Piblic display of religious fundamentalism. This man is trying to christianize nigeria. ive never seen pictures of obama or cameron or merkel or hollande in church even though im sure they do go. This is just a calculated attempt at pandering to the jesus bloc and sticking a finger in the eyes of muslims. And someone calls him humble. Im sure even god has long since forsaken this blithering oaf. |
criminalmindz:Underdogs? Oh. You mean the dogs down under. Dokubi asari is yet to bark on this scandalous tape, though. |
This fayose must be an imbec1le. He's always caught on tape saying incriminating things. |
chigo93:Give men wisdom and they become men of god. Give them power and they become gods of men |
so it's this bloated, gassy, lethargic , obviously diabetic bag of meat that's threatening us with war? Wow. to think i was worried. This lumbering id1ot couldn't even win a war of words. |
lookingforjob:therein lies the source of our predicament. A lot of people were sold by the fiction that humility and a comical name automatically translate to effective leadership. One, we settled for humility at a time we needed defiant hawks. two, we tied our political destiny to some cosmic lottery of 'luck by chance' when we needed hardwork and pragmatism. Just because i named my daughter chastity doesnt mean she'd be chaste, else all the other ones named charity would've made many a man joyous. Here we're today, with the painful realisation that that there's nothing in a name or mien; a realisation arrived at only after a litany of hard knocks. 2015 will be the game changer. |
chukwudi44:In your rush to kiss her arse you missed my point: whether she stole public funds or she's fabulously wealthy, she's a public figure in a position of trust. The very wealth of the nation is in her hands. Shouldn't that require some discretion in how she lives just so to maintain that trust and fend off accusations and suspicions? Would we be having this exchange if she'd lived humbly as a public figure? If she vacates office she can spend her money however she liked. but as it is now, you can't stop tongues wagging. Flamboyance doesnt help her image. It's not law, it's just ethical. MODIFIED TO ADD : and it's only in PDP's Nigeria that mere bank directors, rather than bank owners, own private planes. |
chukwudi44:It's not about whether she can or cannot afford it. Public officials are required to be discreet in order to avoid precisely this sort of discussion. |
Omooba77:Railway again! Anytime they want to market jonah, they point out rails. We seem to be the only country still fascinated by trains. While lowly india is sending probes to mars, we're here celebrating refurbished diesel trains. 6 years. Trillions of naira. Diesel trains. |
jorlons:Drones have limited battery except if you mean the really advanced ones like the predator or mq 9 reaper, which are really expensive and we do not have. some of the youtube videos you see from conflict zones are captured with phones. Thugs can intimidate one or two voters, but not thousands, not everyone. |
jorlons:So....everyone should come along on bring-your-drone day and spend considerable time keeping the drones in the sky rather than actually voting. Reminds me of that southpark episode. Except of course you mean inec should provide one drone per polling unit. Great idea but phones are more ubiquitous and up close. And there are tiny hidden cameras on the cheap designed like pens or eyeglasses but this is too much like spying. We want to deter fraud, not simply surreptitiously archive it. I prefer the phone option. |
Eyya, and Mbu just got promoted to AIG. |
coogar:Right now GEJ is probably thinking : kai! If to say i know say i go pack comot in just one term i for kuku develop otuoke. this one wey be say light no dey there sef...and those swamp mosquitos. Sha, daris god. |
Ikengawo:Whenever we ask for his achievements you people keep throwing railways in our faces. we didnt employ him for 6 years with trillions of naira just for rails. |
dovelike:I didnt sacrifice a black ram for it not to work. Wait and see. |
Change2015:May your sperm spawn a thousand presidents, sir. |
dovelike:Too late!! |
dovelike:they're a work of art. Absolutely beautiful. without your permission I've screegrabbed the photo. Hope you wont mind. |
dovelike:By the way, i absolutely adore your lips. |
Kundagarten:By implication GEJ is not a leader. I concur. But note I said democratically elected. GEJ was selected, via rigging. In any case he neither rules, leads nor governs. All he does is superintend a den of thieves and psychopaths while steadily pushing the country to the abyss. And he has the gall to demand for another ruinous term |
Depressed and depressing bosoms. please stop offending our sensitivity with limp bags of decaying flesh. |
NgeneUkwenu:Who are these blablasticblabla and colonoscopy? I keep seeing their names invoked on every post. |
zimoni:Must? Ok let him win elections first. Second, Democratically elected leaders lead, not rule. nigeria isnt a monarchy. |
And since when is 'good intention' merely enough? All this crap about humble man, good intentions, meekness etc are all utter rubbish. Let's see you work, and not just refurbish a few old trains using trillions in 6 years. |
dovelike:Er, no. It's actually FotherMucker from birth. I actually muck other people's fothers. Haha. My brother is RuckingFetard. Lols. |
eliment:very true, and security was never in question. at least we didnt lose the territorial equivalent of belgium. even if the military inflicted any economic harm, 16 years of PDP in power and unprecedented oil wealth should've eradicated most, if not all, of the damage and built on what was existing. instead we went backwards and lost a sizeable portion of our landmass to boot. and when we ask them to account, they list some phantom transformation which included a few refurbished diesel trains, a few handsets for farmers, a few wonder stoves, and an automobile assembly plant coupling chinese knockoffs with questionable safety. think about it. trillions of naira in 16 years and all we've got to show for it are a few trains and some farmers doing facebook on phones. |
fkaz:too true. even if they sabotage the elections, even if they rig it, even if by some weird alignment of the planets GEJ 'wins', im grateful for one fact: GMB gave them a good run for their money and many a sleepless nights. a rattled PDP is more than my money's worth. |
Silly Me. There i was thinking toasters prefer bread. |
dovelike:No mind the mumu mods o. People can post pix of n.ak.ed people but they cant call it n.ake.d. you cant even say b00bs or brea.asts anymore without them changing it to bosom. Sh1t becomes poo. This attempt at censorship is pretty childish considering the colorful insults and pictures of gore one finds daily on NL. Seun et al: we're all adults here. |
siraj1402:His fault. He decided to surround himself with fellow drunkards, drug barons, drug addicts, kleptomaniacs, lunatics, gays, lesbians, pimps, thugs, touts, militants, pirates, saboteurs, provocateurs, and one lump of painful ignorance he calls his wife. |
