kinda funny hw hunting can be soo fruastrating...in Makurdi, tried nailing 57e wid 2.4m.... 3800V gave me 82%, 3660V stud @ 72% n wudnt jst increase... 4147R jst kept flashing @ intervals wid 4922.. I've skewed de Strong LNB de best way I cud n still de guds wudnt jst say hello.
I must confess am short of options...

try using a glass dielectric plate...n let the lnb tilt upwards rather than fitting the lnb holder perfectly...check thru the thread there is a pic abt it

meaning ur lnb is not pointing at center of d dish, in days of irib I track it with d centre plate with 1.3m getting signal @78 % then I decided to up something and I now removed d centre plate and my signal drop to 54% and put d plate back and signal return back to 78%. put d centre put d back and adjusted ur lnb for good signal

i dont have the plate...how do i make a diy plate?

I stay in Abuja. You can try it with 2.4m. I am using 2.4m and able to get 96% on the strongest frequency 3660 H 8883. The Channels on Frequency 3800V20000 is are two frequencies. While I got 72% on 4147V8850.

i have done all settings quite right on 2.4m dish but 61% is the best i get on that tp.
my dish has a space(round hole) at the center, i see u covered urs, does that improve signal quality?

you can't really clear or delete the "others" storage. Though there is this folder in document called debug, you can delete whatever is inside. Try looking for files that isn't among the common file types(videos, pictures,etc), it's these files that makes up "other". That others and system(you may not have noticed, but it keeps increasing) is still a prob. Hope they fix it in Windows 10

life as a moderator must be pretty hard. i would imagine it as a living hell, sitting behind a computer all day reading very vile comments that you conclude is too offensive for viewers must be pretty damning even if you are not the one the attack is directed at.
all the offensive stuff people write, you read it all alone, thoughts of how bad the world is runs through your mind, you even might take up the notion that humanity is lost forever, would'ntcha?

how do they deal with it?
do they sit and do the job with a bottle of whisky?
or they dont let it bother them by inclining to the notion 'it was all just a bad joke'?
or they let it not get to them after all they're not the ones been 'attacked' and take solace they have done their jobs by hiding such comments, and there's nothing else they can do?


any way moderators choose to deal with their exposure to such comments, no matter how strong a character a moderator has, there's a damning effect accompanying their job.
