Hmmm, it appears to me you are talking about a certain unit in the Nigeria Police force who sees supposedly successful young men and women as threat, and use the authority they were given to extort and assault them.

Look, I sympathize with all the innocent private businesses who were caught in the middle of this chaos. However, the blame squarely lie on the government. The lack of leadership in this country is very clear even to the blind, and when there is lack of leadership, this is the result.
It's seems you've not had any business with a poor fellow before. Merely looking at you they are already looking for a means to defraud you. I don't even go to the market anymore because from your accent they just give you exorbitant prices .
CelebritiesRe: Lekki Toll Gate: DJ Switch Speaks About Shootings by Brandonx(m):
undecided They even tried to kill her. This is to tell you how far they can go just to cover their tracks. And some insane people would come here creating silly threads to say it's all lies.

Imagine the tension; A dark crowded place, sounds of gunshots I can't even imagine it because it's making nauseous.

@dj switch I would give you a treat when next I'm in lagos.

It's because the middle class are not doing what they should be doing. Middle class is supposed to demand for an equitable society. But they are not doing that. Rather their aspirations is to join the ruling class at the top. Which most times is an illusion.

Now, the only class the lower class can take out their anger is the middle class. We don't leave in isolation
The "middle class " didn't sit whilst waiting for manner to fall from heaven. Some worked very hard to get to where they are today.
So it's very unfortunate that some lazy folks would unleash their frustration on someone who's trying to make ends meet.
" Wahala no dey finish" it's not easy for anyone the poor should let that sink into their head.
But again I don't blame them it has always been like that. I believe that's how witchcraft started in villages.

PoliticsRe: What Is The Security Situation Of Things In Your Area Today? by Brandonx(m): 12:26pm On Oct 23, 2020
I'm already in my village it's peaceful grin grin

Security personnel should use this opportunity to purge those miscreants out of Nigeria. If there's any group perpetuating crime out there, they should be arrested immediately and those resisting arrest should be killed. So Nigerians can walk without fear at night.
BusinessRe: Owners Of Looted Shops At Surulere Mall Cry As They Count Losses by Brandonx(m): 12:16pm On Oct 23, 2020
We live in a country where the poor sees the rich and they are reminded of their failure and would look a for a way to either defraud that rich person or bring them down.
PoliticsRe: Feminist Coalition Stops Accepting EndSARS Donations by Brandonx(m): 11:57am On Oct 23, 2020
This is a very good time for our security personnel to go out and pack all those burning and looting under the guise of #EndSARS. Anyone resisting arrest should be killed.
Pack eyafèh fèh fèh let our country be free from rogues .

Those who lost their lives
Those suffering from everything right now
Those whose shops were looted
Those who because of this would be jobless
To answer the questions above "THE COMMON MAN"
The nation they claim they are fighting for they are busy destroying it; where's the sense in that undecided
Politicians and their families won't be affected.
PoliticsRe: The Aftermath Of Oyigbo Attack by Brandonx(m): 11:23am On Oct 23, 2020
It's not fulani herdsmen it's the indigene.
If people are well informed, yes in a situation as this there would destruction of properties but not in this manner.
The Nigerian government paid lip services to education, infrastructure and employment now this is just a tip of the iceberg.
If this protest had lingered on; 3 months max Nigeria would be History.

This would send a message to those fanning the embers of war that nothing pleasant could ever come out of it.
It might take roughly six months or more to recover from this self inflicted hardship.
It'just like a man fighting with his landlord decides to pull off his roof because he's angry.
When it eventually rains he will be the one to bear the brunt.
PoliticsRe: Tope Mark Odigie's Husband Dared Consequences To Rescue Her At TVC by Brandonx(m): 10:53am On Oct 23, 2020
The trauma of everything won't fade away easily. The government failed to address the situation. They obviously thought we were still in the 1980s where one has to listen to the radio to get information.
I believe now they've seen delay could be very dangerous.
CrimeRe: Police Kill 5 Looters In Ikotun, Arrest Scores by Brandonx(m): 9:50am On Oct 23, 2020
I'm in support of this; looters should be killed at sight since they decided to hijack a peaceful protest they don't deserve to be in the new Nigeria we are all clamouring for.

After looting and burning down your community, at the end of everything you'll bear the brunt.
I hope they will all carry out financial transactions in their respective houses since they lack common sense.

Does it look like the people that looted her store are fighting for any cause huh
Then I'm afraid Nigerians are not mentally ready for a revolution.
CrimeRe: Uche Elendu's Shop Looted By Hoodlums In Lagos (Photos) by Brandonx(m): 7:17am On Oct 22, 2020
There's hunger in Nigeria but I didn't know it has gotten to this .
No conscience, if they really want to fight for a cause why not go to the houses of those politicians, why the common man ?

PoliticsRe: #EndSARS: Edo Youths Seize Police Helicopter by Brandonx(m): 11:01am On Oct 21, 2020
Our leaders are so insensitive to the plight of the masses. Not addressing the situation immediately would lead to anarchy.
Times have changed, people get information at their finger tips. So any delay in a sensitive issue as this could cause a whole lot of problem.
But I'm not surprised at all when old men hijacked the country and refused to let go.

I hope it doesn't get to the point where those fanning the embers of war would start supplying weapons to the youth.

PoliticsRe: Sanwo-Olu Imposes 24-Hour Curfew In Lagos by Brandonx(m): 11:54am On Oct 20, 2020
undecided some Nigerians obviously love mediocrity, something that would birth a new Nigeria some rogues hijacked and turned it into something else. I'm in pain because if they don't stop this protest now it would definitely end in tears.

They don't know the difference between a protest and riot.

Are these thugs perpetrating this act possessed ? Or they are so comfortable with the current state of things in Nigeria?

Baiser:
What you fail to realise is, Goodluck was borrowing to feed the country.

Debt is not a bad thing if Its used judiciously, for example debt being used to build railways is a judicious investment. United states has the largest debt profile in the world.

Now, apart from the uncompleted Abuja-Kaduna railway, state another real project GEJ did?
Or have your forgotten the billions allocated to fireless stove?

Yes, buhari is a nepotic and terrible leader, yet, I daresay he is trying, despite the myraids of issues facing the country.
Railyway is nearing completion
Light supply has increased.
So this government has not been borrowing? undecided
Let's call a spade a spade let's not allow sentiment be cloud our sense of reasoning.
The railway you are talking about won't be ready by 2023. This government has failed woefully.
