phantom:Every politician is a betrayer. If Amaechi betrayed his people what about the president who didn't do anything for us. It's all about personal interest. They are all selfish because they don't let us choose who we want to represent us. Even Buhari is like that, he's there to fulfill his personal dreams. I know you asked to question to indirectly find out if I'm actually what you called me, but it doesn't matter. If GEJ had won the election, by now Amaechi would probably be in exile or jail so he did what seemed best for him. But there's this belief that if you don't support APC or Buhari, especially if you are from the south, then you are an ethnic bigot or worse still corrupt. But it doesn't change the fact that Amaechi and co are corrupt and our president dined with them, therefore there will always be bias in everything he does. |
ricsman:Then you must be a core APC member to support Amaechi then. And with the way you sound, I don't think you are from Rivers State. It's all about choice. To Amaechi's supporters, he's a god to them and to some APC members outside the state, he gave them the presidency. But to us here, we know what we lost and our still losing because of him. Amaechi probably the most corrupt governor in Nigeria and this doesn't mean GEJ isn't corrupt but Rivers State is my constituency and that's where I care about. |
phantom:Thanks for the insults. First of all, I don't want to die for GEJ because he isn't God and he's also responsible for his defeat. Secondly, I'm not a party member so I must say it the way it is in my mind. Thirdly, thank God man isn't God if not with this kind of insults coming from you, I would have been dead by now. Talking about where both of them are, it is quite clear. GEJ is at home resting and preparing for any moves PMB will make against him while amaechi escorted Buhari to the US as an ordinary citizen. Amaechi is lobbying for a position while GEJ is making governors. In as much as they have both excelled in their various endevours, I don't think you can compare GEJ's personal achievements to amaechi's. Don't forget he was the president of Nigeria, a position that will take wiping away history for Amaechi to ever be able to achieve. |
[quote author=T4taiwo post=36073531]though u may hold a contrary view about the political sagacity's of Ameachi.,that doesn't mean u should outrightly condemn him based on hear say or baseless allegation..the Op was trying to analysis the steps taken by Ameachi to bring succor and happiness to his people generally, which was firmly opposed by the cabals who only care about resuscitating their political misfortune..[/quot My brother, they say that "he that must come to equity must come with clean hands" Amaechi has instances of stopping prjects because it is situated where he isn't loved. Example is, somewhere in his LGA, the headquarters to be precise, he stopped someone from doing some internal roads there simply because he gave the person the position in NDDC and so he decides what happens. The case of Orubebe went out of hand because amaechi decided to use it to score political points by blowing it out of proportion. I must agree that his out cry resulted in the fastening of the construction process but it was the beginning of his political blackmail of the GEJ's govt. And don't forget that he also wanted to do these projects so that he will see more avenue to loot by quoting more than he spent. |
I think the only people that can stop PMB from bringing this man down are the civil society or the court. Social media can't. This is a personal vendetta that dates back to more than 30years ago, it isn't about any security breach. How can one explain, PMB being arrested by this same man at gun point on the day he was supposed to end his fast and celebrate eid el fitri and the same thing happened 3days ago to the same man. I always knew PMB will be vindictive. I'm not surprised, anyone that has any issues with him should go and settle cos he holds the stick now. As for me, I'm not bothered cos I didn't vote for him cos I didn't expect him to do much good for the country and I'm still yet to be proven otherwise. |
Whenever I see Amaechi's supporters write, I laugh so hard because all these are as a result of his hopes of clinging a ministerial position. They believe the court will council the Rivers state elections and wouldn't want what happened between him and Omehia to happen again where everyone left him and he finally won. But the truth and fact is this, Amaechi is no longer the governor of rivers state just like GEJ is no longer the president of Nigeria. All these supports will end when the tribunal as well as the court of appeal and supreme court upholds Wike's election. I am from rivers state and the same LGA as amaechi and I can say with facts that amaechi was very corrupt and ruled with impunity. Just recently, Dakuku came to PH with channels TV crew and lied about the LG chairmen issue and caused chaos and ran away. Soon Amaechi will be forgotten. How can dakuku defeat Wike when he isn't even as popular as Wike in the state. It has always been between Wike and Amaechi. But hope is a good thing, it keeps people from killing themselves. Amaechi's time has gone and to me it's good riddance. |
These men are adults and have independent minds. They came together to make music and it was time to separate and they did no matter who initiated it, even though D'banj said Don jazzy did. They contributed to each other's success and they have moved on. They were not childhood friends, it's just business that brought them together, so let's leave them to do their thing. Don jazzy is totally in charge of SMD unlike in the Mohits, Dbanj is in charge of DKM. We should be concerned about Dr. Sid who claimed Dbanj was taking his shine and yet after the Dbanj and Wande coal left he still hasn't done anything significant. Infact these new ones are actually growing better than him and D prince. What about Tuface that outrightly betrayed his group to join kennis music and even took their song with him? Why hasn't he been crucified? |
