thanks 4 d call, i av confirmd d tp &it turnd out 2 be d same as wat i av here.maybe d lnb,dish size u ar usin is makin d difference.i av noticd ait signals usualy drop around harmattan/dry season.i wil kip tryin 2 see if i can stop d crackin.

If not for other fta channels covering d u-17 world cup, watching d matches on most nigeria stations would av been a nightmare. or how else can u describe a coverage where d in-depth commentary supplied by fifa's broadcast partners is jettisoned for a commentary ran frm inside a studio by some people who av litle knowledge of running a football commentary!

it is only d multitv package u cant pick wit your box simply because itsn't mpeg4. but u can surely get crtv &lately ghanatv on dat astra 2b,go ahead &make it happen
As 4 d go africa,dat station is provin 2 be very unreliable ,dey change their tp too often &go off air at will but when dey ar on air,mine stil hits 55percent without cracking wit a 1.8m supermax ku lnb,i wouldn't know d dish nor ur lnb type,but i suggest u try finetuning ur lnb &make sure d tp &symbol rate u enterd ar correct 4 ur decoder(u may need 2 change d last figure in d symbol rate &see if there is any improvement)

u av done no wrong in letting d house know ur findings but i wish 2 say dat d supermax antena shudn't be of any use 2 any fta hobbyist who knows his/her onions.just compare d price(3k or above) 2 d price of getting a 60cm dish+ a fairly usd reciever 2 watch at least decent channels on sirius,ew3a &most importantly being in charge of wat u wish 2 watch.u wud see clearly dat havin ur own setup pays than tappin into anoda system illegally ,something dat kud land u in trouble, BE WARNED, DONT EVEN THINK ABOUT IT!

there seems 2 be a lot of inquiries on 7E,4E and their feeds regularly flooding dis thread evryday.while i see no problem in dat,i also wil like 2 advise our members 2 thread softly wen it comes 2 askin 4 d tps of d new soccer feeds& 4 our gud brothers who update us on what is showin on what feed,pls try being a litle less explicit when it comes 2 sayin d name of d feed especialy d epl feeds.simply sayin WOLVES VS STOKE ON ONE OF D SIRIUS FEEDS wil do. i believe all dis precautions wil buy us more time b4 d feeds ar attackd, MY HUMBLE SUGGESTION

king of sat has a lot of bias for european fta channels.that site is of litle use 2 us here in africa.&as 4 those channels u listd,they arn't fta by any means.in fact they arn't on africa beam on 7E.ur best bet for tp and beams u can recieve remains lyngsat 4 now

during d manu.vs livpool game,2M crackd so badly dat i had 2 change d channel.signal strength at 38-42perc.on a 1.8m dish supermax ku lnb,but since u said u were hittin 62percent on ur 1.8m,maybe i need a little lnb finetunin when i finally get out of d weather.or wat do u think?

Members shud pls endeavour 2 always drop d tp of any new channel popped-out thru blindscan as long has it doesn't breach d forum rules.Needless 2 say dat not all decoder has dat feature.SPACEMAN dropd an EW3A tandberg service tp but up til now it isn't work.so if anyone has gotten dat,pls drop it.Also,i realisd my GO AFRICA (EW3A)wasn't showin again(despite 58%green) but SEGUNFMS did say sth about a new tp &other channel.pls drop this as well.Lastly,PAPS1,which of the frequency is itv on? or is it a new tp,pls post as well.WISHING U ALL A FRUITFUL DAY

u av 2 understand is that nilesat,hotbird,badr4 ar all out-of-footprint birds.so we need bigger dish in d form of 2m &above 2 track them in nigeria especially for those outside northern nigeria.As for the birds u av trackd,their beam towards nigeria is fair enough &dat is why u could av pickd them wit 60cm above dish and 4 ur information,the 2 mbc's u get on EW3A is just a tip of d iceberg,other super MBC ar on nilesat.If u want them,get a bigger dish!

fuji,echosat & supermax lnbs have proved 2 be d most effective for those on nilesat but i would rather go for supermax based on d xperience of those who use it.
As for d 2.4m,it is very much okay considering d price.but u will av 2 be very pro-active in trackin d arc wit dat dish.One more thing is gettin d best tp 4 trackin nile.i remember GEORGE did posted a tp about dat.i'll confirm frm my source which of the tp still stand d test of time &compare it with george's own

LYNGSAT call ìt ETV 2(ETHIOPIA) but on viewin d channel i found out dat it was d same program as d old ETV ETHIOPIA (which lyngsat now refers 2 as ETV 1) only dat 1 has better picture quality dan 2. i hope they are not just there 2 make up numbers
