Orji Uzor Kalu is like Nnamdi Azikiwe, Igbos no send am, but the government chose him as their igbo representative. The people didn't!! and never will!!! |

Epphy: Thank you for your response. I have seen previous comments citing issues with Accord. I am okay with a 20k - 25k weekly delivery. My choices are currently limited by funds I have available to me, and only considered the Accord because that's what I can currently afford. I'll refocus and start searching for 1.8l cars that meet Uber/Taxify specs. 1 Like |
Business / Uber/taxify Partners/drivers Come In. I Need Your Advice Becoming A Partner. by bot101(m): 3:20am On Apr 22, 2019 |
Good day guys, I have been following posts in the Uber/Taxify thread for some time now and looking to become an Uber/Taxify partner. I am planning to buy a Nigerian used Honda Accord 2004 model, employ the services of an Uber/Taxify driver, and collect 25k - 30k weekly. I don't know how feasible this would be as I have zero experience with running a ride sharing business. I need your advice on whether to continue or find something else to put my funds into, thanks. |

Car Talk / Re: How Reliable Are Innoson Buses For Transport Business? by bot101(m): 10:36pm On Mar 27, 2019 |
Well, I know an established transport company using their vehicles for long distance interstate mass transit (Orizu Motors), and another company (Cutix cables) using Innoson buses in their fleet. The Nigerian army and Police also use their vehicles. That should tell you something about their reliability. 8 Likes |

Olawalesmarter: If you know how fo*lish you sound, you'll stop regurgitating this sh*t. So you believe that only those on Forbes list are the richest people on earth eh? Even Forbes themselves don't believe that, and proof of that is the parameters they use in their ranking. Stop being an as*hole, you sound like a broken record. You stupidity won't allow you humble yourself and learn that Forbes rank only publicly listed companies and Arthur's is a privately held company. |

Well, until Femi Otedola has major stakes in multiple African countries, it is stupidity to claim he is wealthier that Arthur Eze. If you like call it rumour or whatever, if you want to learn about Arthur, it's up to you to go study him instead of trying to make someone else do so for you, you lazy ass. Also, stop exposing your lack of knowledge on the internet. That you don't know who Arthur is is nobody's fault but yours!! 1 Like |

stevups: Completely agree with you. One is incapable of logical thinking without a solid knowledge base. Cramming and dumping for excellent score is NOT equivalent to acquiring knowledge. I daresay that there's no billionaire today that made it by depending on the education acquired in school. The only people that actually benefit from classroom education are educators, engineers, scientists and researchers , and even they have to experiment ad infinitum because school only gives you information on ideal situations, and there's nothing like that in the real world. Business mindset on the other hand, is acquired outside the four walls of any educational institution and requires experimentation, guidance, as well as failure to acquire. In summary, entrepreneurship is a life thing, not an academic one. 4 Likes |

dante0147: You digress. Stay with me bro. On the topic!! Graduating with a bad result has no bearing on your ability to succeed or fail in life, also the result stated on your certificate is a poor metric for recruiting staff, especially in a country like Nigeria. That's my stand on the topic of discuss. We aren't discussing difficulties in running a business here. |
Education / Re: Finished With A Third Class Degree, Can I Do Masters? by bot101(m): 10:33am On Mar 16, 2019 |
millionboi2: Nah...that's not what I am saying. The moment you look down on others (like you've done to people with paid employment), that very moment, your failure as an employer of labour begins because guess what, your staff are in that class of people, and will inevitably be the cause of your business failure. Also, if you recruit staff based on academic qualifications, and not skill, you will be on the losing end because skill trumps academic qualifications anyday, anytime!! There are certain risks true entrepreneurs never take because they amount to gambling. You take informed risks (even though there's a fear of failure) which greatly reduces chances of failure. Uninformed risks on the other hand (gambling) has a much higher chance of failure as well as the same fear factor of informed risks. Skill over certificate is one of these informed risks, because you can already measure staff performance even before they start working with you, cost less to manage and train, and have higher output/better results. Looking at certificate on the other hand, especially in a Nigerian society where grades are literally bought with money, is a perfect recipe for disaster!!!! Look beyond the certificate!!!! 1 Like |

millionboi2: Buhahahaha!!!!! I understand you very well, you probably own a a fried indomie joint down the next street and therefore are an 'entrepreneur'. Also, if you know the smallest thing about entrepreneurship, then you won't even have this mindset in the first place as it is the mindset of a failure waiting to happen...if it already hasn't happened. |
