Not disputing the above. What I'm telling you is that there are at least 100k people plus in each of those swing states willing to overlook Trumps foibles and vote for him if Sanders policies were the ones presented which would lose the election. You already near maximised the far-left vote this election due to their hatred for Trump so not much more to gain from that demographic, but you would have lost those demographic in those swing states that just would not back a far-left candidate, thereby losing the election. Your leadership knows this which is why they quietly worked to ensure Bidens emergence from the primaries despite trailing in the early stage.
what do you think would have happened to bidden's chances of winning in those states if he won those undecideds but the liberal voters and they do exist especially in the cities sat this out or protest voted for trump? undecided

Why did you say that ?
because some are up for election in two years time and will want to start appealing to conservative voters in their districts, some are also liberals who have higher moral standards and expect people oriented policies that go counter to what a centrist will typically espouse to and as such won't support anything that falls short of their expectations

That's wrong. Election is all about margins and when you are winning swing states by 20k votes, believe me there are more than 250k votes up for grabs in these swing states by going centrist.
get this fact straight once and for all, this election wasn't about policies! It was about personality, decency and accountability! If it was about policy the democrats would have lost! It was more about voting trump out hence the massive turnout for democrats than it was of voting for bidden! If it was about policies, many republicans won't vote for bidden and liberal democrats would have sat out in protest and seeing as the Republican and religious base always turns up bidden would have losr

I'm not going ot explain how daft is an insult. But if you had a counter to that video, you would have posted by now. Or is it because you didn't see any counter point in the comment section of the video?
one man's argument about the nature and interpretation of the law doesn't automatically translate it into being a fact and when after failing in every way else to justify a stance a supposedly well informed and intelligent person holds on to a fringe argument in defiance of precedence with the intention of going full iconoclastic irrespective of a very real bloody, expensive and negative consequence, then daft is too kind a description for such a person and as such no insult. You don't threaten to burn down Rome because you don't like the senate! Rome never forgave emperor Nero! All these of course is conjectural on me taking that talking point serious in the first place which I promise I don't grin

Mitch McConnell saying he will stifle biddens government unless he appoints centrist secretaries is what?

Liberal wing of the Democratic party is mostly concentrated in areas where Democrats would win without their vote (New York, California etc). There is more volume of vote to be won in the swing states by going moderate than far-left can provide in those states. Whether the far-left is growing or not is inconsequential if it cannot garner enough electoral votes. There are problems going forward for the Dems as I cannot see any centrist rising star which is why they had to resurrect Biden from retirement. All your rising stars are not moderate enough and therefore unelectable. This is an important fight for you guys to take seriously because the Republicans can win with fringe candidates like Trump while the democrats cannot. Therefore you guys just have to weigh the lesser of two evils and go with the centrists in your party.
in these swing states, the majority of democratic votes come from the big cities which by relative comparison are by and large liberal so yes liberal candidates can gather votes in the Midwest too whether it will be enough I'm not so sure as of now, but if we take reeducation and reorientation of the electorate very seriously by pointing the facts beyond the Republican rhetorics out even the growing younger population in the rust belt will break of ranks from their traditional Republican supporting elders and grow the democratic base

The left wing democrats (the squad people) can only win in inner cities. They can't win in middle America, and if the Democratic party goes their way, they will never win on National level. Pelosi has done a good job managing them not to become the face of the party. It is never a good idea for a party to go too extreme if they want to succeed. Any middle class person with assets to protect will always vote against a hard jerk to the left. Na students and poor people dey vote extreme left for the most part. I've been supporting Conservatives in UK for most of the last decade due to Jeremy Corbyn and Ed Milliband going too far left in the Labour Party, while the Conservatives presented moderate options in Cameron and Theresa May. From 2000-2010 I was a natural Labour supporter cos their candidates (Tony Blair and Gordon Brown) were moderates. If you give the average centre-left citizen a choice between far-left and centre-right, he will go centre-right.
and yet centrist and conservative democratic candidates are losing in the countryside :to and this is because they want to be as conservative as the republicans by foolishly allowing republicans to frame the conversations and allow themselves get trapped in Republican framed talking points which in many cases fall flat on their faces when subjected to simple logical tests. If i were to contest in these places I will harp on my own arguments as a social democrat over and over again and again completely ignoring every damned Republican smear and even do a Bernie sanders taking people over the border into Canada to experience a different worldview in things like Medicare and social security and when conservatives throw up Venezuela, Cuba and what not as socialist failures I will invite politicians from Denmark, Sweden, Finland and other socialist democracies to my town halls and my opponent's to engage my opponent and the electorate and eventually the discourse will be framed in my terms and not theirs. If poor education is the Achilles heel conservatives are exploiting then I will make it my mission to educate my electorate that if they look beyond conservative rhetorics this and that are the adverse effects of their policies on them. My point is simple, you never let republicans frame the conversation, never! Many mainstream policies today were once considered too radical and too liberal! Heck! Abe Lincoln was considered too liberal in his time! Even J. F. Kennedy was considered too liberal! Every time American society has moved forward with the times, it was because of liberal pressure so when you are condemning the liberal left remember what they have done for America

