Teobaba:Take your own advice and go read the proposal. This is targeted at federal universities with state universities expected to adopt same. |
Dudeweedlmao:The current generation is very complicit in every facet of Nigeria's current delimma. Until you can rationally explain why a secondary school student or university undergraduate will be looking towards cybercrime as his future ambition, or why the majority of this nation's youth see absolutely nothing wrong in that while cheering these teeming criminals on then we can start looking towards exonerating them. Now, that's just one of many issues that still leaves me totally baffled at our general psyche. Now don't say it's poverty because I do not come from a well to do family, and am still struggling to establish myself, a thousand other youths are doing same too, legally. As I said earlier, there are a thousand other issues wrong with the Nigerian youth that they had the choice to accept or refuse. |
danjumakolo:I have read the proposal and it isn't a lie. They are planning a student loan scheme that like every other thing Nigerian, will require you to know someone who knows someone to acquire, effectively cutting of access to university education for children of the poor. Go read the proposal first. |
movetoca:It isn't the truth. The students don't pay the bills, their unfortunate parents are the ones that do so. A child who hasn't learnt to earn money independently doesn't know what it takes to do so, and will act accordingly. Meaning that even if school fees are increased to 1 million naira today, a student who doesn't want to learn still won't learn. |
RevenGeMission:Shut up you mofo!! For that to be planned in the first place is extreme absurdity!!! That's how a human with a working brain proposed increase in data subscription prices when the whole world is looking for methods to reduce it. Now they have effectively jacked up data prices, and if idi*ts like you continue to exist (unfortunately they will), school fees will definitely be jacked up, and without commensurate improvement in the quality of graduates. And even that won't stop incessant striking of university lecturers. Just go to hell so we can have a better world. |

I was telling someone sometime ago that Arthur Eze is a billionaire in billions. To further clarify that statement, Arthur Eze and Obasanjo are the richest oil magnates in Africa. Together, they own major oil concerns in every oil rich West African country. They practically own West Africa, that's why today, it's impossible for Liberia to elect a president without OBJ's blessings. Also, to the idiots saying there are no schools in the South East. Some years ago the Nuta Bolts team of Anambra State University (ranked 130 by NUC at the time) represented Africa at an international automobile competition. Less than two months ago, some young girls from a secondary school in Onitsha, Anambra State represented Nigeria in the US, and won first position for their category. Do not let hate blind you from kissing the truth. |
mrakeli62:Many Nigerians keep saying 'We should put the past behind us to progress, but I daresay, how can you put a past you don't even know behind You? How can you go forward when you don't know where you are coming from?? I say we go back to the past, because for Nigeria, that's the only way to go forward. |
aduoluwaseun01:Lol, developers don't find it difficult to save images in a database, they find saving them in a folder easier to access, and most importantly, safer and less prone to corruption. |
DaCharis2016:My statement was and remains very clear and easy to understand. No need for further clarification. |
BVN cannot be used to withdraw money from your account ooo!!! Stop spreading stupid rumours and hampering the growth of fintech in Nigeria. BVN can be used to get your banking information (account number, name, e.t.c, e.t.c) and this can be used to launch a social engineering hack on you. A bit of intelligence and a lot less greed will help you stay safe. |
Newboss:Lol, something you've never used. A friend of mine got a Zinox mini computer from a student ICT program in Ogun state in 2011, and used said minicomputer until 2014 when he got another PC. STOP TALKING TRASH. Note: I used said friend's computer EXTENSIVELY at that time (Java and PHP Programming). |
Newboss:Ignorance at it's peak! I don't know much about Solo, but I have used a Zinox computer ("that naija laptop" , and have boarded an Innoson bus on a 7 hour journey, and can proudly tell you that they are both top notch and excellent machines. On the other hand, if you can swear you never used those loud, near-zero quality Chinese phones, or never used those fm/mp3 players, as well as used any of the machines you are gleefully bashing, and found them inferior, then I'd both take back my comments, as well as apologise, otherwise, GO TO BLOODY HELL!!On the flipside, I am very happy that Igbo businesses are now adopting Igbo products. I discovered this earlier this year when I travelled home (Nnewi) and saw an Innoson branded Cutix Cables PLC vehicle, as well as GUO, Orizu and Peace Mass Transit companies all using Innoson's vehicles to run their businesses. Now, our amiable daughter has brought Innoson to the world. Y'all can keep your unsolicited opinions to yourselves. Oh, I almost forgot to add that every time you go to a polling booth to vote your President, Governor or Local Council Chairman, you actually do that on a Zinox machine. 2019 is coming, you'll still do same on a Zinox machine. The alternative is to not vote . |
