After a Friend of mine, told me about his ordeal in the North during his service year. I decided to share the little story with the southern corpers currently serving in the North.

He told me the story of how an almajiri would have pierced a knife through his stomach. But he was lucky to have overpowered the deadly almajiri and stabbed him as he jumped out of the compound through the fence. The house was been surrounded by more than Hundred almajiris with arms

Today, I received a call from an In-law for the first time for Over Five years.

He called and informed me about this his Lawyer friend who is desperately in need of Some ppl to fill a vacant position in custom office. I was surprised to receive such pleasant news from an In-law who has been against me for some family issues. He gave me the lawyer 's number and I sent my details to him as requested by him.

Shortly, another number called me to congratulate me that I have been shortlisted and I should pay 25k for the application form.

Now, I am confused bcz if it's legit they wouldn't have asked me to pay for anything or should I go ahead to pay for it?

Please save me, I have called my In-law and he said he doesn't know much about the lawyer but they met each other some years back..

since you are in Lagos go online looking for Tutors, there are several services. For 2 tutoring clients 3 times a week 6 days you could make over 70k. the distance may be an issue

Last two months I rounded up my service, I rushed back to Lagos with the hope that I will secure at least a teaching job to start with as a graduate of political science education.

I got disappointed bcoz anybody can actually teach that Government /Social studies and civic education without the required qualifications. My intent was to teach and garner more experience and then proceed with my masters.

As I am talking to you now, no teaching vacancies around. No job anywhere. I had to apply to a laundry man position around my street.

When the secretary saw my cv she wanted to slap me. Saying I should be out there looking for something meaningful. I laughed and just told her that she won't understand.

I was lucky to gain the job as a laundry man and I believe God who has been keeping me alive knows why I am passing through all these..

In Nigeria where I was born, parents no longer attend their children's convocation. Because they are not too sure of their next step.


How can you go to celebrate somebody who will only come home to become a liability?

But how did we get to this stage? I remember those pretty moments. When we celebrate graduates. How time flies

Our Educational system is currently in mess. University education has become where you go to learn how to start struggling. Most Nigerian graduates after Service end up regretting their choice of attending the university.

For most of us in Lagos who are very close to so many illiterate business men hitting it big, won't just feel dejected but live admiring the So called illiterates.

Worst still our vagabonds in power only care about increasing the fuel prices to make this jobless graduates live in an absolute penury. The nitty-gritty is that our Government has no will power to redeem the youths from this mess.

Notwithstanding, I saw prospective students crying for not making the jamb cut off mark. I have a friend who was stopped from committing suicide for this vain

It's within us to start Telling this children the truth . Tell these kids to use the money they will waste in school, which would only make them come back to become a Driver or Gateman, to use it and start up business or travel out for their studies

Nigeria is getting worst not better and we have to face the truth..