Its easy for a Democrat politician to embrace extreme left ideas when contesting in Massachusetts California and new York, vs those from Virginia, North Carolina and purple middle America states.

Biden a Democrat you can barely differentiate from a Republican just won with the highest total votes in history

All those young people will grow up and turn. All these old conservatives you see today were more liberal than these in their youths in the 60s and 70s. They were the anti war generation in Vietnam, they were the free drinking, free drugs free sex generation of Woodstock, they all grew up and saw that the world looks different when you have responsibilities

There is a reason why Biden won and not Sanders. Its because the real Americans dont want extremists
he won all these votes as a matter of fact and that is not to be disputed! A majority of these votes weren't a vote for a centrist democrats, they were votes against trump and that is also a fact! If the liberal wing of the democratic party had sat this election out like they did in 2016 bidden would have lost and that is also a fact! It is annoying how the democratic party take its large and growing liberal wing for granted expecting them to toe the line when called upon and shut up when shoved outside then attempt to guilt trip them when they sit out in protest! If nothing else, the liberal wing is the most loyal wing of the democratic party who take matters of policy very seriously! Now that bidden has won people like you among other Republican talking heads want to overlook their immense contribution to this victory, republicans will never allow democrats to have a stake in their government when in power but frame democrats discourse in a way that will force democrats to give them a stake in a democrats government! If nobody else is insightful enough to point that out some still are, republicans never build bridges but expect democrats to all the time and that is why people like Mitch McConnell can be as obstructionist and recalcitrant as he is. He is a typical republicans Republican and to someone like me far worse and more dangerous than trump

All crazy bots working feverishly to paint their criminal Joe Biden a good guy. Tough luck.

Just like Stacy Abram 700,000 votes were confiscated, banned and thrown into trash cans that finally decided her fate in last mid term elections, so shall it be with this sleepy Joe Biden.

And again, just like Hillary, Obama, Comey and Brennan were unmasked as the hands behind the Russian Collusion story, written to tarnish the image of Trump, so shall all the enemies of the US be unmasked in this election.

They’ve played into the trap set for them by the GOP.

One would have thought that they would have learnt their lessons with the several unmasking of their shenanigans over the last 4 years. They didn’t stop. It’s only a fly that would go into the wastepit that will follow the shit all the way.

Biden and Harris, come and take the White House, if you can!

I don't see it as that gloomy

There is a rise of extremism on both sides, far right and far left

Sanders was going to be nominee for the Democrats if not for joint efforts to frustrate his effort which some have argued is somehow anti democratic which is what the Republicans failed to control in 2016 they believed the normal agelong politicking will weed out Trump and didn't put in a "fix" to coalesce behind Jeb or Kasich

Just like the far left is believing getting rid of billionaires, getting rid of law enforcement, free for all bathrooms etc that are recipe for chaos. A liberal scientist recently suggested eating human flesh to curb climate change just like some batshit crazies believe that Clinton eats children grin

I have lived in Texas and lived in Massachusetts among other states and I will tell you I have experienced both sides. How the many laws enacted and stifle growth that is why many people are fleeing liberal states to the red states

There are still normal people on both sides. Take away political needs, a Biden has more in common with Bush and Romney than he has with AOC or Sanders

