God bless the UN, I have read comments that are very discouraging and wicked just because of election. I remembered the UN when Nigerians went thru difficult times during IBB and Abacha era, how they stood their grounds with the other international communities and how God backed them up and fought for us. The same civilians are happy that our Gallant soilders will be denied life and their families go thru pains. GEJ may their bloods be upon your head and family and those who support these execution if it is carried out. Nigerians can be this wicked and devilished just because of election you are supporting this nonsense?

Yes...and in the long term....we could have the same problem we had in the 1980's with PAN, Volkswagen of Nigeria etc plants.....unless we get Ajaokuta working again. All those plants will rely on imported materials to make their cars.....which is OK if you are Japan with a large global market....but not Nigeria.
its unfortunate Nigerians just comment foolishly without knowledge because those in authority are also daft and insincere. Nigeria cannot boast of a manufacturing plant now because of all indices and factors except assembly plant from the same importation. 1.Nigeria needs stable power generation to at least 70% for productive production line that will last and be profitable. 2. Nigeria needs stable raw material production line like Ajaokuta steel, Oshogbo steel and rolling mills etc to kick-off and start first for quality monitoring and standard production. 3. Nigeria needs a solid technology bedrock maybe through imitation or transfer (like Japan) that will compete, stand and last the the emerging competitive, changing automotive technology and Market industry. In europe in the early 90s a lot of aotomobile industries could not maintain their automobile lines thereby crash and went under carpet and in the late 90s a lot merged to maintain the ever expensive production line. Without all these our celebrated assembling industry will soon crash. Mark my words. I am an Engineer and the government is neither sincere nor knowlegdeable.

Christianity EtcRe: Once Saved Always Saved Is A False Doctrine. Beware! by brainpulse: 11:43pm On Sep 26, 2014
I will like us to be more practical knowing fully well at the back of my mind that it will be difficult to have a discussion with someone that does not have a genuine salvation experience. 1. What is the reason for the salvation of a man's soul? 2. What is the role of man in salvation. 3. Does man have a choice to receive and reject the salvation of his soul? 4. What can be the interest of the devil against man receiving and maintaining his salvation?
Christianity EtcRe: Once Saved Always Saved Is A False Doctrine. Beware! by brainpulse: 11:30pm On Sep 26, 2014
5solas: From the verses above we can see salvation cannot come by the ''deeds of the law'' (doing what the law requires/keeping the law), this is because we cannot keep the law, also supposing we can, if we fail in one, we are guilty of all! (James 2:10) . The law reveals our sin, so rather than justify/save, it condemns!
There is a way to be righteous that does not come from keeping the law. This is the way of faith. There is a righteousness that comes from faith. God will reckon anyone who believes in Jesus righteous because Jesus fulfilled the just requirements of the law (Romans 8:3,4). That salvation is by faith keeps us from being able to boast because even this faith is given by God (Eph.2:8,9;Phil: 1:29,1Cor.1:30).
So Paul concludes that salvation is entirely of grace and then says that the fact that works are excluded in salvation does not mean that he is saying the law should no longer be kept. He says we are better able to keep the law when we have faith.
Works come after our salvation and are not to be done with the intent of obtaining salvation.
The OP didn't say Salvation is by Law. Salvation is by God's grace through Christ Jesus and it still depends on an individual to whole heartedly receive and abide in such grace by following the Words of God "you Word have I hidden in my heart so that I will not sin against you." That is the reason a christian must study and meditate on the Word of God to have a vivid and fore knowledge of the devices of the enemy. Salvation for a christian does not just stop at the stage of professing, he has to understand closely the ordinances of God for a healthy and close relationship with God. We all know the devil sets various traps as temptations for our relationship with God to go sour by disobeying these ordinances and when such relationship with God is broken, the faithful christian with soberliness has to go to God for forgiviness which the Lord that sees all heart shows His love. When a believer falls into temptation of various kinds, the spirit of God ministers to him and he has a choice to either obey or grieve the Spirit of God. The believer still has that choice to look back and break his relationship and gift of salvation. With the same mouth, heart and action that salvation is received, it can be broken. "Any man that places is hands on the plow and looks back is not fit for the kingdom of God" Luke 9:62

debbleopto: This is the issue. The US military expert where invited to assist our military in training. The training also involved the use if weapons to combat terrorists. They were appalled seeing obsolete weapons in this 2014. whereas the govt had explained that this is the so and so amount already spent in capital for the military. So upon physical evaluation of those things, they discovered that the worth is far from the money said to been spent. The US official did not know they are reporting to the one holding to some of the money.

