Governor Oyebanji emphasized that the Yoruba people must play a leading role in defending the transformative policies of the current administration, assuring that the present economic challenges would soon be overcome. “I just want to plead with us, that we have a sacred duty to support President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. History has put it on our shoulders now to stand by him. We don't have a choice other than to give him our total support. We, from the south West don't have a choice. “It is not in our place to criticize this Government. We have access to the President through the Governors, through our party leaders. And if there are things we feel strongly about, we should put heads together and look for the right channel to pass it across to him. This is because we don’t know when we will have this kind of opportunity again.Look at the dirty tribalism these guys are still playing, Tinubu presidency exposed a whole lot in Nigeria ...

I'm really wondering, why are you guys so engrossed in politics than good governance ? You guys act like the reason why Nigeria exists is just for politics... You guys don't even discuss about pressing issues people are going through, it is all about politics, election, strategy, who is winning, who is losing and all those stuffs that has nothing to do with good governance or service delivery... Something is definitely wrong with you guys, this is one of the reasons I seriously want the country to divide because I discovered that people like Tinubu are just one part of the problems of Nigeria and even if they are out of the scene, I will still have to deal with people like you who I have seen numerous of your type especially from your region... What is it about politics that you people take as the most important thing a country should be involved in, then governance takes the back seat. You have about 375 topics, mostly politics..... Your people are dying, suffering, getting killed committing suicide because of bad governance that you support, let's even assume you hate other regions. What about your own region, are your people's lives so worthless to you? Sincerely speaking, Personally I see this behaviour as pure mental illness, that is how I see it... I see you guys as people who are fighting to captain a ship that is sinking, instead of trying to save the ship from sinking and because of the fight the ship seems to be drowning faster, but you guys are more concerned about captaining the ship even though passengers are already getting drowned and not even concerned that you guys might end up drowning with the ship... I was once a very strong advocate for 1 Nigeria, you can check my past posts from when I registered on Nairaland in 2011, but Tinubu's presidential ambition has revealed a whole lot in this country ... Our regional political ideology is too far apart for us to share country together, what you guys want is not what we want... Each time I read posts from people like you, sometimes I'm almost shedding tears, like with all the pressing issues in Nigeria, what tops your priority is politics... And that's the same way Tinubu is thinking too, to him everything is politics, he plays politics with people's lives, everything to him is politics... You guys get so engrossed with politics that you forget to be human beings that should have pity on other human beings... That's why Tinubu doesn't have pity for Nigerians because he is so engrossed in politics just like you, I've know this even before he became president and that was also part of the reason I didn't want him to get there... It will be all about politics without pity because he will be so engrossed in it just like you, the red flags where there. That is why I am not surprised at all with his performance... He will take every decision he believes will keep him politically relevant and even if it hurts the people, building political structure is more important to him. Please read this article and ask yourself sincere questions... https://www.nairaland.com/7802865/only-tinubu-supporters-saw-nigeria |
MIKOLOWISKA:Where you born before 1990? I have a reason I am asking, too many false narratives about history here on Nairaland especially from Tinubu supporters, some did not even experience Tinubu's governance yet they will be arguing with so much arrogance on false information with people who actually experienced multiple military regimes before Tinubu ever became governor .. I'm not here to waste my time with someone that is arrogantly misinformed ... |
MIKOLOWISKA:See talk o Does a father follow his child everywhere? But the father is responsible for the child's actions Tinubu appointed the IGP , his actions are now Tinubu's responsibilties to take care off |
Alliswell248:Please can you list the investments that were abandoned ? ![]() |
There are 4 major criteria to be a Tinubu supporter and the person will either have at least 1 or all of these attributes 1. You must be a liar 2. You must be wicked and heartless 3. You must hate on Igbos 4. Must be easy to deceive. May their souls rest in peace |
Daniel058:Thank You very much I really appreciate ... |
Fearurcreeator:Tinubu is still my state Governor's leader and the first citizen of Nigeria, he should be the one leading by example or are you implying that Tinubu should come and learn good leadership qualities from my state governor ? ![]() |
tsdarkside:I think you are referring to yourself...
