To make the discuss/ teaching more healthy and interesting, I will suggest the organisers comes up with standing rules that will promote orderliness in presentations, respect of opinions and doctrines and recess that will allow outsiders participate, ask interrogating questions and keep abay if neccessary. The rules should be well understood and accepted by the participants. |

You have answered your own question, you dont need to go to church since you already have a heart that tells you what is good and bad and dont need anyone to tell you. All good ideas are not always God's ideals. I believe you are just going to church to show off. If you are in Rome behave like a roman not a Jamaican. If your heart tells you its good does not really mean God wants it. First thing first, have a truthful encounter with God not a Sunday Sunday encounter. Does you dressing, way of life, speech, appearance glorify God, will people come to Christ through you? I think these are question that are food for thought. A creature will give birth to its kind. We can not fool God with our assumed claim of having relationship with Him, when He has no relationship with us. God is not mock. Gal 5:16-25 |

Maybe they will see the truth and understand where they stand cos obviously from this thread you have seen that most Christians don't know much about their God.. So rudedough what type of athiest are you? Is it the one that believes God doesn't exist but believes He is a wicked God up till the point that you were almost shedding tears when He killed several people? Is it the one that believes some portion of the bible that paints God bad and others portion are irrelevant? Or the one that has scores to settle with God. Pls define your athiest first and let's know where U stand. And also do help us remove those smiling/laughing icons when typing because you don't sound funny or interesting but sarcastic and display of childish orientation. Thanks in advanced. |

Pastor Kun: You fail to realise the level of havoc this false tithe doctrine is causing in the church today. In the time of Jesus he expressed his anger by physically assaulting those who turned religion into a money making venture like tithe preachers today. So our open rebuke still falls below Christ's standard going by scriptures.. So if you were in Christ's shoe on that night at the garden of gethsemane you would have encouraged peter to fight on. Beautifully done. You shall know the truth and the truth shall set u free. Christ quoted the old testaments in the synagogue and doing his 40days temptation. It was compiled in scrolls (bits of the old testaments) then and kept in the temple and wasn't by the Catholics. |

@ Bidam, I must confess, you have out-rightly taught and done everything one should know on the teaching of speaking in tongues. I have picked some few and added some knowledge also. I will like to tell you that contrary to some objections and views here, I will confidently say, they come from the lack of the touch or personal/ close experience of the said topic and they will rather take it by the letters and mere personal head knowledge and interpretations. Things of the Spirit as I will always tell those that care to listen is best explained when you have a personal or close experience that is, if you truly and keen to experience it. Let me share first from my mum's experience. Then I had known my mum to be a Christian for more than 20 years, she observed to detail everything the religion preaches, but several years ago we were under a ministration and the topic was on the Holy spirit and she was so surprised that truly she was not a born again Christian(though she works fervently in the church). She gave her life with all soberness and she signified after a while for the Holy spirit baptism. She didn't received it that day despite her zeal and hunger. We were a the family night devotion one day before things changed. Instantly we didn't known what came in on her, she broke down in tears and began to pray in an unknown tongues. The atmosphere was filled instantly and revelations that was hidden and unknown to the family for several years came out from her and we prayed to the following day although some of us fell asleep when she continued. She received a boldness that she had never experienced before even going out to pray for the sick in the neighborhood and God really answering her prayers. Up till this moment she is known as the praying woman in the family and in the neighborhood. That was my close encounter with the holy spirit baptism and speaking in tongues. 1 Like |

Ask the spirit of God, remove religious blindness and go into the presence of the Lord in truth and in Spirit.
