is really no need to cry foul about some people not contributing or not.personally,i still keep in touch with my people on this thread on phone or in person.when there is something new& big to share,am sure it will be posted bodly here.like someone said,we don't own this thread,so nobody can hold anyone to ransom!!!! |
@george Good to hear from you again george.how yonda?its been a while.actually,what i want the internet connection for is media streaming.so the thought just came to me that an OTA connection from a satellite decoder could handle such a large amount of data.i have heard people talk about it also but like you said and from what i have read in that link,the feasibility of such a connection looks rather bleak.i hope you have had contact with the person i referred to you? @pidzo There is nothing confusing about my post.i am simply asking for the actual name of the strong decoder that one can use for internet connection. |
@all pls i want to know wch if i can connect a strong decoder to my pc for browsing the internet legally.pls i need the name of the decoder,plus W at and wat i need to get for the connection |
7w nwa beam signal strength is by far one of the best news to come out of satellite tv in recent times.now one can watch those stations that have been proving difficult to watch even on my 1.8 dish.thanks for the update kungu. Hopefully,some of the quality arab channels on nilesat and hotbird could begin migrating to this favorable spot |
Checked into the country just in-time before the national strike could grind me. Missed my setup(everything over there was just a dull&expensive dth platform with nothing to play around with).but back to naija where everything is happening at the moment.{Maybe some of the freeview channels would remove the 'subsidy'on their stations & become paytv?}. @adedayo @olagunju @kosoko thanks for keeping in touch |
@dolpaz read up this thread for in-depth treatment of your query https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-519756.128.html |
@dolpaz very well. since you are using a 65cm dish,i would advice you set w4/w7 as your primary bird(meaning that the lnb you have in the pics should be used to track w4/w7). If you can get a a ready made multi-lnb holder,you can still use a copper wire. First use 12245 h 27500 to nail the w4,then finetune to make sure the fta tp is hitting 60% above.make sure all the bolts are firm. Then go ahead in attaching a second lnb by wrapping the copperwire from the bottom of the w4 lnb to the top of your new lnb until its just tight enough for you to be able tweak the new lnb.you only have to tweak the new lnb after attaching it.no further side or elevation adjustments is needed. Depending on the lnb you use,multitv tp should be hitting at least 75%. Note: from personal experiences,its better to to attach the 2nd lnb directly on top of the primary lnb than attaching on the sides(if you are doing a w4/astra2b combo). |
@dolpaz you are on the right path,but instead of just buying those things for the soul purpose of watching free tv alone,take satellite tv as your hobby,try out new installations on your setup,play around them(install,uninstall,reinstall),keep yourself informed about current trends in the sat world,and while you are yet looking for someone to employ you,you could start making some cool cash for yourself by doing what you love .even after you get a fulltime job,your 'installer' tag remains with you forever!!!. Keep up the good work man! |
@iron your creativity is very impressive and very much appreciated particularly at a time when all the lazy elements among us can do is expend all their enegy on buying 'crackers' to watch paytv's. Welldone bro. and we look forward to reading your findings. @all i hail all real fta enthusiast remaining on this forum. |
@all glad to be back here again after some time away.i have been totally cut-off from the satellite tv world due to my recent engagements.i hope i have not missed much. Big up to twinstaiye for keeping the communication line alive. ![]() |
@versace & townjuju , sorry,i got a buyer before you expressed ur interest |
2.4m fibre dish for 12k.make no mistake,the dish is what i wanted to use for nilesat until plans changedmso what am giving out is in perfect condition. |
@gadotor why must you bring up this box mess again on this forum. You need not ask anybody to call, text or drop an address for something which already has its own domain. And see the result, spamming of the thread with lazy request. Pls let us use our discretion when it comes to things like this. Its really pissing |
@ussals 4111 h 2963(strongestt tp),4085 h 4445, 4079 h 4445 all for ait |
@ussals 4111 h 2963(strongestt tp),4085 h 4445, 4079 h 4445 all for ait |
@ussals intelsat1r is very much active .go ahead and track it.first track nss10 and move a little down .i would post the active tp when i get home this night. |
hellooooooooooo, why the sudden request for bb equipments. Its not totally free; you still have to pay for heavy internet connection even after you have secured the box;which will almost be equivalent to paying the subscription for the premium, Except you really want to watch 'other' stuffs, but pls,let us not loose focus in this forum.clean tracking of fta or temporary fta signals is the name of the game here, all other things should be secondary and coded |
multitv back on air; cfi1 and france24 fta on ab3;cctv9 documentary fta on tp 12437 on w7; and cctv channels have flooded and replaced the 11765 freebies tp. |
hello oxteen. where have you been. thats a stale news, what we are looking forward to now is the actual launch and start of operations! |
@all, recently,pitodenz suggested we shud start making use of social networking sites to pass info.more effectively and faster instead of running here everysecond for a query that might replied for days. i support the idea and since the 2GO messenger is easy and cheap to access on mobile,i suggest we create a room there to continue discussion even when this thread has been locked. just goto wap.2g0.co.za and follow the leads. comments are welcomed on this suggestion. thanks |
@all welldone to all the effective posters for keeping the satellite world buzzing. New channels everyday!, hmmm @versace my contact got the box at the other shop @ a reduced price. Thanks for your time |
@mavon i don't know what you are or what you think you are but 1 thing is sure,you have a problem understanding the difference btw'a recommendatn & a condemnation'. After all,i still gave you what you requested. if you so much hate this thread,why then do you still show up?. this is a new &good year,if not,i would have put you in your place. |
Mavor:you have been on nairaland for too long to be asking such a question.the same you got to know dstv's satelite platform should be the same source you check. anyway.ASTRA2B,12552 V 19531 there is thread dedicated for such issues,so pls dont come back asking same thing. https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-357272.992.html |
@twinskenny &ilish i could only lock the ango tp(11035) on my 1.8m.with a 57% quality.i guess that says it all as regards that bird's coverage of this part of the world |
@princeparis there is really nothing interesting on badr5 fta |
odilibe what do you mean by'dead end'? cos am watching those channels now |
