Some websites and blogs say the story it's untrue www.omg.com.ng/2012/07/no-bomb-explosion-in-bauchi-nysc-camp/ |
Baawaa: Well-done,98.8% of those who comment on this topic condemned the speech of the minister, whereas we don't put into consideration that this could be the outcome of the meeting he had with the president.GEJ,will be the one that told them that NYSC was established by law,and it cannot be tampered for now because changing it now will have negative effect on his record. So,we should not see the minister alone as the one who want to sacrifice youth corpers.I agree with you.Like I said in my first post, people should blame Jonathan and not the minister. He couldn't have said that without Jonathan's endorsement |
Tales by moonlight |
maclatunji: Awwwwww, your ignorance is so cute.I forgot I was arguing with a fanatic. What a waste of time. |
maclatunji: The logic is sound and I have loved ones there.Boko haram is killing Christians and the last time I checked, you are not a Christian. So I don't expect you to understand. So to me,your logic is still twisted |
maclatunji: You people don't get it, Nigeria is on the verge of becoming a failed state. If Corp members cannot be posted to any part of this country, then the government has failed. Now, I agree that people should not be posted to crisis-ridden states. However, instead of corp members and their families selfishly seeking to "escape" those states, we must ask the question, what about people living in these troubled states? Don't they deserve to live a normal life? Away from looking out for "our own." What pressure have we put on the Federal Government to secure these people's lives and property.I hope they will post one of your loved ones to one of those states.Very twisted logic.Your post makes no sense. You are the selfish one and the hypocrite |
Jonathan makes me sick.Don't blame the minister. He couldn't have said that without Jonathan's support.Jonathan is more interested in pleasing a particular section of the country than doing what is right. Will he live with his conscience if these children are killed? What are the southern Governors doing?None of them have spoken out against these postings.Till these youth corpers become organized and launch a massive boycott, these postings will continue. When less than 20 people report to camp, they will think twice before posting |
Musiwa2: You are not expose, it is not a combination of factors... that is stoping us.. You dont know anything about nigeria. They need to break it up to protect the people of Nigeria.Only if people will put misplaced nationalism aside and speak more like you do.It's better to break peacefully before Nigeria becomes Yugoslavia part 2 |
ooseven: I understand your sentiments but a breakup might not be as easy as you think. It may not also be to anyone's advantage. We are strong today simply because of our diversity just like the US. Unfortunately we have a combination of factors stopping us from fully achieving our true potentials. Those are the issues which should be tackled.I love your optimism and admire your nationalism but it's time to tell ourselves the truth. Our diversity is not like that of the United States. So it's wrong to compare the two.Let's have a Sovereign National Conference. If we decide to stay together, fine but if we decide to break up,fine too.Czech Republic and Slovakia are doing well today |
T-smooth:Another low life without anything to show in life. You should spend more time making your miserable life meaningful instead of hating |
lacasa: Yet these same bomb-making abokis are sitting on most of the highest positions in the landIt's interesting that a bigot is saying that bigotry won't take us anywhere. Why don't u lead by example and stop your bigotry? |
lacasa: Most of the yigbos go school?El rufai, you again?Shouldn't you be on twitter insulting Jonathan? |
tintingz: infact those abokis and igbos don turn Lagos to business place Rhino.5dm:Everything must come down to tribalism. It's amazing how many low lives we have on nairaland |
Ileke-IdI:Don't come back o.Only God knows whether there will even be a country to come back to in the next six months |
Ganys: Hmmmm...Why are you quoting yourself? |
Billyonaire: Its time to import observatory drones, about 20,000 UAVs can monitor the Northern perimeters night and day and the feeds can be analyzed.I like the point you made about the observatory drones but unfortunately,we don't have people that think that way within our intelligence agencies. |
Sun of god: "The funeral was just concluded when heavily armed men in military uniforms descended on the mourners, shooting at the senator and other officials at point blank range."Maybe they stole the uniforms or soldiers participated in the killings.Remember that soldiers were once accused by the berom |
Emmy9ite: if a senator can be killed with tight security, who again is safe..am sure at his funeral, gunmen will come and kill another top chief,so will the cycle continue!Who said he had tight security? There was no mention of tight security in the report.A report I saw said the attackers wore military uniforms.I hope soldiers were not part of this |
alaoeri: No wonder GEJ doesn't want to visit troubled state. He doesn't want to visit but they sent youth corpers there |
The govt assured youth corpers that these states were safe.We have seen how safe they are.May the souls of the departed rest in peace |
This is terrible.May his soul rest in peace |
Tribalism is one thing I find annoying on nairaland. Some moderators are also too overzealous and vindictive. That's annoying too |
Reyginus: Flogging a child will not make him/her a better citizen or person. The touts and scalywags on our streets today passed through the same lashing routine, yet, nothing to justify the stroking they received.I believe communication is the key.Their is nothing as good as pointing to a child the effects of whatever ill he/she committed and advising on the proper thing to doGood comment. You just spoke my mind. |
Zeddicus: WTF is this?!? You should have just typed in Yoruba or whatever language you speak! Jeez.lol...spare the guy na |
Ngwakwe: @OpSorry for your loss.I can only imagine |
Havilah93: which one nowFigure it out |
Depends on the wife.If you have a working class wife that earns good pay, then she will be more expensive to maintain than a car but if your wife is a housewife, then she will be more expensive to maintain. |
Ejiné: Say no to tribalismI hope they will listen.Tribalism is killing nairaland |
Ileke-IdI:That's the reality of life in Nigeria. How can crimes like these stop when perpetrators are never punished? The people that massacred those youth corpers are still walking around freely |
This low life called Bluetooth should be banned. His tribalism has gone overboard and out of the norm. This thread is an example www.nairaland.com/984534/became-automobile-apprentice-7-coscharis |
~Bluetooth:Your tribalism is sickening. It was people like you in Rwanda that massacred 800,000 tutsis.I don't understand why the moderators tolerate a sick mind like you.How do we end tribalism in Nigeria when low lives like you exist? |
