The truth is that it depends on what you intend to get out of the borehole,i mean quality and quantity of water,

the problem with Victoria island and lekki peninsula in general is that most shallow wells will give low yield and it will be salty to a degree, now if can remember some chemistry, it is damn difficult to remove salt from water, so there goes the boreholes that people drill for about 200k, you may just be lucky to get good water out of these, (very unlikely)

the usual solution is to go deeper and seal the salty region off with clay. sometimes as deep as 240 metres. (this will cost up to N5m for a 6" borehole, can be less for a smaller diameter borehole if the borehole will only be used domestically, can be more.

at this depth, the only problem will be the possibility of iron deposits, this can be removed by exposing the water to air(aeration) to form iron oxide, which doesnt dissolve in water and can be filtered out.

so as you can see, there is no direct answer to the posters question.

Whats the Point here?. They are both Plant design softwares both companies made a decent attempt at making Pipe design easier, PDMS is not comparable to Autoplant but why cut each other's throats.

What usually happens is that our fellow nigerians go there and assure them that if they manufacture this particular substandard car it is going to be accepted in nigeria, in my opinion, its our businessmen that convince them that if they drop the quality and price they'll hav thousand of sales in nigeria.
