I have told you earlier that no one cares about how you feel or your perception about Nigeria.

You are just one single insignificant person out of almost 300 million Nigerians, so how you think about the Yorubas, hausas or Nigeria as a whole doesn't really bother anybody.

I am surprised you are just knowing that politics is a deceit game and a game of interest where everybody scramble only for what will benefit them.
This had been the ideology of politics from the onset and that is why it was summarised as a 'dirty game'.
Other tribes will fight you dirty once they know that you are not there for their interest.
Ask yourself, why did the Igbos gave their block votes of about 97% to obi in the last presidential election?
It is simply because they know he would favour them and serve their interests once he gets to aso rock.
The same reason applies why the north was giving block votes to buhari. The yorubas were even a bit liberal because tinubu lost his state of origin and the state he governed in the last election.
Many yorubas joined the obidients movement and voted for Peter obi only to face the shocking reality that the obidients movement is an Igbo idealogy.

Everybody condemned subsidy removal by tinubu, but he took everyone by suprise by announcing the removal in his first speech. There was nothing anyone could do than to continue to insult him and call him all manner of bad names as we all are doing till date.

We all know that no amount of protest is going to bring back subsidy so no point protesting, unlike Jonathan that was contemplating the removal of subsidy thereby giving room for opposition to protest.

The protest was championed by Yoruba because Jonathan never rate the Yoruba tribe. His government was obviously anti Yorubas. He completely marginalised the yorubas but instead of crying and playing the game, they aligned with the north to rescue power from him.
Even till today, no tribe has criticised the tinubu government more than the Yoruba tribe.

The protest was held at ojota in Lagos state, who do you expect to dominate the protest ? Who are the majority in Lagos? Is the protest a national protests?
Was it held across all the states of the nation? If a protest happens in Enugu state, which tribe will dominate the protest?

The people that championed the protest include, Oyegun edo state, Oshiomole edo, el rufai north, buhari north, tinubu, aregbesola, amaechi etc These were the core organisers of that protest.
Every other people were brought in to just to increase number. Some crowd were even paid stipends to be at the protest which are mostly yorubas because the venue is in Yoruba land.

If the protest had happened in Anambra or Kaduna, the Igbos or hausas would have dominated the protest too.

What happened at ojota was just a normal work of opposition politics. It is the same thing obi and ADC are doing today.

Jonathan would have ignore every opposition and go ahead with his subsidy removal agenda. The opposition will only oppose but they can't stop him if he was determined but he messed things up because he don't want to be seen as a bad person but the economy was already bad because we were already borrowing money to pay civil servants and our debt profile was piling up gradually.

- Tinubu established LIRS which most states adopted.
- Tinubu established the state IPP which most General hospitals and Alausa still use till date.
- Tinubu started/built modern (millennium) schools across Lagos
- Tinubu constructed many roads, Hospitals, infrastructure across Lagos.. infact in 1999/2000 when he invited then OBJ to commission roads across Surulere (where I grew up) we were on the road to wave their cars drive past.
- Tinubu developed Lagos island axis leading to Lekki and beyond.

Everyone knows that the best thing was for subsidy to go. Jonathan wanted to please the North and remain in power. That is why he succumbed to their pressure and that of balablu to keep subsidy.

He wasn't doing it because he loves Nigerians, he kept subsidy because he loves power and he was ready to please northern who loves free things.

I don't support balablu but he took the bold decision of subsidy removal without minding the consequences.

Today, he has become the most hated and most insulted president in the history of Nigeria because of subsidy.

Jonathan is the president, nobody can force him to reverse his decisions if he was determined to do something.
Stop blaming Nigerians over Jonathan's failure to trigger the right decision. He was the president .
