The court convicted Professor Ogban for manipulating election results, publishing and announcing false results in a National Assembly election held in February 2019 in Akwa Ibom North-West Senatorial District.

Fact 1. The election in question was the 2019 election

Fact 2. Akpabio wasn't in the senate for that period, he actually lost the election.

Fact 3. The court case just got concluded, and has nothing to do with the 2023 election.

How does an election of 2019 affect someone that contested for 2023, young man, stop watching Youtube and read actual news.

Fact 1. A parallel primary produced two different candidate (By law, there should be a rerun)

Fact 2. A rerun was conducted and Akpanbio won

Fact 3. His name was initially omitted because of FACT 1.

Fact 4. A court of law (federal high court) delibrated on the issue and INEC was told to publish Akpabio's name.