|
YorubaDemonswag: ![]()

MEEVEET:No, never supported Tinubu but supported Buhari in 2015 against Jonathan and found that he was a complete fraud after about 1 and half years into his administration, ever since I knew APC just came for power grabbing... |
Fearurcreeator:So Netherlands is an insane clime to you abi? ![]() |
senatordave1:Why don't you wait till then ? That was how you people were saying Tinubu will do this and that and replicate what he did in Lagos, see what he has done so far.... You people should learn how to stop counting your chicks before they hatch... Don't you people learn? |
senatordave1:God fatherism can die, it has happened in the south east, you can't be a god father in the south east, you can install a successor but you can't control him, once you transfer power him, it is bye bye... That's why some of them don't put in a successor anymore because if it is for selfish benefits they won't benefit anything... People have tried it and failed... So it is possible to kill god fatherism Tinubu controlled Lagos for 24 years and acquired enough to control other states in the west, that enabled him to amass enough corrupt political structure to become president .... |
richmond500:And what would you do in 2027? Remove him? |
senatordave1:That means Tinubu is a militant, a money launderer, an agbero, and a criminal partner, it means every bad person who has met Tinubu is his partner in crime... |
senatordave1:So why are corpers, police, federal workers and even pensioners complaining ? |
senatordave1:Did I say Gumi was a good person? |
senatordave1:You are completely wrong, I knew this is what you would say, breaking of law and all that stuff ![]() I want you to understand my stand on this particular issue or similar issues that are like this, like Ambode and Tinubu in Lagos saga.... Do you know why I am supporting Fubara? I'm supporting him because of injustice(not against Fubara) but against the people of Rivers and I will explain... In the governorship election of Rivers, Wike denied and cheated the people of Rivers, I was very angry because I believe in free and fair election. Even if the people decide to vote a goat or monkey as their governor let it be their choice, do not impose a leader on them and there is reason why I take it very seriously . Because when you impose a leader on the people, you make strong men and weak institutions and ofcourse governance will be all about loyalty to the strong men while the people may be left out because the people didn't have a say in making the governor or leader. And when the governor begins to misbehave, he is not answerable to the people because they didn't elect him and they can't even remove him because the institutions to help them do it have been weakened by the strong men, the people become powerless and helpless to make a change in governance.. You can see so many states in Nigeria already in that state and even Nigeria itself with Tinubu, I mean look at the last protest, Tinubu is bigger than all the present institutions in Nigeria, he is answerable to nobody and that is why he can misbehave as he wants, who will hold him accountable? I knew this what will happen with Tinubu if he had his way which is already happening, that was part of the reasons I fought so much for him not to get there, but he still had his way... I laugh when I see people say they will vote him out in 2027 or they will do protest to make him do what he doesn't want to do, I just laugh. Which institution has enough power to bend the will of Tinubu in present day Nigeria, none except you want to go spiritual... Sorry for digressing, I just needed you to get a clearer picture of why I'm supporting Fubara... So back to the issue, I saw Fubara's governship as an illegal one, though it has been legalized, the reason I'm supporting Fubara is I want him to punish Wike for doing what he did to Rivers people... It is not as if I like Fubara, I see him as a very corrupt person but I want Wike to learn a lesson and never try it again in his life, also I want others who think they will do such to have a rethink. That is why I am happy about UBA Sanni and El-Rufai feud and I pray Ododo will fight Yahaya Bello... god fatherism must die, Tinubu is president today because of god fatherism. Since Fubara's governorship foundation was founded on illegality then he might have to use illegality to govern, as long as he fights Wike down to finish then he has my support so he too will know that after his tenure he will not impose anybody on the people and if he does, the same thing should happen to him to teach him a lesson |
senatordave1:Owing workers and paying them in the end is different from owing workers and not paying them before leaving office... Which one is your claim now? |
senatordave1:Did you listen to Bello Turji? |
senatordave1:Is visiting partnership? They are his partners and their names have been mentioned different times as othe terrorists as being heads of terrorists and yet these are people in Tinubu's government and he has refused to investigate even with a court order to that effect, he still refused to investigate them.... If Tinubu is not in support of terrorism, why hasn't he investigated them? |
senatordave1:Where is your proof? |
softtorce:Who cares if you vote Peter Obi? My own is if you support or vote nonsense, I will mock you... |
Daniel058:Sorry that I'm asking different questions o, I just want to follow proper guideline. It is morning, afternoon or night? |
senatordave1:Mattawale and Shettima... |
Daniel058:Please Is it once a day and what brand of stout ? |
Daniel058:So can you kindly break down the preparation technique you used and the dose you were taking and for how long? |
helinues:You didn't remember that Nigeria belonged to all of us when Tinubu supporters were bullying and injuring voters in Lagos and forcing them to vote APC just because they looked like Igbos ? |
There are 4 major criteria to be a Tinubu supporter and the person will either have at least 1 or all of these attributes 1. You must be a liar 2. You must be wicked and heartless 3. You must hate on Igbos 4. Must be easy to deceive. |
Coolestguy2023:Is Wike the governor of Rivers state? What does he want from Rivers state? |
