i av been followin d developments frm dat end & i'm afraid,it is not a good news,d vertical pol.channels he got at first av since collapsd 2 38%red & while tryin 2 see if he could jack up d signal a litle by adjustin d lnb,he ended up losing more signal of d other ku channels.He has since dropd nile signal & has concentratd on d more footprint-friendly channel on 1.8m,BOTTOM LINE,4get 1.8m for nile cos it wil eventualy fail 2 stand,go 4 a bigger dish like 3m or 2.6m, ALJAZEERA ENGLISH is no longer on dat bird(ew3a not sirius4 in d first place) .Finally dis is my private contact. 08139223720 available at non-official hours, how is dat road leadin up 2 sango?,i suppose fashola &gbenga av done sth on it

I think etv southafrica shudn't be recievin d attentn of any serious FTA user anymore because if it is their nice soaps &movies we so much miss,many new statns av steppd up 2 d plate in dat regard.but i understand it is their weekend late nite X FILES some miss so much! I don't think dat shud b d concern of any responsible man anyway but 4 those who can't get over it,gudluck 2 u on other birds

@okenze 2M NATIONAL usd 2 b d most reliable on EW6 until recently.In any case,ur 60cm wont shoot down dat sat,&as 4 which bird is more english speakin of d two in question,sirius4 has d edge at d moment .ew3a is mainly french speakin but this things arn't permanent. channels come &go on birds at various times,so u cant b so sure english speakin channels wil remain there, but u wil be better off wit a motorisd dish so dat when these chanels change birds,u can always move with them.enjoy your 60cm in d meantime

GEORGE, i calld ur 2 nos dis mornin but were not alive, anyway i av just had a filled day in correctin d recent failings of my setup, i found out dat an honeybee was residin in my c-band lnb throat,which i cleard,then i changd d strong ku lnb wit a new supermax,retrack d arc again,&made sure i reducd d distance d cable travld.&my God,my belovd feeds were smilin again,muvì tv,direct8,&mbc were strikin 68,93,77% respectivly,though i am tired,i am quite refreshd in gettin dis channels kickin again. Next up wil be my 2.6m nilesat set up, GEORGE,pls confirm if u av paksat 38.E is on ur set up,itsn' comin up on dis 1.8m

@all here is wat i found out frm my time out , a friend of mine used his 1.8m dish 2 track nile signal wit a fuji lnb & most channels came up includin d aljazeera sports chanel ,mbc action.though it was quite difficult &d signal quality tweakles btw 50-58%

@olayinka spacevice is right but if all u want d daarsat/4669X for is 2 watch multitv free 4 life,u may av 2 think twice.multitv is plannin 2 upgrade their broadcast system so dat only their new decoders wil be able 2 de-encrypt the channels startin frm nxt year.check d last 3 pages of season 3 to see 4 urself wat has been on dis issue &den make ur decision

i av been doin some thinkin on this multitv latest develpmt.& we certainly can't blame them 2 much because it was obvious d entrance of multitv had been creating market 4 other satelite company(daarsat being d most profited,d new strong also benefitd) but they kud av given their decisions a litle more human face-completely replacin their mpeg4 box wil cost dose u bought it a lot of u money, they kud av askd dose u had d ist box 2 bring it &add a little money 2 get d new one.&as for d old ones they collectd,it is very possible 4 d manufacturers 2 work on d system's picture board,upgrade it 2 whatever system dey want &recyle this boxes into d market, it takes a lot of consideration 2 do these but they can if only they know wat people ar goin 2 face frm their decisions. As 4 d limitin of beams,they shudn't try it at all,can d ghana market provide all their revenue frm decoders? MULTITV, u don't want 2 do this,do you?

