Who doesn't know, I just pity the foot soldiers they keep sending to fight terrorism especially in the north, like how can your employer be the one sabotaging you in a war front?
Just because they want to make money or because of religious affiliation.
For me if had only 2 options given to fight for either Boko haram or the current Nigerian government or military, I will choose Boko haram, because their leaders will never sabotage their fighters for monetary gain, I can't put my life on the line for idiots who are looting recklessly and still sabotaging their soldiers just to make more money. |

Lanruze: Tinubu and his economic team should be humble enough to seek opinions from Obj and his economic team on debt forgiveness.
Multi-lateral agencies like the IMF look for impoverished developing countries to exploit.
Imagine the interest on principal and also sure that some of those funds we diverted , mismanaged or over inflated. It won't still work, because of Tinubu's level of corruption. Just imagine, he paid 1.2 billion dollars of the debt and took over 3 billion dollars more in the same 9 months, is that what OBJ did? No loan giver will see you taking more loans and forgive the previous ones you have not paid complete from the same person(the lender) |

We need more of younger generations people that do not share the philosophy of bigotry and tribalism.
Those ones are possibly rare or not yet born. Anybody from forty years upwards, may not be able to save this country.
All we need is generational mentality gap. I don't really see anything Atiku, Obi, Atiku/Obi, Tinubu or any of these generational block can do differently. They are all birds of the same feather.

I mean Russia is already the largest nation by landmass, yet they still want more. The question you should also be asking is would USA give Mexico breathing space if they invited Russia to have military base and even start building nuclear research facility inside Mexico ? The more you look, the less you see And you believed the lies Tinubu and APC were telling Nigerians, I never believed it... The main reason why Naira is falling has little or nothing to do with almost everything they claimed, the main reason is corruption and mainly by Tinubu, APC and the entire government in partnership with their cronies outside of government... When they say import and all that production thing they say I just laugh, those are secondary issues, till you see these present politicians running up and down to oppose a monetary policy Tinubu or the CBN makes then know they have started doing the right thing.

jumper524: A lot of us can't see that our country has been projected never to succeed.
Firstly, countries are trying hard to improve their OPEC quota but then the situation with Nigeria is different. In 2014 we were effortlessly exporting the 2.5 million barrel daily. There was massive recruitment into the special force in order to combat militancy, there was better negotiation with militants heads and Niger delta stake holders in order to improve the situation since 2015 but then we're loosing extra 1million barrel per day. Some would say the FG is responsible but then every logical step has been taken by the FG.. The FG needs those extra 1million being lost daily so they can steal, settle some debt and individuals but then we're loosing these stuffs... The real question to ask is unknown sef. How do we survive the onslaught. Who's sabotaging us. A refinery that was suppose to be our economic solution is into play but then our exchange rate was bleeped beyound measure to make it happen. In 2014 we had almost zero rice produce, zero refinery, zero active rail way, zero car manufacturing company yet our exchange rate was 180.. Today we've improved on these stuffs yet the economy continue to decline. What's happening I ask again? What exactly do you mean by logical step has been taken? |

Image123: Keep your silly wishes to yourself; you've mentioned this a couple of times and i have deliberately ignored the folly. Now you have somehow jumped to which party is better, from Obi to christian to Igbo to OBJ and now PDP.
i didn't say, the facts say so, you must have Google and learn to use it on your device. This spoonfeeding isunfortunate. OBJ's 8 years of do or die politics, massive corruption and virtual sale of our nation exposed the keg of gunpowder that the nation had been literarily sitting on for decades. Some of the fruits of his government were boko haram terrorism, pipeline vandalism and militancy. The ones peculiar to the South-south were not very pronounced compared to the north, as our brother GEJ was in power, and anyway, there was a lot of money and stealing (which according to GEJ is not corruption) to go around.
i already mentioned that OBJ achieved debt forgiveness. How are you asking me to show you that his debt profile was low again? Do you lack comprehension? Scroll back though, i had previously shown you the debts of GEJ, Buhari and Tinubu here, i don't know what you want again. You don't understand simple economics of the monies involved/wasted in "defending" the naira by GEJ and PMB. You will still ask through the back door for a lecture on that as well after another round of useless wishes. So in a nutshell are you saying Nigeria is better off now under the APC than it was under the PDP government? |

BTW, you have moved your goalpost yet again. Earlier, you were concerned about Igbos, and then Obi, now you just hope to prove that OBJ is good. Quite funny if not annoying. i never mentioned OBJ, i said Buhari was a better choice than GEJ in 2015 and i have given reasons. i said Tinubu was, is and will continue to be a better choice than Obi. You brought up the need to support Igbos out of thin air, i disproved that as there was no major Igbo contender. You have not focused on the topic AT ALL. Rather, you are learning by the back door. i want to hope that you noticed the more than times 4 (400%) jump of official naira to dollar rate from 1999 to 2000. OBJ enjoyed everything possible, a new start, experience, and unity from in and out. He should have done every good thing that we are currently looking for. All he used the goodwill to do was look for debt forgiveness, get himself and his vice private university. I really wish this country can just break up, reading your half baked analysis is so annoying, Nigeria is where it is today because of people like you, because what you are trying to tall me is that Nigeria is better now than it was during the PDP era.... You said OBJ sold above 2 million barrels, the question is why did Buhari and Tinubu not sell up to that ? The answer is leadership failure, same blame also goes to Jonathan.... Then you will refused to provide data and Nigeria's debt profile at 1999 and the debt profile at 2007 same with 2015 and 2023... Because it will rubbish your last paragraph that OBJ only worked for debt forgiveness getting private university...