In as much as I can't see any link to this assertion I might still be tempted to believe because this Pope's style has been unique and more radical. His behaviour suits the pattern of a 21st century Christian. But truthfully I'm not in full support of this style. For instance concerning the gay law and some other controversial issues he tried to be in-between. He is a representative of God here on earth and acclaimed leader of the Christians and everything he does should be guided by the BIBLE. Therefore, except he can show me where in the bible that God promised to send someone that will change the 10 commandments apart from Jesus, then he's wrong. The bible makes a lot of things clear especially concerning Gays and unbelievers, but so far he tends to have been making decisions based on how people that aren't Christians will perceive him. God told us in the Bible that any thing we here or see that isn't there is false and not from him. N/b: my post isn't for atheists. Thanks. |
To APC goons he's talking rubbish but to the opposition he's making sense. But no matter how you place it, things are not looking well. Buhari is becoming a victim of his own propaganda. They say "wailing wailers" but they forget that this is the same way PDP called APC names until they took over. Buhari must fulfill all his promises. Every elected person likes to celebrate 100days in office, with the pace he's going, he won't be able to give us anything then. Buhari's tenure will show us that who the president is isn't the problem in Nigeria but the system and the entity called Nigeria itself is the problem. |
The thing dey pain o. Infact one of cousins used to arrange his slippers close to their door whenever we visit and about to go. He always knew when we were about leaving. |
Personally, I will go with his proposal especially concerning the geo-political zone point. It used to be like that before it was changed. It is to me the only way to end the national issues we have in this country. Everything is in a mess in Nigeria, it's not about APC or PDP but there are lots of aggrieved regions and ethnic groups. Why then do we justle for human right or freedom of association? USA has in their law that if at any time any of its state wants to pull out they can do that, since they are together it means they actually want to be. Scotland had to vote last year if they wanted to remain in great Britain, so why can't Nigeria let this happen? I'm not in support of division but I support regional govt. |
Creativity. These are the kind of artists that we need in nollywood. |
1,2 and 5. That's all. If I'm obsessed with great Sex, I will look for a porn actress. |
MrCuddles:I didn't expect everyone to understand. And to make it simpler I actually listed these three things to make it easy. Wherever you go you must find either a stick or stone or machete. My point is, I can't fight this man if he does that, but it doesn't stop me from injuring him. And I thought this topic was opened for fun, how come you are taking it serious? |
Nigerian Police force is too unprofessional. Who knows what actually moved them to do what they did. As far as I'm concerned, it's not about the tattoos. I think they have other reasons but because they couldn't push him into the vehicle, that's why they cooked up this tattoo story. Afterall some of them have tattoos. |
What you don't understand is that gone are those days when men fight man to man without weapons. Nowadays, before you say jack, your head is broken with a bottle or stone or stick and worse still your hand is cut off with a machete. I hope the above answers your question on what I will do. And after that, within 5seconds I will be at the police station to report him because people like this are licensed not to fight in public. Moreover he's just on steroids. |
we will see a lot of this kind of situation in Nigeria. Buhari is very vindictive, but I hope he chooses the people to victimize carefully so it doesn't backfire. Apart from FOI, I don't think Nigeria as a country is moving forward especially our democracy. And this new alliance with USA can never be good. |
This doesn't just happen to wedding programmes alone, it happens to a lot of typed documents. If not because of autocorrect there would be problems. Most of these people that type in business centers can't even spell so how do you expect them to be able to type a full document without error. Always make sure to check and correct any typed document. |
It's very dangerous but it's fun. I bet most of them have done this for years and it probably was very difficult for them when they first got there. Reminds me of when we used to jump from trees and uncompleted storey buildings and land on sand when I was small. And there hasn't been any report of somebody falling off that place. |
Nice one. Captivating headline. |
Don't forget, the higher the speed the faster it consumes battery life. Soon enough we will 5G and 6G. |
Impunity and lawlessness everywhere. Everyone wants to use the little power he or she has to oppress others and yet we blame the leaders. |
I'm not a lawyer but but I know Wike will never work with APC's LG chairmen. Of course he wasn't expecting his govt to be smooth so these hiccups are expected but he will never work with them. And the high court case was already on before the LG chairmen went to the industrial court to procure an injection. But let's see how things unfold. |

tunwumi:You don't have to criticize everything my brother. Do you know how much it would cost to establish a new higher institution? What about salary issues? The man is from Ogoni Land and the school is located there as well and therefore even if he establishes a new school, it is most proper to rename this particular one after him. |
This is not a drill. It should be investigated. Lol |
Adeboyefa:I can't remember blaming Buhari for it. And I actually blamed Borno state governor, so I don't see the conflict here. |
I still maintain that in as much as some girls were abducted, they were done with the support of some northerners and borno State governor is completely involved. Blame GEJ all the way but there was little he could because a man can't keep your house in order when you that own and live in the house doesn't want it. Some of the IDPS believe GEJ is the sponsor of BH and that's the idea given to them by their imams. But we have refused to see the truth and say it because of political affiliations. By the time BH exist till next year, we will start to see what we did to ourselves. The ethnicity and religious extremism in this country is too much. I won't be surprised if someone from the north starts abusing me for saying the truth that they know. Their imams in the mosques are largely responsible for some of these things. These people believe in their leaders and depend on them for feeding and living. So a man will do literally anything for the person that feeds him. And that's the problem with SOME of our northern brothers. I hope PMB gets it right. |
ahsekeena:Except when you have to count money abi? |
