sambless2013: Thank you very much, now i understand the 9k but my 9 courses are 2 units so i should be 18k not 22,5k as stated. Please who knows the closing date for course registration and exam. Is it 3rd August as I heard?
There is a closing date for semester and exam registration. If you pay the 35k now which is for semester registration, you must ensure to pay other necessary fees which would be used for both courses and exams registration before the semester closing date.
From your description you were offered 9 courses, registration of each courses will cost 2k per a 2 unit course and 2.5k per a 3 unit course, calculate it and see if your sum corresponds with the 22.5k you were told to pay. To register each courses for exam is 1k which is the equivalent of the 9k you are required to pay.
Success! Ur balance will always be in ur wallet |

Enskynelson: I funded 70k in my wallet then did 35k semester registration. To do course registrations, it is saying insufficient balance even when my wallet is having 35k left. Is anyone else experiencing this? Hey, is there any negative sign showing in the minus? |

Due to portal/server inconsistencies, the school management has decided to schedule Access to portal.
Portal Access Schedule:
1. Mondays: Faculty of Agric & Faculty of Social Sciences 2. Tuesdays: Faculty of Arts & Faculty of Management Sciences 3. Wednesdays: Faculty of Education & Faculty of Health Sciences 4. Thursdays: Faculty of Law & Faculty of Sciences 5.Fri, Sat, Sun: All Faculties
Now let me try and explain this, and why they did this. If you remember similar thing was done two semester ago. You should understand that NOUN site is built with #PHP, a programming language that works on the server and all students' data are being stored in a relational database(MySQL).
Understand that NOUN is the largest university in Nigeria. It has 72 study centres across the states. Have u ever wondered why the portal is always having issues? It is because to many requests are being made simultaneously. I don't think is the fault of the programmers or something. It is just the technology being used that is the problem, the application(site) has much users so it deemed to crash.
The new access schedule method that they have brought is the best. I believe that they are still figuring out something. |

The semester just started, there are fixing a lot of things on their code to rectify issues of negative balances on many persons portals, students should relax. Next week is not far from now, you can wait! Don't pay any money yet on ur portal
Cheers! |
