A friend of mine asked if as a christian ''is it good to celebrate valentine?" I'm sure lot of believers have been asking same question.

One big issue a lot of us have as a christian is that we rarely create time to study the bible;hence, we rely solely on what pastors preach to us. A lot of these pastor condemn the day without even having insight of what the bible says about that particular day.

Is it ok to celebrate the day? My answer is a BIG YES.. It depends on what purpose and how you intend to celebrate your valentine.


To sum it up, I will take you to the biblical celebration of Valentine. How is it to be celebrated?

The bible in the book of Numbers, chapter 9 vs 11 and I quote

The fourteenth day of the second month at even, they shall keep it. They are to eat the lamb, together with unleavened bread and bitter herbs.

Do not say this is an old tradition or old testament. Remember Jesus Christ is the same Yesterday, Today and Forevermore and His standard never changes..

So Christians go ahead and celebrate your Valentine in the right way..
