Maybe he was truly clueless. He wasn't sure and convinced or didn't really understood the benefits of removing subsidy and so, he caved under pressure and kept mute about it forever.
So are you saying you people chose to only deceive him ?

The question is why did you people decide to pressure him?
PoliticsRe: Nigeria Spends ₦9 Trillion Importing Petrol by Brendaniel: 7:16am On Mar 20
So with all the noise Tinubu and his supporters made about the success of his subsidy removal and Dangote refinery, Nigeria is still importing petrol like subsidy was never removed and Dangote refinery is not even existing.

Now the funny and annoying part is that, Nigeria now spends more on importation of oil and oil products, Dangote spent about 3 billion dollars importing crude oil, Nigeria is spending 9 trillion importing fuel that Dangote would have refined and given Nigerians to use if they had a good arrangement between the FG and his refinery, are we going to call this situation a lose-lose for Nigeria as a country?

Just look at the kind of management Tinubu is doing and yet he has supporters cheering him because of tribal, religious or political affiliation.
PoliticsRe: Tinubu Courageous To Remove Fuel Subsidy - Governor Alex Otti by Brendaniel: 6:49am On Mar 20
Godfullsam:
Jonathan really messed up. He was not a courageous president.

Who was tinubu during Jonathan's era as president? He was neither a governor nor a law makers. He was just a strong opposition.

You can't tell me it was tinubu that forced Jonathan not to removed the subsidy. If Jonathan had removed subsidy at that time, there is nothing balablu would have done.

That time was the best time to do away with subsidy.
And today you people will still be labeling him the worst president that ever graced the surface of the earth if he had done that,, just look at how you people keep twisting your tongues to suit your wicked ideology.

Jonathan removed subsidy, all of you including Tinubu called him the devil and protested against him, made him feel wicked for attempting it, fast forward to 2023 and Tinubu removed it, then Tinubu is the best thing to happen to Nigeria and he is courageous, Jonathan is now a weakling for listening to you people...

Then it means you people never had good plans and intentions for Nigeria and I doubt you people still do, if you people knew Jonathan was right back then and you people knowingly bullied him to do wrong thing and then your man Tinubu enters and does the supposed wrong you people labeled against Jonathan as being courageous and the best thing, omo!

How are we sure you people are not still lying with the support you all are giving to Tinubu like you people lied against Jonathan?

Don't you see that you people are the worst set of people to trust with your words and actions in Nigeria?

How do you want other Nigerians to take anything you people are saying and doing seriously?

So Jonathan is a coward for listening to you people who lied to him?

And Tinubu is a hero for doing what Jonathan was deceived by you people including Tinubu to not do?

You guys made me give up on the unity of Nigeria.
Foreign AffairsRe: Gulf States Meet In Riyadh, Urge Iran To Stop Attacks On Neighbouring Countries by Brendaniel: 10:28am On Mar 19
I knew it will get to this stage, it is not every time you do gra-gra, just imagine if all the countries hit decide to go to full war with Iran coupled with U.S and Israel, I advise they should all strike a peace deal with each other and apologize to each other.

But I notice how a lot of people miss really why Iran is going through these battles, mainly because of fighting Israel, I kind of feel their problem lies more in fighting the wrong way than whether what they are fighting for is right or wrong(my opinion though).

Sowore who was speaking or Egbetokun who was arresting ?

PoliticsRe: Remi Surutu Defends Tinubu Over Fuel Price Hike, Speaks On Yoruba Unity by Brendaniel: 5:42pm On Mar 17
So why did they protest against Jonathan when global price went up and he decided to raise it to about 85 naira per litre?

They wanted to burn down the country at 85 naira per litre with subsidy being paid for them, but are saying it is very good at 1500 naira per litre under Tinubu...

Tinubu's presidency exposed the ideology of the south west.

Yes, it does. It's called collateral damage in warfare. if you don't want your civilians killed, do not kill civilians of others, and that should be basic common sense. If i walk into your home and kill your wife and mother, are you going to let me walk out freely if you have a means to defend yourself?
I'm not justifying it, but let everyone condemn it equally.. that is my point, how can Iran be saying deat to Israel deat to America and people see it as normal...

Let's separate civilians from their governments during war

Foreign AffairsRe: Nigerians Among Over 140 Injured After Missile Strike On UAE by Brendaniel: 11:47am On Mar 17
Nnamdipapa:
Nope.

Iran was busy negotiating with the US and Israel in order to avoid the war, and suddenly, the US and Israel sprang a sudden attack on them. Remember, Iran already had an agreement with the US and UN, which Trump destroyed. All my life, I have been led to believe that US and Israel are the good guys and the Iranians are the villians. I am just realizing I have been totally wrong all along.

If someone attacks you, kills your father, mother, and children without any kind of war, would you just fold your arms and do nothing if you have a means of hitting back? Remember, this war is illegal and not sanctioned by US Congress.

Are you ok with Trump invading a sovereign country and kidnapping their president? Has Iran ever done something like that before?
When the Gulf countries allowed the US to build a military base to attack and kill Iranian citizens, they became legitimate targets and not third parties to the war. This is a war of CHOICE for the US and a war of SURVIVAL for the Iranians.
So it then justifies Iran attacking civilians ?

their mission can never be after military facilities.

That will be a one -on-one face-off they will be bargaining for obviously. They ain’t fighting uae

It is not their aim.

Americans around them are what causing these random strikes

Just as when Israel sent strikes in Qatar, it ended up being a case of apologies.

Hitting at military bases , you don already dey tell them sey mak them come meet with them too as well. No!
So they should attack civilians instead?
Foreign AffairsRe: Nigerians Among Over 140 Injured After Missile Strike On UAE by Brendaniel: 11:33am On Mar 17
Afolue:
it doesn’t work that way na. For example, it will be highly wrong for the uae to dare retaliate over all that the Iranians are doing now. Because they should be blaming themselves over their actions for harboring their enemies instead.

Iran attacking their military facilities is an act of awakening outright face off. It is not what the Iranian intend doing.

They’re just passing a message of “comot hand”. Using the opportunity of getting at the Americans and their facilities with them.

Just as the other world powers are not interested in trump’s request for their war ships to be sent.

UAE better be wise, they’re a too many expat there. Even more than their population. Na them go loose las,las
So how has over 140 civilians gotten injured if they were attacking only military facilities?

I am sure you were blind when US killed more than 170 school girls with tomahawk missiles in the middle of a negotiation. Another missile was sent to the same location forty minutes apart, targeting parents who went in search of their children.

This attacks were carried out from US military bases in the UAE which makes them a legitimate target. This is war my friend, you don't kill people and expect them not to retaliate and war has casualties.

UAE is a terrorist country supplying weapons to RSF in the on-going Sudan civil war in Sudan so they are not innocent.

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) is accused of backing and supplying arms to the Rapid Support Forces (RSF), led by Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo (Hemedti), in the Sudanese civil war against the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF). The conflict, which began in April 2023, has killed over 150,000 people, according to estimates by early 2026, though some estimates suggest up to 400,000 deaths.

Before the children were killed, was Iran not attacking civilians and civilian facilities?
