Softmirror:I'm not wrong, look at your approach to solving this problem here, isn't it clear, that's how you people including Tinubu do your things.... dismissing the officers did not solve the underlying problem, If I were to be in charge I won't dismiss the officers, they might get punishment, but I would go after those who assigned them to her in the first place then place a ban on assigning police officers to anyone who is not a government official that actually requires by law police officers, only the court can grant police protection to an individual based on certain cases that might be before it. Then the police should work with private security firms to give them license to carry arms, that way private security firms will be regulated by the police, this will boost the private security business in the country, so if you feel you need protection, go to private firms and spend your money, you can't be using the police which is not even enough for Nigerians for private use... isn't this a better way to solve the problem, even if Angela or any person wants to use the private security to do jogging or act porn, it is her money, nobody will be bothered, do you know that the number of police men attached to private individuals and politicians are more than the police men doing work for the remaining Nigerians? Isn't that a problem to you and Tinubu? maybe not, that's you people will call dismissal a solution to a problem that is systemic, imagine dismissing police officers when their number is not even enough and the cause of their dismissal has not been solved... You see why I said you people like attacking symptoms and leaving the problems unsloved.... 1 Like |

Softmirror:The officers did not assign themselves to Angela Okorie, there is a systemic problem which is bigger than the police officers getting dismissed, that is what the police should be tackling, if it is tackled these police officers won't even be assigned to her in the first place, the police officers are only victims of that systemic rot. One thing I have noticed about you guys including Tinubu is that you people love fighting symptoms of problems while the underlying cause keeps getting worse, that's why Nigeria is where it is today, as they've dismissed these officers, does it change anything to others still doing the same all over the country? But come to look at it, Dangote is from Kano, the richest man in Nigeria and Africa, yet his state has among the highest number of out of school children in Nigeria, African and possibly in the world, his country has also being named poverty capital of the world, what does that tell you? It tells you that you can have the richest man in your country and your country can be the poorest nation on earth due to bad leadership, so when people are saying that we need like 10 of Dangote to change this country I laugh, because it might change little to nothing or even make it worse if care is not taken, Nigeria needs good leadership |

Samantha125:Ok, seems like you are really eager to know  So I would use just 2 of the guys I personally know who stay around my area, the 1st guy( a politician and political appointee to the governor) 2nd guy(a news and entertainment blogger) The 1st guy - a young guy possibly in his 30's, unmarried and doesn't look like he is ready to marry yet, a politician and government appointee, he is on nairaland, I noticed what he does for the government and political party he is working for is to promote their projects, their image and show that the government he is working for is working, though his appointment covers other duties which I wouldn't disclose here, so you might be asking how does nairaland and Seu.n come in? Well, here it is, Nairaland is Nigeria's biggest online discussion Forum, since this guy knows Seu.n his posts gets to front page daily, he gets an average of 4 - 10 of his topics to front page daily, as at today, he's gotten a brand new 2024 SUV from the state government, fully furnished apartment, cash flow from the government, trip to Canada, sleeps with different girls as he pleases I'm not saying he got all of that because of his posts on Nairaland but his posts getting to front page and the views and engagement he gets is a strong justification that he is doing what he was assigned to do. The 2nd guy - Travel and entertainment blogger, not as rich as the 1st guy but has been getting improved cash flow since more of his posts started getting to frontpage, Also heard he knows Seu.n, This one gets sometimes up to 10 topics a day on front page, here is how he makes his money, his blog link is attached to all his posts which I believe drives traffic to his blog and also improves his rating on google search which improves his SEO for higher traffic which generates cash for him, not too long ago he upgraded his vehicle from my brothers who deal on cars and they told me how his finances have improved too... Now you might be asking what is Seu.n's gain? Firstly they are his friends and secondly I believe from time to time they return favours back to him that also includes his mods who run theirs too on a lower level especially during elections, I only used these 2 for illustration, I know others, some way bigger than these guys I just mentioned and Nairaland is one of their main platforms to push whatever agenda they are trying to drive, their topics hit frontpage everyday for this purpose and they get paid for it by the people who sent them, this is not paid posts or adverts, their posts look like every other posts. I kinda believe they might be giving kick backs to some of the mods but not to Seu.n, I want to believe Seu.n is bigger than such except the very large favours possibly from government like the lady blogger in 2015 who could barely afford a brand new car then suddenly bought a house of about 3 million dollars immediately after the general elections for the work she did for ruling political party with her blog, From what I heard Seu.n currently lives in the U.S, I heard he bought a mansion there that he made so much money from the last election, I even had to tackle him during the election for a particular ad he allowed that period because it targeted my ethnic group and I told him if anyone dies during the election that their blood will be on his hands, he later took it down after so much backslash from others and said he will refund the money back and said he said he was going to lose 100's of thousands because of that and saying something like he was going to donate the remaining he didn't refund. From my observation about 20 -30 percent of the topics that hit front page are commercialized behind, it is so much that I noticed these specific individuals doing this have to create multiple accounts to mask it, I also believe the mods are in on it too, because it will look really biased for others who are posting. Well, don't feel bad about it, some people are just here for the money, I know you are here for the fun, but me I'm here to have a better country and the money too if I can |
