Jokes Etc › Is This True About Nigerian Bloggers by Breadmaker(op): 2:20pm On Jun 26, 2016 |
1. President: I love coke.
Bloggers: PMB Has Declared War On Pepsi.
2.President to Adesina: Today at 11 o'clock there will be a total eclipse of the sun. This is when the sun disappears behind the moon for two minutes.
As this is something that cannot be seen every day, I call on managers and head of department to allow employees to view the eclipse. I, My aids, reporters and few party leaders should meet in the car park at ten to eleven, when I will deliver a short speech introducing the eclipse, and giving some background information. Safety goggles will be made available at a small cost.
Adesina to Lai: Today at ten to eleven, all of us should meet in the car park. This will be followed by a total eclipse of the sun, which will disappear for two minutes to help vulnerable Nigerians get jobs.
For a moderate cost, this will be made safe with goggles.
Mr president will deliver a short speech beforehand to give us all some background information. This is not something that can be seen every day. Lai to The Press: Mr President will today deliver a short speech to make the sun disappear for two minutes in the eclipse while the economy boosts.
This is something that can not be seen every day, so he has directed that staffs in different institutions should meet in available cars park at ten or eleven.
This will be safe, if you pay a moderate cost and it will provide jobs for vulnerable Nigerians when the economy boosts.
The Press to Nigerians: Ten or eleven vulnerable Nigerians are to go to the government house, where the President will eclipse the sun for two minutes to provide jobs for them.
This doesn't happen every day. It will be safe, but it will cost you. Bloggers: Some vulnerable Nigerians will eclipse to the government house today to see the president disappear. It is a pity this doesn't happen every day. |

Christianity Etc › Re: Why Did The Curse Of Adam And Eve Affect Most Of The Other Animals? by Breadmaker: 11:12am On Jun 26, 2016 |
hopefulLandlord: .
GEN 2:19 And out of the ground the LORD God formed every beast of the field, and every fowl of the air; and brought them unto Adam to see what he would call them: and whatsoever Adam called every living creature, that was the name thereof.
but you're now saying they were not "created"?
.
. and you know these? how? where was it written in the bible that they weren't promised eternal life?
and your original long post states that Lion and tigers were " canivourous" animals, so they had to feed on flesh to survive, how were they surviving when in the garden? were they eating other animals too?
god placed a curse on man and snake that they'll attack each other, how come some other animals asides snake attack us? Genesis 1 24 And God said, Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after his kind: and it was so. They were commanded into existence not taken out time to create like human. Stop reading bible like a novel. Let me confuse the already confused mind? Verse 27 said "So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them" How is this so when we read later that eve was made from adam's rib? I don't want to go deep into scriptures with you because you're not arguing to learn. When bible says in Genesis 3:15 and I quote "And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel." it was talking about eve or humans neither was God commanding snake to attack us. He was talking about Christ and his church(the woman's seed) and satan. |

PassingShot: Great development!
Nigerian Armed Forces have achieved a lot in the last one year compared to what they achieved in the five years before 2015.
Same can be said of EFCC and ICPC.
Kudos to the Commander in Chief.
Let me predict the reaction of our mourning wailers to this news.
"Picture or we don't believe"
Show them photos and they'll say "video or we don't believe"
Show them video and they'd say "it's old video. It was recorded in 240 BC"
Such is their unfortunate reaction to good news about Nigeria. You can never satisfy them. Do you think bokoharam still have the capacity to hold 5000 people captive? If yes is your answer then I think something is wrong somewhere. It is either you need a brain upgrade or the NA have been lying about victory over bokoharam. It means they were never technically defeated. I love what the NA is doing but this particular lie is unbelievable |

hopefulLandlord: the question still stands bro, you wrote what you "think"
were the animals already meant to give birth with labour?
if yes, what did they do wrong to deserve it?
did they sin against him too?
and for the part where you said the ground was cursed that's why animals too suffer before feeding, why does the curse affect aquatic creatures too Humans were not created like animals. Animals were commanded to exists, humans we created and molded in the image of the creator. The creator has been and will always be that was why humans(his image and likeness) were made perfect just like him and the benefit was easy life till eternity but they failed. Perfection disappeared the moment they failed so they became like other animals. animals were never promised eternal life or easy life. What's hard to understand in my comment? |

Nairaland General › Re: What Month Of The Year Has The Highest Number Of Birthday Celebrant On Nairaland by Breadmaker: 10:10am On Jun 26, 2016 |
DEAFandDUMB: My dear, if your wife is pregnant and around August the weather gets too cold, will you still add another baby to the one already in the womb?.. The answer is No.
People make babies from 1st of January to 31st of December of every year but it depends on what your post(sperm) makes is to FP(pregnancy).. Lol. In statistics, we work with facts, figures and figures.
Do high percentage of people wed during Xmas?
Yes.
Are they likely to consummate after wedding?
Yes..
Are there any possibility of the bride getting pregnant after honeymoon?
Yes.
When is expectant month of delivery?
September..
Thank you.. Alright, I give it to you |
Nairaland General › Re: What Month Of The Year Has The Highest Number Of Birthday Celebrant On Nairaland by Breadmaker: 9:52am On Jun 26, 2016 |
DEAFandDUMB: Lots of weddings take place during festive period like xmas and easter... Applying statistical formula here, if the brides get pregnant immediately after honeymoon session, then add 9months to December which is period of Xmas and you will have September as the delivery date.. Going by this analysis, I think September ti take over. Lol. The weather is always cold during august and a lot of things happen in cold weathers. People normally combine their body temperature to stay warm so if we should calculate it that way then it definitely isn't september. Likely to be may or june. |

They say wisdom comes with age but Buhari totally rubbishes that saying!
Dullard is an understatement! Chai!!!
lalasticlala I tell people that Buhari is the architect of his problems. Nigeria has never been this confused and divided. He's is careless with words and rarely asks his advisers for advice. The level of hatred and tribalism in Nigeria today are fruits from the seed of hatred he sowed during Jonathan's tenure. Now the ungovernable country he created for the past leader is right under his control, still ungovernable. Worse than it was and a sane man expects me to pray for him. Who am I to interfere in Karma's business? |

Christianity Etc › Re: Why Did The Curse Of Adam And Eve Affect Most Of The Other Animals? by Breadmaker: 9:20am On Jun 26, 2016 |
This is the first time I am coming accross this type of question.
Well, @Op, goan read the bible creation story again and you will know better.
Easy life wasn't promised to animals before the fall of adam. the built in defense mechanisms of animals shows they were created to fend off attack. This suggests struggle and death.
Secondly, animals like lions and other carnivors must have fed on other animals to survive so eternal life wasn't promised to animals.
That should also tell you that the sin of adam lowered humans from being perfect human beings to being higher animals.
We were downgraded and that is why we exhibit some animal traits like, pains during childbirth, eating and killing of other humans and fight for territory.
Finally, Animals migrate to search for food because the ground was cursed.
This is what I Think |

Trust me, if Jonathan was like Buhari then Buhari would have been long gone because he was once an unarmed protester. |