People that are saying FG bought FG should go read up how Central Banks are run. USA's Federal Reserve Bank (their equivalent of our CBN) is a public/private entity. I don't really know what this shares sale entails, and it's consequences, but the FG should have made an announcement before taking this course of action. N.a. so these people go take sell all of us ooo. |
Hand and smilie , what to do with both? However, Nigeria's politicosphere isn't changing for better anytime soon. Unless we consciously decide to reject our current generation of politicians, who have done nothing to better our situation, but make matters worse off for everyone that's not them. Think Nigerians! Think!!, but alas! I may just be pouring water on stone, a hopelessly futile venture. |
Bolustical:Stop sh*t-decieving yourselves. Answer this very simple question. Who is the best Governor in the South West right now?? |
adebayo104:Hello? How much is this?? |
It will be the death of Soludo's reputation if he accepts this nonsense. I believe he once said that he would never work for a government that ha a stronghold over the ministry at a time Buhari was looking for a minister of finance. He knows better than to soil his good name. |
madone:Lol, regurgitating stupidity. You people said this the last time, and compliance to the sit-at-home order was felt in distant parts of the world, and aired on BBC, disgracing your likes. Now you are regurgitating the same sh*t again. Just like the nation you are a mirror of, you never learn from history, and that is your bane. |
Kinggnicole:You wrote this the first time, and repeated it again. I'm sorry for whoever marries or married you. L.P., this is one advice never to accept. If this is your view of marriage, it is better you never marry. Marriage is not all rosy and sweet as there must be rough patches in a relationship between an imperfect man and woman. If your advice to leave a marriage because the husband felt hurt at his wife's action, and the both of them never had any major issues prior to this one, it's best you stay unmarried because you know nothing about marriage. OP, someone earlier adviced begging him again, especially with the fact that your 'gamble' paid off, using a more expressive approach and if that fails, seek an elder he has a lot of respect for, before approaching his family. I believe that's a great advice that would work out. I know this happened in March, but I urge you to be patient and optimistic of a favourable resolution. All is well. |

Lol, when they do, go and force them to stand up you hear?? |
Sleekfingers:Historically, Biafra Sit At Home has never been violent, until the Nigerian Police Force in their characteristic manner of cluelessness showed up. You are not Igbo, and know next to nothing about Igbo people, I came down to Lagos 3 months ago, and contrary to the lies that the likes of you propagate on Nairaland and elsewhere, there is a very strong and committed IPOB body here in Lagos. Quit misinforming people. Speak the truth for once in your bloody life or shut up and allow people who have a real stake Speak!! |
budaatum:Got nothing more for you. Just tell your folks to stay away from me cos it could get really messy, bye. |
budaatum:Oh! It would be a traumatic experience, no harm in reciprocating the gesture. |
resurgent2019:Abeg shift with your bias wey dey block your eyes. If a meteorologist tells you that when the sky is cloudy, rain will fall, and I happens exactly has he said, when next the weather becomes cloudy, you find a shelter or an umbrella and let people around you know its gonna rain. Similarly, the bible told us that when you see these signs, you should know the world is coming to an end, and we have seen many of those signs, despite being predicted over 1000 years ago. Although there are a few more we are yet to see, as well as some that just started manifesting. These are things that are happening physically, nothing spiritual about them. It is only pertinent and wise to prepare for that event, as well as warn others, and that's not scaremongering. Even if you don't believe, the bible is not just a religious book, its also a history book, you should read it for history's sake and stop saying what you do not know. |
badbros:How would you feel if a guy approaches you for a relationship?? It affects others ooo!! I don't want to imagine how I'll react to such scenario, someone would probably land in a hospital with a black eye because the trauma of such an event is one I would not forget in a lifetime. They should do their LGBT whatever, I don't care, just don't bring it in my direction. |
raumdeuter:Lol, the money that comes out of that 'latrine' can buy your entire family. It's your likes that are easily deceived by looks. |
This Optionally just dey use everybody head for this thread sha. I just dey laff This girl is trolling y'all!! |
Stop confusing applicants. Are you looking for web, native or hybrid developers? We seriously need professional recruiters especially in Nigeria's software development space. |
Look at this one ooo . But it is cool for him to go on an international stage and call his own citizens lazy and corrupt ba?? To hell with both Buhari and Clark. Nonsense people!! |
