Westtimeline: Eyah, what a warrior. Have you gone to threatened the fulanis that their cows chased your children from school in enugu . When will you start your own fasting and prayers while you come here to perform your online warrior.
Guess you all hide this one down here In anambra where your monarch cried out like baby Lol. Sounding like a broken record, deal with the issue at hand and stop chasing shadows. Some Fulani walked into a palace and slapped your king, that's different from raising alarm. |

Xander85: But where were the Yoruba youths that, a few years ago, were so eager to ambush Eze-Ndigbo Akure and beat him up after he was ‘invited’ to Deji of Akures’ palace for a parley!? How come in this case they were MIA and weren’t around to chase the fulani herdsmen off!?
In fact we’re even getting ahead of ourselves here...were did the fulani herdsmen get the gumption and the balls to storm a Yoruba kings palace in the first place!? The fear of Fulani herdsmen is the beginning of wisdom to them. |

Arnold777: Senator Ben Murray BRUCE twitted this and a reply by a twitter user will SHOCK you.
RWANDA is far ahead of NIGERIA in renewable energy. They are a small giant of Africa. If we don’t take steps to cover lost grounds by passing laws and implementing policies to encourage electric cars and vehicles, Rwanda may go from being a small giant to becoming the main giant. No Senator Ben Murray BRUCE
Twitter User response to the above
Why do you like to compare Rwanda with Nigeria? It's obvious you don't know the enormity of our requirements as a Nation. Rwanda's total installed power capacity is barely 220MW. Kanji dam alone is 760MW of renewable energy. Rwanda has 50,000 cars, Nigeria has over 11m cars.
Kanji dam with 760MW hydro will supply thrice what Rwanda requires. We require 25000MW, how easy is it for us to get this via renewable energy? SA, USA, India, China, Australia are heavily reliant on coal as their source of energy. They fire coal heavily to generate power.
Despite the abundant coal Nigeria has, Nigeria doesn't fire coal rather we rely on hydro and thermal.
Do we have the resources to embark on your wild goose renewable energy project when you and your colleagues gulp billions of our scarce resources annually?
Why can't you compare how much you take home annually with what the average Rwandan legislator earn? The Rwandan senate president earns 16m RWF annually, $18000. Your monthly salary is twice his annual wage.
Paul Kagame earns $85,000 annually. With your N13m monthly allowance, you earn 5 times what he earns annually doing nothing. Can you compare yourself to Kagame? Can you justify your callous wage?
Dr Guendozi Bruce has just been schooled. |

Gbenga did nothing while you destroyed what was manageable.
Uncompleted projects everywhere, instead of him to concentrate on completing all the roads projects he started and he would have been the best governor Ogun State ever had.
Ogun state is very rich so you have no reason to fail in completing those laudable projects. |

kahal29: ”The apex court ordered that the runner-up candidate be sworn in if he fulfils the constitutional requirement of getting one quarter of the total votes cast in at least two-third of the local government areas of the state.
Here is the analysis:
Total votes cast: 810,782
APC: 534,541 votes
PDP: 189,452 votes
So PDP must get 202,696 to clinch the governor seat of Zamfara state.
Let's all Digest this please?

fero007: I b urhobo o, currently live in port harcourt, but i grew up in warri, anyway even when i was in warri i was not going to the village like that we only drive past them when travelling, me sef my urhobo na cut n nail
anoda problem I've noticed is the mentality of not only urhobo n isoko pepo, but all south southerners(save for akwaibom/crossriver pepo). Unlike the Yoruba n Igbo, the youths of the SS see their language as sumtin meant 4 d old n undope. It's normal to go a mall or youth party in lagos, ibadan, Akure n hear teens speaking yoruba or to a restaurant or club in enugu, onitsha, owerri n hear teens speaking igbo but u can't go to those places in warri, port harcourt, Benin n hear them speaking their language or even other tribes(yorubas, Igbos, etc) speaking their own language, it feels local to the SSners. Mentality problem, I use to feel that way too until i started travelling and saw that the major tribes didn't share this our menality You are right, the problem is South South has several tribes and it's difficult to adopt a single language when we have about 80 different dialects. Bendel for instance the only language of communication was pidgin and also most cities in South South (Edo/Delta n Rivers) are cosmopolitan. |

Sinistami: This is my Second thread after that pidgin Battle thread that Hit FP. Damn I loved that Thread but this night its not about Pidgin again. Today I'll be trying my Best to save my Maternal Tribe's language called Epie-Attisa. spoken Predominantly in Yenagoa the Capital city of Bayelsa State. And the Fourth major language in Bayelsa After Izon ,Nembe and Ogbia. Epie is an Delta Edoid language normally spoken by The Natives of Yenagoa who have a myth of Migrating from Benin. But that is Changing as most young folks from 30 to 1 year olds can't speak the Language because of the Nativization and Creolization of English and Pidgin especially in the Niger delta. So tonight I'll try my best to preserve this languages by storing its words and Sayings here on Nairaland plus Translations.