i decided 2 move my 1.8m 2 a new positn in my compound in order 2 put d nile dish there. after finishin d setup of d 1.8m in its new positn,2 my amusement,i found out d channels on intelsat7/10 ku were hardly hittin 32%green,those on sirius 4 were crackin at 40%. i went back outside,made sure d lnbf was okay & d 7/10 ku was hittin 70%,d sirius4 hittin 67% while i was outside wit d decoder &tv. But as soon as i got back in,dose signals dropd 2 exactly wat dey were b4. I av thought it over &at first i concluded it was because of d 80m distance btw d dish &d parlour but on d second thought i felt it kuldn't be because my multitv,mbc,daarsat were all hitting 80%above despite d distance,d only thing i kud think of is maybe my CABLES av gone bad,pls i need ur take on dis very unusual stuff.&ur advice

u guys shud give us real time update on dis multitv meeting throughout 2day, we ar pretty anxious over dis meeting

@olatufu depending on ur pricing strategy,u can get it for 16k,but be warnd dat due 2 d new-craze of dis box,u shudn't b suprisd 2 see a disguised 69x in alaba,so be sure 2 check d system information on d menu when u ON d box 2 make sure it is d real 69x,:alaba boys bad ooo!!

@george a nìlesat user came 2 my house yestday &told me there is now a way around coding aljazeera +1,-1 &+2 ,he wudn't go into details though, wat do u think frm ur end,i'm prepping myself 4 dis nile installatn(wow! wat a space d dish is goin 2 swalow in backyard)

@dre i wìl advìce u go 4 a 1.8m motorised dish 2 expand d no of channels u view &at d same time compensate 4 low signal but i av 2 say d signal of sirius4 is strong enough g ur 90cm,RTS&2STV ar just isolated cases,so if u av d means,go for d 1.8m motorisd dish

@zenus mbc3 isn't on EW3A,u can only get it on nilesat.although mbc2 &1 sometimes join mbc3 2 show movies, ì think dey wil join 4 dose matches, but u also can check any of these channels 2morow,i'm pretty sure 1 of dem wil show d match u ar lookin for, CRTV,SIRIUS FEEDS,GO AFRICA

@pit, hmmm, i see, just liase with ur suppliers 2 make sure d features of dis box doesn't inflate d price, it shud b moderate enough regardles of wat &wat it can do, wish u nice returns

@yemibal  u stil avn't told me if dat your fibre dish is motorised i.e has a jack dat can move it frm one positn 2 anoda.but frm all indicatns,it looks like u dish isn't. &about your dose in your area u ar facin there dish westwards,u av 2 understand dat your choice of channels may differ frm theirs. 2 save u some time &stress,put a cal 2 dìs no.frm 7pm 08139223720,u need 2 play catch -up on a lot of things

@yemibaloo-wel i like ur self-assurance but it wil be better if u drop dat 'not that i don't know it'mentality & make d best use of the info dis thread contains, a candid advice, 2 ur questn, d issue of whether 2 face east or west only comes in wen ur 1.8dish isn't motorisd.if dat is d case,d choice is left 4 u 2 make after u av found out 4 urself wat stations ar on east &west.going thru d FAQ on d TV MOVIES SECTION wil greatly help u, by the way, WELCOME 2 NL

@alancruise i av confirmd &dose channels ar doin quite well ,at least 58%above.there ar a lot of things dat may av causd ur signal lost d least of which is bad weather which d uplink might av encounterd b4 ur lnb feed kud pick it up. make sure ur dish alignment is okay i.e make sure there ar no loose ends dat kud make d dish tilt away frm d sat's orbit.then if dat doesn't solve d problem,u can den adjust d lnb &see how d signal improves-be careful wit d lnb-if d signal stil doesn't improve,u may want 2 change out d lnb wit d a new ku lnb, work it out,

@muyiwa i want 2 believe u ar naive when it comes 2 FTA judging frm d way u askd dat question,so i wil just try & give u a lift. IST u av 2 tel us d size of ur dish,ur decoder.Most importantly,in d meantime i wil like u 2 quickly flip thru d FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS on TV MOVIES.There u can learn more & know where 2 get d FTA frequency u ar looking 4. Be warnd dat dis house may not entertain any further inquries by u if there is any suspicion u avn't done this.Good luck