Christianity EtcRe: Joagbaje Was Right About Ebola, Jesus Is The Cure, AnotherEbola Victim Testifies by brainpulse: 6:56pm On Sep 05, 2014
mbaemeka: I can prove the message I believe is right because I can (first of all) show you the scripture that teaches it and then I can demonstrate to you that it works. My style is different from those who talk, talk and. . .talk more. Those who can quote logos (albeit misappropriated) but then will shy away from showing us that what they believe works or will altogether say it is not supposed to work. No No No!

Paul said: "my preaching wasn't done with just mere persuasive words of man's wisdom. It was backed up with demonstration of the Spirit's power in what I believe. I did this so that your faith will not rely on the wisdom of men but in the power of God" (Paraphrasing 1 Corinthians 2:4-5)

If Paul needed to brother, then it is good for every Christian. Do you think I would like to believe in something that doesn't work? I am just like you too- I never want to put my trust in something that doesn't work and God's word works!!

As per me calling some people demon-infested, brother it is because they are. If you are full of the Spirit and can discern spiritually this will not be new to you. Many times I don't even write of my own volition, he gives me the words and I type it down. Sometimes I use the word to judge and the word is a wise judge- He judges rightly.

Don't get me wrong I know the difference between sheer ignorance and when someone is possessed. For the former just show them the word and they will refrain from doing what they have been doing (The entrance of God's word brings light and understanding the Psalmist says), while for the latter, no amount of clear scriptures will convince them because they are controlled by a spirit whose soul aim is to destroy them. Don't be mistaken.

The urge to bring another Christian down (for example) can never be from God no matter how we try to dress it. So when I see "supposed" Christians writing lies about a fellow or even bearing false witness I know it cannot be from God. Jesus told the Jews (who thought they were Children of God) that they were of their father the devil and his acts they must do. He was a murderer from the beginning and when he talks he speaks only lies because he is the father of lies (not the father of liars).

So when people believe lies and start reposting it everywhere they are unwittingly taking in seeds of Satan. That type of thing will only grow into full time demons and that's what I am addressing.

Hope you understand.

Christianity EtcRe: What Is The Paramater For Measuring HOLINESS?. by brainpulse: 7:36pm On Aug 17, 2014
Spiritual fruitfulness is not religious dressing and rituals. Col 1:10 so that you will walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, to please Him in all respects, bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God; Luke 6:43-44
"For there is no good tree which produces bad fruit, nor, on the other hand, a bad tree which produces good fruit. "For each tree is known by its own fruit. For men do not gather figs from thorns, nor do they pick grapes from a briar bush.

John 15:1-8 Abiding and Abounding in God truthfully reflects in every areas of a believer's life, it is the only thing that makes him produce fruits that befits and shows the Glory of God we serve.-Gbile Akanni

Christianity EtcRe: What Is The Paramater For Measuring HOLINESS?. by brainpulse: 7:34pm On Aug 17, 2014
"You can't be leaving in holiness and righteousness and be spiritually barren. Spiritual fruitfulness is an evidence of a believers close work with the Glorious God. A believer's work with the righteous God will always result in continuous growth in virtues and in the wisdom of God which shows in the fruit they bear. Professing and not working in holiness is a spiritual deception of those that only know God by name but not working with Him".- Gbile Akanni

The rules should be well understood and accepted by the participants.

You have answered your own question, you dont need to go to church since you already have a heart that tells you what is good and bad and dont need anyone to tell you. All good ideas are not always God's ideals. I believe you are just going to church to show off. If you are in Rome behave like a roman not a Jamaican.

If your heart tells you its good does not really mean God wants it. First thing first, have a truthful encounter with God not a Sunday Sunday encounter.

Does you dressing, way of life, speech, appearance glorify God, will people come to Christ through you? I think these are question that are food for thought.

A creature will give birth to its kind. We can not fool God with our assumed claim of having relationship with Him, when He has no relationship with us. God is not mock. Gal 5:16-25

rudedough: We're discussing the bible and i don't like arguing blinding, just pointing out the reality of God to Christians from their "Holy Book". Maybe they will see the truth and understand where they stand cos obviously from this thread you have seen that most Christians don't know much about their God.

You have seen someone argued that God does not accept human sacrifices until i showed him a number of occurrences. Doesn't that tell you that Christians don't know about God except what was read to them in Church? Wouldn't it be right if i show them the truth from their bible?

So rudedough what type of athiest are you? Is it the one that believes God doesn't exist but believes He is a wicked God up till the point that you were almost shedding tears when He killed several people? Is it the one that believes some portion of the bible that paints God bad and others portion are irrelevant? Or the one that has scores to settle with God. Pls define your athiest first and let's know where U stand. And also do help us remove those smiling/laughing icons when typing because you don't sound funny or interesting but sarcastic and display of childish orientation. Thanks in advanced.