Unless you are saying all those voice of reasons like Biden Bush Powell Clinton Romney etc will suddenly go extinct. There will always be crazy people on both sides, we only have to not give them the center stage. That is why anytime Trump tries to tie Biden to Sanders he quickly said "I am not Sanders and that is why I defeated him"

Trump only brought out the right wing crazies and they are going back to where they belong. Hopefully the crazies on the left too go away

A Virginia congresswoman in a conference call last Thursday told the Democrats to stop all these socialist nonsense and that was why they are losing seats

I believe moderate politics will still stay after we all realize extremists are bad for us all
@ bolded, funny you should say that seeing as non of the so called socialist democrats or justice democrats as they like to be called lost their seats instead system democrats or corporate beholden democrats are the ones loosing their seats! The ones voters can't differentiate from republicans in terms of policies and politics while every justice democrat that successfully scales through the stumbling blocks set by the democratic party in their primaries wins their elections. It is funny you should equate democrats who want politicians to be actually accountable to their voters instead of lobbyists and special interests groups to the Republican tea party and their previously fringe but now mainstream lunatics like trump. I think you are being economical with the truth here! The democrats have this opportunity to embrace the current young generation who will make up the majority of the voting populace in a decade or two and their liberal worldview now or lose that franchise to another party that will embrace them! Paying attention to Republican talking heads is allowing the opposition frame your position for you and that is just plain stupid

Much like Jigsaw didn't actually kill his victims, Trump doesn't actually have to step down until he decides to. It has always been an honor based system, so the losing candidate usually concedes willingly. However, it's not a legal requirement to do so. It's going to be interesting to see how this goes but chances are that Trump may end up staying as President for an undetermined amount of time longer than expected.

This is actually scary, the fact that no one could counter what he said. He basically just admitted there is a legal way Trump can still be president even though America voted him out, and that it's actually legal and constitutional. America's founding fathers are truly something.
I smell desperation grin

Talk about the man who helped Obama fund and arm terrorist groups who beheaded civilians in Libya and Syria... Like y'all really don't know the effect of that Libya event on Africa, talk about how that paved way for some of the strongest terrorist organizations we have right now in Africa, talk about the regime change that led to Slave trade in Libya, talk about the Proliferation of ammunition that ended up in the hands of terrorist organisations in Africa, have I talked about the nonsense he did in Sudan?? Have i talked about the dustbin president he endorsed we are now suffering from?
This is just Africa.... Let's not even go into the NONSENSE he did in the middle eastern region.
Unlike Trump that, brokered peace deals in middle east, threatened Nigeria politicians with Visa ban if they unleash violence during elections (which they complied to) this only should tell you why Trump has a large fanbase, not only in Nigeria but the rest part of the world.
It's just insane when y'all say people who supports Trump are anarchist and religious bigots when it's because of his foreign polices.
"Umudike Republicans" stands for peace and peace alone plsssssssssss
good, at least you posited logical reasons i can agree with, but your reasons are majorly local to our Nigeria and by a large means extrapolated and conjectural! Now let's talk about the reasons people hate trump which are less extrapolated and conjectural and which he doesn't even care to pretend about...
1. Trump is openly racist, his office might not allow him to be overtly racist but during his campaigns he has made it clear more than once through his many unguarded comments that he isn't a man of all the people, just a man for some of the people, which people? I leave that to you to chew on.......or not.

2. Trump is openly sexist! I wouldn't care to elaborate on that

3. Trump discriminates against disabled people except when it is necessary to use them for props if his former associates are to be believed!
4. Trump is emperor Nero, he will incite, dog whistle to hate and violent groups and watch the nation burn if only to entrench himself further into the adoration of the groups that support him.

5. Trump has no sense of loyalty, he is loyal only to himself and he will throw ally's under the bus if only there's is the slightest profit to be made from it, case in point, Syrian Kurds who he exposed to attacks from the Turkish military after he had used them to fight ISIS chiefly because a trump tower deal was hanging in the balance in Istanbul.
6. Trump lies and can't seem to regard the concepts of honesty, responsibility and duty.
7. Trump is uncouth, unpresidential, immoral and needlessly cruel.

I could go on and on but you already get the gist
