They could both be saying the truth, The coach didnt say he reached him, he said he called him, its possible that the call was made, Enyeama would have the coach's number and it will register as an unknown number. |

Leicester City have signed Wilfred Ndidi from Genk for £15m, subject to a work permit. The 20-year-old Nigeria midfielder has agreed personal terms with the Premier League champions and signed a contract until June 2022. Ndidi, who will wear the No25 shirt, moved to Genk from Yemi Idowu's Nathaniel Boys academy of Lagos after impressing during a trial and made his debut in January 2015 as a centre-half. He can also play at right-back and has been capped twice by Nigeria. He will join his international team‑mate Ahmed Musa at Leicester and both will be available during the Africa Cup of Nations because Nigeria failed to qualify. Ndidi was part of the Nigerian youth setup during his time at Nathaniel Boys of Lagos but missed out on representing Nigeria at the U -17 World Cup in 2013. Notwithstanding, he joined up with his teammates in the U-20 team the following year, forming the bedrock of the midfield. He was called up to the Senior Nigeria national football team, The Super Eagles on October 8, 2015., making his debut in the friendly game against DR Congo, and playing again a few days days later in the 3-0 win against Cameroon, when he replaced John Obi Mikel in the 63rd minute He was selected by Nigeria for their 35-man provisional squad for the 2016 Summer Olympics. joseph1832:Writer clearly stated. He thinks the man is guilty not for naming his dog buhari but for printing the name on the dog and parading it in a largely hausa dominated market. |
Former Super Eagles captain, Austin Okocha and Chairman, National Academy Sports Committee (NASCOM), Yemi Idowu, believe the presence of the English Premier League (EPL) trophy in Lagos’ schools would inspire kids to embrace sports. Idowu, a member of the Youth Committee of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), said “the Barclays EPL School Trophy Tour is part of community programme that already exists in England called the school trophy tour. “Normally, schools will apply and they will be selected and the trophy will be taken to schools and they’ve now decided to be sharing it with schools outside England, taking it to Asia and Africa. It has been to Africa before in the past and this time they offered to bring it back to Nigeria and Lagos precisely and we had two schools that were selected, that is City of David and Lagos Preparatory School.” Idowu, whose NASCOM encourages children to take to sports, said “we are leveraging on the presence of the cup to encourage and attract our own local leagues and more importantly schools competition such as the Lagos Junior League and Channels National Kids Cup. “The emphasis is on schools sports and we the members of the Youth Committee of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), our efforts is on school children, very young children to participate in sports and what the NFF is trying to do is to get more states FAs to go to the schools to partner with the ministry of education at the state level and other stakeholders to get more children involved in sports. Obviously, if we have more children watching football especially the English Premier League on television, at the same time, they can go out and play.” The NASCOM boss said bringing Okocha, who played in the EPL, and is well educated and doing very good in life will send the message to the children that “they can do these things together, go to school to have a good academics career if they are not able to play football professionally and that is why we are doing this.” Also speaking on the tour, Okocha, affirmed that the presence of the trophy would inspire students to take interest in sports. “We have to say a very big thank you to Barclays Bank for making the EPL trophy school tour possible because it will inspire aspiring kids to become footballers and I think it doesn’t get any better than this to go to the grassroots to encourage those kids. We also hope that our football can also grow that we can take the NPFL trophy on tour with the right people who know what it takes to take our football to the next level and not just depending on government. So, there are a lot of things to emulate from the English Premier League.”

When it's time to pass budget. We will hear different stories. Now you will give order ehn? |
Your Language shows your frustration, but you cant argue with facts. once we stop bleeding through unprofitable crude swaps and our economy strengthens, maybe we can afford a minimum wage increase. The truth is that the country cannot afford it. How will governors who cant pay N18,000 pay N56,000. if you think that makes sense then i will understand your angle is not about making sense, it is about wailing. lomprico: |
Then the conversation should be about minimum wage. This is a fuel subsidy conversation. The point is to agree that it doesnt make sense to subsidise fuel and that N145 per liter is not outrageous. I would support the move for an increase in minimum wage only if i thought Nigeria could afford it. The states cant afford to pay salaries at N18,000 and you are talking of minimum wage increase. Imagine a serious worker who is being owed 6 months salary asking for a wage increment, wouldnt you think he was insane? great664: |
