The new Amazon LOTR TV shows is about a thousand years earlier in events as opposed to the Movie trilogies. While, GOT new prequel is about 300 years before the Game of Thrones we watched. Heck, even the first cancelled prequel is about 1500 years before the events of GOT.

I have read all Harry Potter books and I will tell you that books one to 7 of harry potter are not vast as compared to the lord of the rings.

Nothing hurts more than seeing good ideas & potentials being wasted. This flick had one of the best idea/concept, sadly enough, they messed up the whole thing. The plot was very..... oops! sorry, there wasn't a plot, even if they were, it was horribly written. No back story whatsoever as to how things began, it was just straight to the point action. Character development was zero, cinematography was awful, as for acting, asides the lead, the rest were just outrightly horrible. On the bright side, the sequence of the jump scares were well delivered & the soundtracks were very much ok. If you wanna see this flick, make sure you download the hevc format, else the poor cinematography & colour would make it un-viewable for you.
In 480p, the movie looks like shite.
Also, as I earlier said, there was no character development. How does a movie just jump into climatic action?
